TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to mascara, and more particularly, to mascara with improved hygienic properties and durability.

BACKGROUND ART

In general, mascara is a tool provided for the makeup of eyelashes, and is used to apply mascara liquid of various colors to the eyelashes so that the eyelashes can be outlined by more smoothly and firmly emphasizing the eyelashes.

The mascara generally includes a container main body in which mascara liquid is accommodated, a handle for opening and closing the container main body, a brush rod protruding downward from the handle and having a rod shape, and a brush formed in the brush rod. For the mascara having the foregoing structure, it is common to coat the brush with an appropriate amount of mascara liquid by combining or detaching the handle and the container main body and then use the mascara while rotating the brush.

Especially, the brush is made to suit a variety of functions, such as volume (the effect of making eyelashes look rich), curl (the effect of rolling the ends of eyelashes upward), long lash (the effect of making eyelashes look longer), and clean (the effect of preventing eyelashes from clumping), for the eyelashes, depending on the length and the shape of the hair.

The mascara brush exhibiting the foregoing function is a tool for the makeup of the eyelashes, so that irritation needs to be minimized, mascara liquid needs to be applied well, and consumers should feel good.

Accordingly, research on a mascara brush has been actively conducted in recent years, and for example, a mascara brush, which complements or enhances each of the foregoing functions or exhibits a complex function by improving a shape or a material of the mascara brush, has been developed.

DISCLOSURE Technical Problem

The present invention is conceived to solve the problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide mascara, in which a tip member applying cosmetic liquid is made of a metal material, so that cleansing may be easy.

Another object of the present invention is to provide mascara, in which a tip member is made of a metal material, so that it is possible to prevent deformation of a shape even in continuous use and give a visual luxury.

Another object of the present invention is to provide mascara, in which a tip member is implemented in various shapes, and which enables a user to feel a variety of feelings by combining a brush that is made of a different material from that of a tip member.

Technical Solution

Mascara according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a handle; a brush rod extended from one side of the handle; and a tip member provided at one end of the brush rod, in which the tip member includes a base part shaped like a pillar, and a plurality of protruding parts protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part, and the base part and the protruding part are made of a metal material.

Particularly, the base part and the protruding parts may be integrally provided.

Particularly, the protruding part may continuously or discontinuously protrude along a circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part, and a plurality of protruding parts may be provided in a longitudinal direction of the base part.

Particularly, the protruding parts may be provided so that protruding lengths from the outer circumferential surface of the base part are different.

Particularly, the protruding part may be provided so that a length is gradually decreased at a tip end side of the base part.

Particularly, the base part may be provided so that a circumference is different in a longitudinal direction.

Particularly, the base part may be provided so that a middle region is concave in the longitudinal direction.

Particularly, the tip member may be provided so as to be bent toward one direction.

Particularly, the brush rod may be made of a metal material.

Particularly, the brush rod may further include a through-hole at one end of the brush rod.

Particularly, the base part of the tip member may further include an insertion part which is extended toward the brush rod and is coupled to the through-hole.

Particularly, a first screw thread may be provided on an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, and a second screw thread corresponding to the first screw thread may be provided on an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member may be coupled to the brush rod by a screw-engagement.

Particularly, a bump may be provided in one region of an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, and an undercut may be provided at a location corresponding to the bump in an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member may be coupled to the brush rod by the insertion of the bump into the undercut.

Particularly, an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole may be provided to be the same as or smaller than an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member may be coupled to the brush rod by forcible fitting of the insertion part to the through-hole.

Particularly, the insertion part may be provided in a spherical shape and be inserted into the through-hole, so that the tip member may be rotatably coupled to the brush rod.

Particularly, the brush rod may further include a bent portion, in which a tip end is bent and extended inwardly.

Particularly, the mascara may further include a cover member configured to surround the insertion part together with the tip end of the brush rod.

Particularly, an elastic member may be provided in the through-hole, so that the tip member may be movable to an inner side and an external side of the through-hole by elastic force of the elastic member.

Particularly, the brush rod may further include a bent portion, in which a tip end is bent and extended inwardly.

Particularly, the tip member may be located at an inner side of the bent portion and may further include a plate member having the same size as a size of an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole at one side that is in contact with the elastic member.

Particularly, the tip member may be additionally combined with a brush member at a tip end.

Particularly, the brush member may have a brush form or a form in which a brush hair is wound around a wire.

Particularly, the brush hair may include at least one selected from the group consisting of nylon, cotton, and elastomer.

Advantageous Effects

In the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member, which applies cosmetic liquid, is made of a metal material, so that it is easy to clean the tip member to be hygienic, and the amount of cosmetic liquid applied is constant to prevent the cosmetic liquid from being agglomerated and improve a curling effect.

Further, in the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member is made of the metal material, so that even during the continuous use, it is possible to prevent the tip member from being deformed to improve usability and give visual luxury and beauty.

Further, in the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member is implemented with various shapes, and the brush, which is made of a different material from that of the tip member, is coupled to the tip member made of a metal material, to give a variety of feelings, such as curling and volume, during the use, thereby improving satisfaction of a user.

Further, in the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member is made of the metal material, so that a gap between the protruding parts, a width of the protruding part, and a length of the protruding part may be variously implemented, and a tip end of the protruding part may also be formed in various forms, and it is possible to maintain durability of the tip member.

MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Objects, specific advantages, and new characteristics of the present invention will become more apparent from the detailed description associated with the accompanying drawings and an exemplary embodiment. It should be noted that in giving reference numerals to elements of each drawing in the present specification, like reference numerals refer to like elements even though like elements are shown in different drawings. Further, in the following description of the exemplary embodiment, a detailed description of known technology incorporated herein will be omitted when it is judged that the detailed description may make the subject matter of the present disclosure unclear.

Hereinafter, an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating mascara according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 1, the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include a container main body 50 (see FIG. 11A) in which cosmetic liquid is accommodated, a handle 10 for opening and closing the container main body 50, a brush rod 20 protruding downward from the handle 10 and shaped like a rod, and a tip member 30 formed at the brush rod 20.

First, the container main body 50 is provided with a space, in which cosmetic liquid is accommodated, therein, and an injection hole 51 (see FIG. 11A) provided in an upper portion of the container main body 50 may be sealed or opened by the handle 10 which will be described below. In this case, an outer circumferential surface of the injection hole 51 may be provided in the form of a screw thread. A form, a structure, and the like of the container main body 50 are not particularly limited, and it is a matter of course that the container main body 50 may be manufactured in any form or structure which allows the cosmetic liquid accommodated inside the container main body 50 to be easily withdrawn by using the brush rod 20 and the tip member 30 which will be described below.

Further, the handle 10 may be combined with or detached from the container main body 50, and may be used as a lid of the container main body 50. In this case, the brush rod 20 may be coupled and fixed to an upper surface of the internal side of the handle 10. That is, the handle 10 and the brush rod 20 may be integrally or separately manufactured.

The handle 10 forms an external appearance of the mascara together with the container main body 50, and the handle 10 may be provided with a screw thread on an inner circumferential surface thereof so as to be screw-engaged with the injection hole 51 provided in the upper portion of the container main body 50. However, the container main body 50 and the handle 10 are not limited to the opening/closing by the screw-engagement, and it is a matter of course that the container main body 50 and the handle 10 may be combined by various opening/closing possible structures in addition to the screw-engagement.

The brush rod 20 is shaped like a rod, and may be extended from the upper surface of the internal side of the handle 10 toward the container main body 50. The tip member 30 may be provided at one end of the brush rod 20, and the tip member 30 may be made of a metal material. Further, the tip member 30 may include a base part 31 shaped like a cylinder, and a plurality of protruding parts 32 protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part 31.

As described above, all of the base part 31 and the protruding parts 32 of the tip member 30 are made of the metal material, so that even though the tip member 30 is used for a long time, the tip member 30 is not deformed in a shape to achieve good durability, and the tip member 30 is easily cleaned, so that it is possible to hygienically use the tip member 30. Further, the texture of the metal may double luxury and beauty. The tip member 30 made of the metal material may prevent the clumping of the eyelashes due to a constant amount of the cosmetic liquid applied, and may provide a curling effect by being able to strongly support the eyelashes.

As illustrated in FIG. 1, the base part 31 of the tip member 30 may be provided so that a cross-section of a tip end is gradually decreased while being shaped like a cylinder. The protruding parts 32 protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the base part 31 generally protrude with the same length, but the protruding part 32 at the tip end side of the base part 31 may protrude with a different length from those in other regions.

That is, the protruding part 32 may be provided so that a protruding length is gradually decreased at the tip end side of the base part 31. Accordingly, it is easy to put the tip member 30 in the injection hole 51 of the container main body 50 and take the tip member 30 out of the injection hole 51 of the container main body 50, so that a user may conveniently use the mascara.

Further, the protruding part 32 may continuously protrude along a circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part 31 and provided in the shape of a donut, and the plurality of protruding parts 32 may be provided in a longitudinal direction of the base part 31. As described above, the protruding parts 32 are provided along the outer circumferential surface of the base part 31 shaped like the cylinder, so that a circumference of a tip end of the protruding part 32 may also be provided to be curved.

When a user makes up the eyelashes, the user coats the tip member 30 with an appropriate amount of cosmetic liquid and then uses the tip member 30 while rotating the tip member 30. In the tip member 30 according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the circumference of the protruding part 32 is provided to be curved, so that there is no angled part around the periphery, thereby not irritating the eyes during makeup and thus satisfying the user's feeling during use.

The cosmetic liquid is in a cream state, and a material melted in a predetermined solvent may be used as a cream base and dye may be added to the cream base or appropriate dye that is melted in fat and oil may be used. Further, in order to decrease surface tension, a solution with a constant viscosity prepared by including the small amount of wetting agent may be used. Accordingly, the cosmetic liquid may be applied without flowing on the eyelashes.

As described above, the cosmetic liquid has viscosity, so that the cosmetic liquid is supported between the protruding parts 32 of the tip member 30 made of the metal material, so that the amount of cosmetic liquid applied to the eyelashes may be constant and an excellent curling effect may be exhibited.

In the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, it is described that the base part 31 of the tip member 30 made of the metal material is provided in the shape of the cylinder, and the protruding part 32 is gradually shortened at the tip end side of the base part 31, but the present invention is not limited thereto. It is a matter of course that the shape of the base part 31 and the shape, the length, the viscosity, and the like of the protruding part 32 may be variously formed. Accordingly, the tip member 30 may be variously manufactured according to a need of a user.

FIG. 2A is a diagram illustrating mascara according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2B is a diagram of a tip member of FIG. 2A viewed from the front side, and FIG. 2C is a diagram of the tip member of FIG. 2A viewed from a tip end side.

Referring to FIG. 2A to FIG. 2C, the mascara according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include a tip member 40, and the tip member 40 may include a base part 41 and protruding parts 42. In this case, the base part 41 may be provided with different circumferences in a longitudinal direction. That is, the base part 41 may be provided with a concave middle region in a longitudinal direction so as to suit the shape of the eye.

As described above, in the mascara according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the base part 41 of the tip member 40 is formed to be curved so as to correspond to the shapes of the regions in which root portions of the eyelashes are located, so that the tip member 40 may reach up to the deep root portions of the eyelashes to enhance a curling effect and enable the user to more easily make up the eyelashes.

In addition, as illustrated in FIG. 2C, the protruding part 42 of the tip member 40 may continuously protrude along a circumference of one region of an outer circumferential surface of the base part 41, and the plurality of protruding parts 42 may be provided in the longitudinal direction of the base part 41. Further, the protruding part 42 may protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the base part 41 with a predetermined length.

Referring to FIG. 2B, a gap A between the protruding parts 42 may be 0.1 to 0.7 mm, and a width B of the protruding part 42 may be 0.1 to 0.6 mm, and a length C of the protruding part 42 protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the base part 41 may be 0.1 to 0.9 mm. In the foregoing ranges, the gap A between the protruding parts 42 may be formed to be narrower or wider, the width B of the protruding part 42 may be formed to be smaller or larger, and the length C of the protruding part 42 may be formed to be smaller or larger. Herein, the tip member 40 is made of a metal material, so that the tip member 40 may be formed in various forms, and accordingly, it is possible to produce various makeup effects and improve durability.

As described above, by the various gaps A between the protruding parts 42, the various widths B of the protruding part 42, and the various lengths C of the protruding part 42, it is possible to prevent the clumping of the eyelashes, make the amount of cosmetic liquid applied be constant, and maximize a curling effect.

However, the gap A between the protruding parts, the width B of the protruding part 42, and the length C of the protruding part 42 are not limited thereto, and may be variously designed as a matter of course. Further, the shape of the base part 41 or the shape, the length, and density of the protruding part 42 are not limited thereto, and the base part 41 and the protruding part 42 may be variously provided so as to prevent the clumping of the eyelashes and exhibit the curling effect as a matter of course.

FIG. 3A to FIG. 3E are diagrams illustrating various cross-section shapes of the protruding part in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 3A to FIG. 3E, the protruding part 32 of the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention may be provided with various cross-section shapes. The protruding part 32 may be provided in a quadrangular shape as illustrated in FIG. 3A, may be provided in a shape, which is inclined to one side, so that a tip end is sharp as illustrated in FIG. 3B, and may be provided in a shape, which is inclined so that a tip end of a middle region is formed to be sharp as illustrated in FIG. 3C. Further, the protruding part 32 may also be provided in a trapezoid shape as illustrated in FIG. 3D, or may also be provided in a round shape as illustrated in FIG. 3E.

As described above, the tip end side of the protruding part 32 may have various cross-section shapes, and is not limited to the exemplary embodiment, and various makeup effects may be exhibited according to the various shapes of the cross-section of the tip end side of the protruding part 32. The protruding part 32 of FIG. 3A or FIG. 3 D may more strongly support the eyelashes, the protruding part 32 of FIG. 3B or FIG. 3C may more easily reach up to the root portions of the eyelashes to improve the makeup effect, and the protruding part 32 of FIG. 3E may more naturally exhibit the curling effect of the eyelashes by the round shape.

FIG. 4A to FIG. 5B are diagrams illustrating the protruding part formed in the base part in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

First, referring to FIG. 4A and FIG. 4D, a tip member 130 may include a base part 131 shaped like a cylinder, and protruding parts 132 discontinuously protruding along a circumference of one region of an outer circumferential surface of the base part 131. Further, the plurality of protruding parts 132 may be provided in the longitudinal direction of the base part 131. In this case, the protruding part 132 discontinuously protrudes along the circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part 131, so that the base part 131 may have a portion in which the protruding part 132 is not formed in a longitudinal direction.

That is, a part of the base part 131 may be exposed in the longitudinal direction, and the base part 131 may have a region, in which the protruding part 132 is not formed, at the left side of the base part 131 when viewed from the tip end side of the tip member 130 as illustrated in FIG. 4D. FIG. 4A is the form of the tip member 130 viewed from the front side, and FIG. 4B and FIG. 4C are the forms of the tip member 130 viewed from the left side and the right side.

Referring to FIG. 4A, when viewed from the front side, the protruding part 132 does not protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the base part 131 at the left side of the base part 131, and the protruding part 132 may protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the base part 131 at the right side of the base part 131. Then, referring to FIG. 4B, the protruding part 132 may not be formed on the outer circumferential surface of the base part 131 located at the left side. Further, referring to FIG. 4C, the protruding parts 132 may be densely formed on the outer circumferential surface of the base part 131 located at the left side.

Then, referring to FIG. 5A to FIG. 5C, a tip member 230 may include a base part 231 shaped like a cylinder, and protruding parts 232 discontinuously protruding in a circumference of one region of an outer circumferential surface of the base part 231. That is, the base part 231 may have a portion in which the protruding part 232 is not formed in a longitudinal direction.

A part of the base part 231 may be exposed in the longitudinal direction, and the base part 231 may have regions, in which the protruding parts 232 are not formed, at the left side and the right side of the base part 231, when viewed from the tip end side of the tip member 230 as illustrated in FIG. 5C. That is, the protruding parts 232 may protrude from the upper side and the lower side of the base part 231. FIG. 5A is the form of the tip member 230 viewed from the front side, and FIG. 5B is the form of the tip member 230 viewed from the left side or the right side.

Referring to FIG. 5A, when viewed from the front side, the protruding part 232 protrudes only on the outer circumferential surface of the base part 231, and the protruding part 232 may not protrude from the left side or the right side of the base part 231. Then, referring to FIG. 5B, the protruding part 232 is not formed on the outer circumferential surface of the base part 231 located at the left side or the right side, and the protruding protruding part 132 may protrude toward both sides when viewed from the front side.

As described above, according to FIG. 4A to FIG. 5C, the tip members 130 and 230 may have the regions in which the protruding parts 132 and 232 are not formed along the circumferences of the outer circumferential surfaces of the base parts 131 and 231. Accordingly, when the cosmetic liquid is applied to the eyelashes, the regions in which the protruding parts 132 and 232 are not formed do not interfere with other regions around the eye, thereby preventing portions other than the eyelashes from being coated with mascara liquid.

FIG. 6A to FIG. 6F are diagrams illustrating various shapes of tip members in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

A tip member 330 of FIG. 6A may include a base part 331 shaped like a cylinder, and protruding parts 332 protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part 331 with different lengths. The protruding part 332 located in a middle region in a longitudinal direction of the base part 331 may be formed to be longest, and the protruding parts 332 may be formed to be gradually shortened toward both tip ends.

A tip member 430 of FIG. 6B has a pillar shape in which a base part 431 is gradually thin toward a tip end, and a protruding part 432 may be formed so that a protruding length from an outer circumferential surface of the base part 431 is gradually increased toward the tip end. Accordingly, tip ends of the protruding parts 432 may be identically located in a longitudinal direction of the base part 431.

That is, the tip end of the tip member 430 may be used at the time of the makeup of root portions of the eyelashes, and the tip member 430 located at the brush rod 20 side (see FIG. 1) may be used at the time of the makeup of the end portions of the eyelashes. As described above, the portion to be used of the tip member 430 may be varied according to a need.

In a tip member 530 of FIG. 6C, a base part 531 is shaped like a cylinder, and a gap between protruding parts 532 located at the brush rod 20 side may be narrower than a gap between the protruding parts 532 located at a tip end of the base part 531. Accordingly, the amount of cosmetic liquid applied may be different, so that both ends may be selectively used as necessary.

In a tip member 630 of FIG. 6D, a base part 631 is shaped like a cylinder, and a protruding part 632 may not be formed at the left side of the base part 631, and may be formed only at the right side of the base part 631 (see FIG. 4).

Further, a tip member 730 of FIG. 6E may be provided shorter than other tip members, and gaps between protruding parts 732 protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part 731 may be different. That is, on the contrary to FIG. 6C, the gap between protruding parts 732 located at a tip end of the base part 731 may be narrower than a gap between the protruding parts 732 located at the brush rod 20 side. Accordingly, the amount of cosmetic liquid applied may be different.

Along with this, protruding lengths of the protruding parts 732 located at the tip end of the base part 731 are different in a longitudinal direction of the base part 731, so that it is possible to easily make up the eyelashes by using different portions at the time of the makeup of the root portions or the end portions of the eyelashes.

Referring to FIG. 6F, a tip member 830 may be provided to be bent in one direction. That is, a base part 831 may be bent according to a shape of the eye, and protruding parts 832 may protrude from an outer circumferential surface of the bent base part 831. Accordingly, it is possible to more conveniently coat the eyelashes with cosmetic liquid.

As described above, it is possible to implement various makeup effects by providing various tip members 330 430, 530, 630, 730, and 830, and thus a user may conveniently select and use the tip members 330 430, 530, 630, 730, and 830 according to a desired effect of the user, thereby providing the user with satisfaction.

However, in the tip members 330 430, 530, 630, 730, and 830, the gaps, the lengths, the thicknesses, the forms of the protruding parts, the bent degrees and the thicknesses of the base parts, and the like are not limited thereto, and may be variously changed.

FIG. 7A to FIG. 9B are diagrams illustrating various methods of assembling a brush rod and the tip member in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

In the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the tip member 30 made of the metal material may be combined with one end of the brush rod 20. Herein, the brush rod 20 may be provided with a metal material, and in this case, the brush rod 20 and the tip member 30 may be integrally formed. Accordingly, a process of assembling the brush rod 20 and the tip member 30 is not necessary, thereby decreasing a manufacturing process and cost.

Hereinafter, the brush rod 20 is formed of a metal material or a nonmetal material, and various methods of combining the tip member 30 to the brush rod 20 when the brush rod 20 and the tip member 30 are separated types will be described.

Referring to FIG. 7A and FIG. 7B, the brush rod 20 may be provided with a through-hole 21 at one end with which the tip member 30 is combined. Then, the base part 31 of the tip member 30 may be further provided with an insertion part 33 which is extended toward the brush rod 20 and is inserted into the through-hole 21.

In this case, a first screw thread 22 may be provided on an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole 21, and a second screw thread 34 may be provided on an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part 33 so as to correspond to the first screw thread 22. Accordingly, by the screw-engagement in which the second screw thread 34 of the insertion part 33 is engaged with the first screw thread 22 of the through-hole 21 while rotating, the tip member 30 may be firmly coupled to the brush rod 20.

Then, referring to FIG. 8A and FIG. 8B, a bump 23 may be provided in one region of the inner circumferential surface of the through-hole 21 of one end of the brush rod 20, and an undercut 35 may be provided at a location corresponding to the bump 23 on the outer circumferential surface of the insertion part 33, which is extended from the base part 31 toward the through-hole 21. Accordingly, when the insertion part 33 is inserted into the through-hole 21, the bump 23 is inserted into the undercut 35, so that the tip member 30 may be coupled to the brush rod 20.

Further, referring to FIG. 9A and FIG. 9B, the inner circumferential surface of the through-hole 21 provided at one end of the brush rod 20 is provided to be the same as or slightly smaller than the outer circumferential surface of the insertion part 33 provided in the tip member 30, so that the insertion part 33 is forcibly fitted to the through-hole 21 to combine the tip member 30 and the brush rod 20.

As described above, the insertion part may be coupled to the brush rod 20 by various methods, and the combination method is not limited to the exemplary embodiment.

FIG. 10A to FIG. 10C are diagrams illustrating the tip member, of which an angle is adjusted, in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 10A and FIG. 10B, the through-hole 21 may be provided at one end of the brush rod 20, and the base part 31 of the tip member 30 may be further provided with the insertion part 33, which is extended toward the brush rod 20 and is inserted into the through-hole 21. In this case, the insertion part 33 may be provided in a spherical shape, and thus, when the insertion part 33 is inserted into the through-hole 21, the tip member 30 may be coupled to the brush rod 20 so as to be rotatable with various angles with respect to the brush rod 20.

Herein, the insertion part 33 of the tip member 30 may also be forcibly fitted to the through-hole 21, but may be deviated from the through-hole 21 during the rotation, so that in order to prevent the deviation of the insertion part 33, the brush rod 20 may further have a bent portion 24, which is bent and extended inwardly, at the tip end thereof as illustrated in FIG. 10A and FIG. 10B. Accordingly, the spherical insertion part 33 may not fall out of the through-hole 21 while freely rotating within the through-hole 21.

In FIG. 10C, in order to prevent the insertion part 33 from deviating from the through-hole 21, a cover member 60 may be provided. The cover member 60 may have a shape surrounding the insertion part 33 together with the tip end of the brush rod 20. In this case, the cover member 60 may be provided with an insertion hole 61 so that an upper side of the insertion part 33 of the tip member 30 may pass through.

As described above, it is possible to adjust an angle of the tip member 30 in various directions by forming the insertion part 33 in the spherical shape and using the insertion part 33 as a hinge axis, so that a user may adjust the tip member with a desired angle and more conveniently make up at the time of the makeup of the eyelashes.

FIG. 11A to FIG. 11C are diagrams illustrating states in which the tip member moves to an internal side and an external side of the brush rod in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 11A to FIG. 11C, an elastic member 70 may be located in the through-hole 21 provided at one end of the brush rod 20. Further, in order to prevent the elastic member 70 from deviating to the external side of the through-hole 21, the brush rod 20 may further have the bent portion 24, which is bent and extended inwardly, at the tip end thereof. Further, in order to enable the tip member 30 to move to the internal side and the external side of the through-hole 21 by elastic force of the elastic member 70, the tip member 30 may further include a plate member 37 having the same size as that of the inner circumferential surface of the through-hole 21 at one side that is in contact with the elastic member 70.

Accordingly, as illustrated in FIG. 11A, when the tip member 30 is not located at the injection hole 51 side of the container main body 50 and force is not applied to the tip end side of the tip member 30, the elastic member 70 is extended in a state where the maximum elastic force is generated and is located inside the through-hole 21, and the plate member 37 of the tip member 30 maintains the state of being in contact with the bent portion 24 at the tip end of the through-hole 21. Accordingly, the tip member 30 may be located at the external side of the through-hole 21.

Further, referring to FIG. 11B, when the tip end of the tip member 30 is in contact with a bottom surface of the inner side of the container main body 50, the tip member 30 may be inserted into the through-hole 21 little by little while the elastic member 70 starts to be contracted. Then, as illustrated in FIG. 11B, when the handle 10 is coupled to the container main body 50, the tip member 30 may be completely inserted into the through-hole 21, and the elastic member 70 may be maximally contracted.

As described above, the elastic member 70 is provided in the through-hole 21 formed at one end of the brush rod 20, so that the tip member 30 is movable to the internal side and the external side of the through hole 21 by the elastic force. Accordingly, when the handle 10 is detached from the container main body 50 for the makeup of the eyelashes, the tip member 30 may come out from the through-hole 21 of the brush rod 20, and when the handle 10 is coupled to the container main body 50 for storage, the tip member 30 may enter into the through-hole 21 of the brush rod 20.

That is, the length of the brush rod 20 is adjustable by the elastic member 70, so that it is possible to elongate and use the brush rod at the time of the makeup, and the tip member 30 is inserted in to the through-hole 21 at the time of the storage, so that it is possible to prevent the cosmetic liquid from being excessively applied to the tip member 30 and being hardened. As described above, according to the present exemplary embodiment, it is possible to improve usability of mascara.

Herein, the container main body 50 may further include a packing member 52 inside the insertion hole 51. The packing member 52 may prevent the cosmetic liquid from leaking between the container main body 50 and the tip member 30 and appropriately adjust the amount of cosmetic liquid coated on the tip member 30. Accordingly, the packing member 52 shakes off a certain amount of cosmetic liquid coated on the tip member 30 when the tip member 30 is withdrawn from the container main body 50 and enables the application of an appropriate amount of cosmetic liquid to the eyelashes, thereby providing the effective eyelash makeup effect.

FIG. 12A and FIG. 12B are diagrams illustrating states in which various members are combined to the tip end of the tip member in the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 12A and FIG. 12B, in the tip member 30 made of the metal material of the present invention, a separate brush member may be additionally combined with the tip end of the tip member 30 and be used.

First, referring to FIG. 12A, an eyeliner brush 83 having a brush form may be combined with the tip end of the tip member 30. By the eyeliner brush 83, a user may make up the eyelashes with the tip member 30 made of the metal material, and draw an eye line with the eyeliner brush 83 provided at the tip end of the tip member 30. Further, the tip member 30 and the eyeliner brush 83 are formed of different materials, so that it is possible to minimize the phenomenon in which the cosmetic liquid is mixed or the agglomerated cosmetic liquid is caught in the tip member 30.

Referring to FIG. 12B, a second brush member 80 may be combined with the tip end of the tip member 30. Herein, the second brush member 80 may be formed by interposing a brush hair 82 having a predetermined length between two strands of wires 81 and twisting the brush hair 82 and the wires 81 in a screw type by a predetermined number of times. In this case, the second brush member 80 may have various forms, in which a cross-section of the second brush member 80 is shaped like a circle, a triangle, or a fan, based on an axis of the wire 81 at the center. Further, the brush member 82 may include at least one selected from the group consisting of nylon, cotton, and elastomer.

In the second brush member 80, the brush hairs 82 are spun in a screw type by the twist of the wires 81, and the large amount of cosmetic liquid is accommodated between the brush hairs 82, thereby giving a volume effect to the eyelashes. Accordingly, it is possible to produce the eyelashes in abundance by using the second brush member 80, and it is possible to remove an agglomerated portion and strongly support the eyelashes by using the tip member 30 made of the metal material to produce a curling effect together. As described above, the tip member 30 and the second brush member 80 give different makeup effects, thereby satisfying various demands of the user.

As illustrated in FIG. 12A and FIG. 12B, the brush member combined with the tip end of the tip member 30 may be combined by the method described above with reference to FIG. 7A to FIG. 10C, and may also be more firmly combined through additional fusion and the like. As described above, as the tip member 30 and the brush member are firmly combined with each other, the binding force becomes stronger, so that it is possible to improve reliability of the mascara formed of different materials.

Like the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the tip member 30 is made of the metal material, even though a cosmetic liquid is agglomerated in the tip member 30, it is easy to clean the tip member 30, and even though the tip member 30 is made of heterogeneous materials like FIG. 12A and FIG. 12B, a problem in that the cosmetic liquid is mixed is little and a user may feel a variety of feelings during use, so that the present invention may satisfy the user.

In the foregoing, the present invention has been described in detail through the particular exemplary embodiments, but the particular exemplary embodiments are for the purpose of describing the present invention in detail, and the present invention is not limited thereto, and it is apparent that those skilled in the art may make a modification or an improvement thereof within the technical spirit of the present invention.

All of the simple modifications or changes of the present invention belong to the scope of the range of the present invention, and the specific scope of the present invention may be apparent by the accompanying claims.

Claims

1. Mascara comprising:

a handle;
a brush rod extended from one side of the handle; and
a tip member provided at one end of the brush rod,
wherein the tip member includes a base part shaped like a pillar, and a plurality of protruding parts protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part, and the base part and the protruding part are made of a metal material.

2. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the base part and the protruding parts are integrally provided.

3. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the protruding part continuously or discontinuously protrudes along a circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part, and a plurality of protruding parts is provided in a longitudinal direction of the base part.

4. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the protruding parts are provided so that protruding lengths from the outer circumferential surface of the base part are different.

5. The mascara of claim 4, wherein the protruding part is provided so that a length is gradually decreased at a tip end side of the base part.

6. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the base part is provided so that a circumference is different in a longitudinal direction.

7. The mascara of claim 6, wherein the base part is provided so that a middle region is concave in the longitudinal direction.

8. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the tip member is provided so as to be bent toward one direction.

9. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the brush rod is made of a metal material.

10. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the brush rod further includes a through-hole at one end of the brush rod.

11. The mascara of claim 10, wherein the base part of the tip member further includes an insertion part which is extended toward the brush rod and is coupled to the through-hole.

12. The mascara of claim 11, wherein a first screw thread is provided on an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, and a second screw thread corresponding to the first screw thread is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member is coupled to the brush rod by a screw-engagement.

13. The mascara of claim 11, wherein a bump is provided in one region of an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, and an undercut is provided at a location corresponding to the bump in an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member is coupled to the brush rod by the insertion of the bump into the undercut.

14. The mascara of claim 11, wherein an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole is provided to be the same as or smaller than an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member is coupled to the brush rod by forcible fitting of the insertion part to the through-hole.

15. The mascara of claim 11, wherein the insertion part is provided in a spherical shape and is inserted into the through-hole, so that the tip member is rotatably coupled to the brush rod.

16. The mascara of claim 15, wherein the brush rod further includes a bent portion, in which a tip end is bent and extended inwardly.

17. The mascara of claim 15, further comprising:

a cover member configured to surround the insertion part together with the tip end of the brush rod.

18. The mascara of claim 10, wherein an elastic member is provided in the through-hole, so that the tip member is movable to an inner side and an external side of the through-hole by elastic force of the elastic member.

19. The mascara of claim 18, wherein the brush rod further includes a bent portion, in which a tip end is bent and extended inwardly.

20. The mascara of claim 19, wherein the tip member is located at an inner side of the bent portion and further includes a plate member having the same size as a size of an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole at one side that is in contact with the elastic member.

21. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the tip member is additionally combined with a brush member at a tip end.

22. The mascara of claim 21, wherein the brush member has a brush form or a form in which a brush hair is wound around a wire.

23. The mascara of claim 22, wherein the brush hair includes at least one selected from the group consisting of nylon, cotton, and elastomer.
