The present invention relates to mascara, and more particularly, to mascara with improved hygienic properties and durability.
BACKGROUND ARTIn general, mascara is a tool provided for the makeup of eyelashes, and is used to apply mascara liquid of various colors to the eyelashes so that the eyelashes can be outlined by more smoothly and firmly emphasizing the eyelashes.
The mascara generally includes a container main body in which mascara liquid is accommodated, a handle for opening and closing the container main body, a brush rod protruding downward from the handle and having a rod shape, and a brush formed in the brush rod. For the mascara having the foregoing structure, it is common to coat the brush with an appropriate amount of mascara liquid by combining or detaching the handle and the container main body and then use the mascara while rotating the brush.
Especially, the brush is made to suit a variety of functions, such as volume (the effect of making eyelashes look rich), curl (the effect of rolling the ends of eyelashes upward), long lash (the effect of making eyelashes look longer), and clean (the effect of preventing eyelashes from clumping), for the eyelashes, depending on the length and the shape of the hair.
The mascara brush exhibiting the foregoing function is a tool for the makeup of the eyelashes, so that irritation needs to be minimized, mascara liquid needs to be applied well, and consumers should feel good.
Accordingly, research on a mascara brush has been actively conducted in recent years, and for example, a mascara brush, which complements or enhances each of the foregoing functions or exhibits a complex function by improving a shape or a material of the mascara brush, has been developed.
DISCLOSURE Technical ProblemThe present invention is conceived to solve the problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide mascara, in which a tip member applying cosmetic liquid is made of a metal material, so that cleansing may be easy.
Another object of the present invention is to provide mascara, in which a tip member is made of a metal material, so that it is possible to prevent deformation of a shape even in continuous use and give a visual luxury.
Another object of the present invention is to provide mascara, in which a tip member is implemented in various shapes, and which enables a user to feel a variety of feelings by combining a brush that is made of a different material from that of a tip member.
Technical SolutionMascara according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a handle; a brush rod extended from one side of the handle; and a tip member provided at one end of the brush rod, in which the tip member includes a base part shaped like a pillar, and a plurality of protruding parts protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part, and the base part and the protruding part are made of a metal material.
Particularly, the base part and the protruding parts may be integrally provided.
Particularly, the protruding part may continuously or discontinuously protrude along a circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part, and a plurality of protruding parts may be provided in a longitudinal direction of the base part.
Particularly, the protruding parts may be provided so that protruding lengths from the outer circumferential surface of the base part are different.

Advantageous EffectsIn the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member, which applies cosmetic liquid, is made of a metal material, so that it is easy to clean the tip member to be hygienic, and the amount of cosmetic liquid applied is constant to prevent the cosmetic liquid from being agglomerated and improve a curling effect.
Further, in the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member is made of the metal material, so that even during the continuous use, it is possible to prevent the tip member from being deformed to improve usability and give visual luxury and beauty.
Further, in the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member is implemented with various shapes, and the brush, which is made of a different material from that of the tip member, is coupled to the tip member made of a metal material, to give a variety of feelings, such as curling and volume, during the use, thereby improving satisfaction of a user.
Further, in the mascara according to the present invention, the tip member is made of the metal material, so that a gap between the protruding parts, a width of the protruding part, and a length of the protruding part may be variously implemented, and a tip end of the protruding part may also be formed in various forms, and it is possible to maintain durability of the tip member.
Objects, specific advantages, and new characteristics of the present invention will become more apparent from the detailed description associated with the accompanying drawings and an exemplary embodiment. It should be noted that in giving reference numerals to elements of each drawing in the present specification, like reference numerals refer to like elements even though like elements are shown in different drawings. Further, the handle 10 may be combined with or detached from the container main body 50, and may be used as a lid of the container main body 50. In this case, the brush rod 20 may be coupled and fixed to an upper surface of the internal side of the handle 10. That is, the handle 10 and the brush rod 20 may be integrally or separately manufactured.
The handle 10 forms an external appearance of the mascara together with the container main body 50, and the handle 10 may be provided with a screw thread on an inner circumferential surface thereof so as to be screw-engaged with the injection hole 51 provided in the upper portion of the container main body 50. However, the container main body 50 and the handle 10 are not limited to the opening/closing by the screw-engagement, and it is a matter of course that the container main body 50 and the handle 10 may be combined by various opening/closing possible structures in addition to the screw-engagement.
The brush rod 20 is shaped like a rod, and may be extended from the upper surface of the internal side of the handle 10 toward the container main body 50. The tip member 30 may be provided at one end of the brush rod 20, and the tip member 30 may be made of a metal material. Further, the tip member 30 may include a base part 31 shaped like a cylinder, and a plurality of protruding parts 32 protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part 31.
As described above, all of the base part 31 and the protruding parts 32 of the tip member 30 are made of the metal material, so that even though the tip member 30 is used for a long time, the tip member 30 is not deformed in a shape to achieve good durability, and the tip member 30 is easily cleaned, so that it is possible to hygienically use the tip member 30. Further, the texture of the metal may double luxury and beauty. The tip member 30 made of the metal material may prevent the clumping of the eyelashes due to a constant amount of the cosmetic liquid applied, and may provide a curling effect by being able to strongly support the eyelashes.

That is, the protruding part 32 may be provided so that a protruding length is gradually decreased at the tip end side of the base part 31. Accordingly, it is easy to put the tip member 30 in the injection hole 51 of the container main body 50 and take the tip member 30 out of the injection hole 51 of the container main body 50, so that a user may conveniently use the mascara.
Further, the protruding part 32 may continuously protrude along a circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part 31 and provided in the shape of a donut, and the plurality of protruding parts 32 may be provided in a longitudinal direction of the base part 31. As described above, the protruding parts 32 are provided along the outer circumferential surface of the base part 31 shaped like the cylinder, so that a circumference of a tip end of the protruding part 32 may also be provided to be curved.
When a user makes up the eyelashes, the user coats the tip member 30 with an appropriate amount of cosmetic liquid and then uses the tip member 30 while rotating the tip member 30. In the tip member 30 according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the circumference of the protruding part 32 is provided to be curved, so that there is no angled part around the periphery, thereby not irritating the eyes during makeup and thus satisfying the user's feeling during use.
The cosmetic liquid is in a cream state, and a material melted in a predetermined solvent may be used as a cream base and dye may be added to the cream base or appropriate dye that is melted in fat and oil may be used. Further, in order to decrease surface tension, a solution with a constant viscosity prepared by including the small amount of wetting agent may be used. Accordingly, the cosmetic liquid may be applied without flowing on the eyelashes.
As described above, the cosmetic liquid has viscosity, so that the cosmetic liquid is supported between the protruding parts 32 of the tip member 30 made of the metal material, so that the amount of cosmetic liquid applied to the eyelashes may be constant and an excellent curling effect may be exhibited.
In the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, it is described that the base part 31 of the tip member 30 made of the metal material is provided in the shape of the cylinder, and the protruding part 32 is gradually shortened at the tip end side of the base part 31, but the present invention is not limited thereto. It is a matter of course that the shape of the base part 31 and the shape, the length, the viscosity, and the like of the protruding part 32 may be variously formed. Accordingly, the tip member 30 may be variously manufactured according to a need of a user.

As described above, in the mascara according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the base part 41 of the tip member 40 is formed to be curved so as to correspond to the shapes of the regions in which root portions of the eyelashes are located, so that the tip member 40 may reach up to the deep root portions of the eyelashes to enhance a curling effect and enable the user to more easily make up the eyelashes.

In the mascara according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the tip member 30 made of the metal material may be combined with one end of the brush rod 20. Herein, the brush rod 20 may be provided with a metal material, and in this case, the brush rod 20 and the tip member 30 may be integrally formed. Accordingly, a process of assembling the brush rod 20 and the tip member 30 is not necessary, thereby decreasing a manufacturing process and cost.

That is, the length of the brush rod 20 is adjustable by the elastic member 70, so that it is possible to elongate and use the brush rod at the time of the makeup, and the tip member 30 is inserted in to the through-hole 21 at the time of the storage, so that it is possible to prevent the cosmetic liquid from being excessively applied to the tip member 30 and being hardened. As described above, according to the present exemplary embodiment, it is possible to improve usability of mascara.
Herein, the container main body 50 may further include a packing member 52 inside the insertion hole 51. The packing member 52 may prevent the cosmetic liquid from leaking between the container main body 50 and the tip member 30 and appropriately adjust the amount of cosmetic liquid coated on the tip member 30. Accordingly, the packing member 52 shakes off a certain amount of cosmetic liquid coated on the tip member 30 when the tip member 30 is withdrawn from the container main body 50 and enables the application of an appropriate amount of cosmetic liquid to the eyelashes, thereby providing the effective eyelash makeup effect.

In the second brush member 80, the brush hairs 82 are spun in a screw type by the twist of the wires 81, and the large amount of cosmetic liquid is accommodated between the brush hairs 82, thereby giving a volume effect to the eyelashes. Claims
1. Mascara comprising:
- a handle;
- a brush rod extended from one side of the handle; and
- a tip member provided at one end of the brush rod,
- wherein the tip member includes a base part shaped like a pillar, and a plurality of protruding parts protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the base part, and the base part and the protruding part are made of a metal material.
2. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the base part and the protruding parts are integrally provided.
3. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the protruding part continuously or discontinuously protrudes along a circumference of one region of the outer circumferential surface of the base part, and a plurality of protruding parts is provided in a longitudinal direction of the base part.
4. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the protruding parts are provided so that protruding lengths from the outer circumferential surface of the base part are different.
5. The mascara of claim 4, wherein the protruding part is provided so that a length is gradually decreased at a tip end side of the base part.
6. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the base part is provided so that a circumference is different in a longitudinal direction.
7. The mascara of claim 6, wherein the base part is provided so that a middle region is concave in the longitudinal direction.
8. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the tip member is provided so as to be bent toward one direction.
9. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the brush rod is made of a metal material.
10. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the brush rod further includes a through-hole at one end of the brush rod.
11. The mascara of claim 10, wherein the base part of the tip member further includes an insertion part which is extended toward the brush rod and is coupled to the through-hole.

The mascara of claim 11, wherein a first screw thread is provided on an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, and a second screw thread corresponding to the first screw thread is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member is coupled to the brush rod by a screw-engagement.
13. The mascara of claim 11, wherein a bump is provided in one region of an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, and an undercut is provided at a location corresponding to the bump in an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member is coupled to the brush rod by the insertion of the bump into the undercut.
14. The mascara of claim 11, wherein an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole is provided to be the same as or smaller than an outer circumferential surface of the insertion part, so that the tip member is coupled to the brush rod by forcible fitting of the insertion part to the through-hole.
15. The mascara of claim 11, wherein the insertion part is provided in a spherical shape and is inserted into the through-hole, so that the tip member is rotatably coupled to the brush rod.
16. The mascara of claim 15, wherein the brush rod further includes a bent portion, in which a tip end is bent and extended inwardly.
17. The mascara of claim 15, further comprising:
- a cover member configured to surround the insertion part together with the tip end of the brush rod.
18. The mascara of claim 10, wherein an elastic member is provided in the through-hole, so that the tip member is movable to an inner side and an external side of the through-hole by elastic force of the elastic member.
19. The mascara of claim 18, wherein the brush rod further includes a bent portion, in which a tip end is bent and extended inwardly.
20. The mascara of claim 19, wherein the tip member is located at an inner side of the bent portion and further includes a plate member having the same size as a size of an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole at one side that is in contact with the elastic member.
21. The mascara of claim 1, wherein the tip member is additionally combined with a brush member at a tip end.
22. The mascara of claim 21, wherein the brush member has a brush form or a form in which a brush hair is wound around a wire.
23. The mascara of claim 22, wherein the brush hair includes at least one selected from the group consisting of nylon, cotton, and elastomer.
