PERSONAL ORNAMENT

A purpose of the present invention is to simplify work for causing a frame to support a decorative member. Another purpose of the present invention is to facilitate obtaining a sufficient oscillation of the decorative member with regard to the frame. This personal ornament comprises: a frame (5); a decorative member (2) which is positioned in an interior space of the frame (5); a support aperture (7) which is pierced through the decorative member (2); and a linear support member (10) which is passed through the support aperture (7) and both ends whereof are anchored to the frame (5). The decorative member (2) is oscillatably supported with regard to the frame (5) by the linear support member (10) which makes linear contact over the entire length of the support aperture (7) with an apex part (7c) of the support aperture (7).

TECHNICAL FIELD

The following disclosure relates to a personal ornament in which a gemstone such as diamond is supported so as to be rockable with respect to a frame.

BACKGROUND

In a related art, pendant tops described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 are known as personal ornaments in which gems such as diamonds are supported so as to be rockable. In these pendant tops, a decorative member including a jewel such as diamond and a support part on which the jewel is placed is disposed at the center of a frame, and round rings provided on both sides of the decorative member are connected to a round ring provided on the side of the frame, thereby rockably supporting the decorative member with respect to the frame.

DISCLOSURE Technical Problem

In a related-art pendant top, when connecting round rings provided on both sides of a decorative member and the round ring provided on a side of a frame, a portion of one round ring is cut, and the other round ring is allowed to pass through the cut portion. Thereafter, the cut portion needs to be brazed to return to the round ring again.

However, since the ring is a small member, brazing to return to the original round ring again requires skill, and a distortion may be left on the brazed ring. In this case, if the left and right shapes of the round ring become slightly deformed, the decorative member may not swing sufficiently.

Accordingly, the present disclosure provides a personal ornament which can simplify a work that requires skill to support the decorative member on the frame and can obtain sufficient swinging of the decorative member with respect to the frame.

Technical Solution

In one general aspect, a personal ornament includes: a frame; a decorative member disposed in an inner space of the frame and including a jewel and a support fixing the jewel; a support aperture penetrating the support of the decorative member; and a linear support member inserted into the support aperture and having both ends thereof fixed to the frame, wherein the decorative member is supported rockably with respect to the frame by the linear support member which makes linear contact with the top of the support aperture along the entire length of the support aperture.

The support aperture may have the same circular cross-sectional shape along the entire length thereof. The linear support member may have a tapered cross-sectional shape toward the top of the support aperture, and may include a sharp portion disposed at the top of the linear support member and making linear contact with the top of the support aperture.

The support aperture may be formed on a vertical line passing a center point of the decorative member, and may be formed between the center point and an upper end portion of the decorative member.

The frame may include a pair of ring members spaced apart from each other and a connection member connecting the pair of ring members, and the pair of ring members may be designed and decorated differently from each other.

Advantageous Effects

According to a personal ornament of the present invention, a support aperture is penetratively formed in a decorative member disposed in the inner space of a frame, and a linear support member is inserted into the support aperture. Also, the support member makes linear contact with the top of the support aperture along the entire length of the support aperture. Thus, the decorative member can be rockably supported. Accordingly, since a work for connecting the decorative member and the frame with a round ring in a related is unnecessary, the work becomes very simple and easy, and efficient swing of the decorative member with respect to the frame can be obtained.

Furthermore, the cross-sectional shape of the support aperture is formed to have the same circular shape along the entire length, and the cross-sectional shape of the linear support member is tapered toward the top of the support aperture. Also, since a sharp portion provided at the top end thereof makes linear contact with the top of the support aperture, the decorative member can be uniformly supported over the entire length. Thus, it is possible to obtain fine rocking toward the front and to prevent the right and left sides of the decorative member from swinging back and forth.

In addition, since the support aperture provided in the decorative member is formed on the vertical line passing the center point of the decorative member and is formed between the center point and the upper end portion of the decorative member, the decorative member can be maintained straight upright toward the front, and it is easy to obtain the fine rocking of the decorative member.

In addition, since a pair of ring members constituting the frame are designed and decorated differently from each other, the personal ornament can be enjoyed from both faces by reversing the front and rear of the frame.

BEST MODE

Hereinafter, a personal ornament according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 1 to 8 show a pendant top 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

The pendant top 1 includes a decorative member 2 having a cut diamond 3 as an example of a jewel and a support 4 on which the cut diamond 3 is mounted, and a ring-shaped frame 5 disposed so as to surround the decorative member 2, and the decorative member 2 is supported so as to be rockable with respect to the frame 5.

The frame 5 includes a front ring member 5a and a rear ring member 5b which have the same ring shape and are disposed spaced apart from each other, and a connection member 5b connecting the pair of ring members 5a and 5b.

The connection member 5c is disposed in plurality at a uniform interval along the circumference of the pair of ring members 5a and 5b such that a certain width space 5d is provided between the front ring member 5a and the rear ring member 5b.

The decorative member 2 swings back and forth in the width space 5d. Also, a chain 6 for suspending the pendant top 1 is hung around an upper connection member 5c′ of the frame 5.

The pair of ring members 5a and 5b are designed and decorated differently from each other.

In this embodiment, the front ring member 5a is decorated with a plurality of egg-shaped jewels 5e arranged along the circumference thereof, and the rear ring member 5b is decorated with a plurality of punching portions 5f along the circumference thereof.

As shown in FIG. 8 by differently designing the pair of ring members 5a and 5b, the pendant top 1 may be appreciated by reversing the front face and the rear face of the frame 5.

In this embodiment, the frame 5 is constituted by the pair of circular ring members 5a and 5b, but is not necessarily limited to this shape.

A portion of the ring may be omitted, or the frame may have a rectangular shape.

As shown in FIG. 2, the decorative member 2 is disposed at a substantially central portion of the inner space 5g when the frame 5 is viewed from the front.

As described above, the decorative member 2 includes the jewel such as the cut diamond 3 and the support 4 for fixing the jewel.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the support 4 has a substantially inverted triangular shape when viewed from the front, and includes a recess 4a formed inside the support 4 to receive a pavilion 3a of the cut diamond 3.

Nail portions 4b, 4c and 4d are provided in the vicinity of the three vertexes of the support 4, and the cut diamond 3 is fixed in the support 4 by allowing the nail portions 4b, 4c and 4d to hook the girdle portion 3b and the crown 3d of the support 3.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, a support aperture 7 is formed in an upper portion of the support 4 so as to penetrate the inside of the support 4 in a horizontal direction.

The support aperture 7 is a tunnel-shaped hole extending in a horizontal direction, and has the same cross-sectional shape over the entire length of the support aperture 7.

Also, left and right open ends 7a and 7b of the support aperture 7 are provided at the left and right sides of the support 4, and the open ends 7a and 7b are located near the rear side of a pair of nail portions 4b and 4c provided on the support 4 as shown in FIG. 4.

As shown in FIG. 5, the support aperture 7 is formed on a vertical line 8 passing through the center point P of the support 4 and the cut diamond 3 when the cut diamond 3 is fixed to the support 4, and is preferably formed between the center point P and an upper end portion 4e of the support 4.

Thus, the decorative member 2 can be maintained straight upright toward the front face, and the decorative member 2 may be easily allowed to be rocked finely.

When the decorative member 2 is not moved, the table surface 3c and the crown 3d of the cut diamond 3 face the front side straight without tilting up and down.

As shown in FIG. 4, since the shape of the upper portion of the support 4 is curved from the rear side to the left and right sides, the left and right open ends 7a and 7b of the support aperture 7 are not seen from the front side of the cut diamond 3 (see FIG. 2), and the appearance is not damaged.

The cross-sectional shape of the support aperture 7 may be circular.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the sectional shape is a circular shape, but the action effect is almost the same even though the sectional shape is an elliptical shape.

By making the sectional shape of the support aperture 7 circular, a linear support member 10 described below can always support the decorative member 2 at a top 7c of the support aperture 7.

The linear support member 10 is inserted into the support aperture 7 provided in the support 4.

The support member 10 may be formed of a thin metal wire such as wire or piano wire, or a resin thread such as fishing line.

The material and the diameter of the support member 10 are not particularly limited, but the support member 10 may support the decorative member 2 while being tightly pulled without being bent.

As shown in FIG. 6, the support member 10 is maintained in a straight-line state over the entire length of the support aperture 7, thereby surely making linear contact with the top 7c of the support aperture 7.

Thus, the linear support member 10 makes linear contact with the top 7c of the support aperture 7 over the entire length of the support aperture 7 penetrating the support 4, and rockably supports the decorative member 2 by the linear contact of the support member 10.

Accordingly, a delicate connection work by a round ring as in a related art becomes unnecessary, and thus the assembling work becomes very simple.

Also, the decorative member 2 is uniformly supported over all by the linear contact of the support member 10. As a result, it is possible to sufficiently obtain a fine rocking of the decorative member 2 with respect to the frame 5.

When the support member 10 is formed of a metal wire having the same material as the frame 5, both ends 10a and 10b of the support member 10 may be fixed to the frame 5 by laser welding.

Both ends 10a and 10b of the support member 10 are fixed to the connection member 5c connecting the pair of ring members 5a and 5b. In this embodiment, among the plurality of connection members 5c, the support member 10 may be fixed to left and right central connection members 5c″ located at the center of the frame 5 as shown in FIG. 1.

Also, as described above, the decorative member 2 is located at the substantially central portion in a longitudinal direction of the central connection member 5c″ so as not to protrude from the front ring member 5a and the rear ring member 5b.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the linear support member 10 has a tapered sectional shape toward the top 7c of the support aperture 7, and has a sharp portion 10c which is in contact with the top 7c of the support aperture 7.

As shown in FIG. 6, the sharp portion 10c is formed along the entire length of the support member 10. As shown in FIG. 6, the sharp portion 10c makes linear contact with the top 7 of the support aperture 7 from one open end 7a to the other open end 7b of the support aperture 7 along the entire length of the support aperture 7.

Thus, the decorative member 2 is rockably supported by the sharp portion 10c of the support member 10 which is in linear contact with the top 7c of the support aperture 7 along the entire length of the support aperture 7.

Accordingly, the decorative member 2 is uniformly supported along the entire length, and it is easy to obtain a fine swing toward the front.

Also, as shown in the two-dot chain line of FIGS. 7A and 7B, it is possible to effectively prevent the right and left sides of the decorative member 2 from swinging back and forth when the decorative member 2 is rocked. Accordingly, the decorative member 2 can be rocked while the table surface 3c of the cut diamond 3 always faces the front.

Furthermore, the decorative member 2 is slidably supported by the linear support member 10.

As shown in FIG. 9, stoppers 11a and 11b for restricting the sliding of the decorative member 2 may be disposed around both sides of the decorative member 2.

A number of exemplary embodiments have been described above. Nevertheless, it will be understood that various modifications may be made. For example, suitable results may be achieved if the described techniques are performed in a different order and/or if components in a described system, architecture, device, or circuit are combined in a different manner and/or replaced or supplemented by other components or their equivalents. Accordingly, other implementations are within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A personal ornament comprising:

a frame;
a decorative member disposed in an inner space of the frame and comprising a jewel and a support fixing the jewel;
a support aperture penetrating the support of the decorative member; and
a linear support member inserted into the support aperture and having both ends thereof fixed to the frame,
wherein the decorative member is supported rockably with respect to the frame by the linear support member which makes linear contact with the top of the support aperture along the entire length of the support aperture.

2. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the support aperture has the same circular cross-sectional shape along the entire length thereof.

3. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the linear support member maintains a straight line along the entire length of the support aperture, and makes linear contact with the top of the support aperture.

4. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the linear support member has a tapered cross-sectional shape toward the top of the support aperture, and comprises a sharp portion disposed at the top of the linear support member and making linear contact with the top of the support aperture.

5. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the support aperture penetrates the support in a horizontal direction.

6. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the support aperture is formed on a vertical line passing a center point of the decorative member, and is formed between the center point and an upper end portion of the decorative member.

7. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the frame comprises a pair of ring members spaced apart from each other and a connection member connecting the pair of ring members, and the pair of ring members are designed and decorated differently from each other.

8. The personal ornament of claim 1, wherein the decorative member is slidably supported by a support member, and stoppers for restricting the slide are disposed around both sides of the decorative member.
