Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a hairpiece, and its hair extension structure and hair extension method, in particular to the hairpiece, hair extension structure and hair extension method capable of connecting the hairpiece to a root position of a user's real-hair bundle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Nowadays, people often have hair extensions on their hair, and the hairpiece is generally adhered to the root position of the inner side of the user's real hair by a pasting, snapping, or braiding structure in order to change the color, length, abundance, and styling of the hair and to avoid the damage and risk of hair dyeing and perming.

Among a wide variety of conventional hairpieces, the most common one is a pasted type hairpiece, which uses an artificial fiber or rayon as fake hair, and a plurality of fake hairs is arranged into a hair bundle, and a plurality of hair bundles is arranged and combined altogether, and then upper ends of the hair bundles are braided or adhered with each other, so that the upper ends of the hair bundles of the hairpiece will not be separated, and a double-sided adhesive tape is pre-glued onto a side near the upper end of the hairpiece, and the double-sided adhesive tape has a side adhered to the hairpiece and the other side adhered a root position of a user's real hair, and then other real hairs are covered onto the hairpiece so as to complete a hair extension by the hairpiece. However, such conventional hairpiece has the drawbacks of falling off easily and leading to discomfort. At present, the more natural hair extension method generally adopts the method of braiding or clamping the fake-hair bundles, but this method just braid or clamp a small number of fake-hair bundles only, so that it takes much time for the hair extension operation and also incurs a very high fees for the hair extension.

In most of the conventional hair extension technologies, a hair stylist freely grabs a real hair bundle to carry out the hair extension based on the hair stylist's personal intuition, and then decides whether or not to further continue the hair extension, so that the hair stylish does not perform the hair extension according to the user's head circumference, hair volume, hair diameter and hair density. As a result, non-uniformity or asymmetry may occur after the hair extension is completed. In addition, the weight of the fake-hair bundle withstood by each person's real hair varies. For people with thick hair and dense hair follicles, the fake-hair bundles may be attached to less real hair; and for people with fine hair and scattered hair follicles, more fake-hair bundles must be attached to more real hair, or else the real hair has to withstand the heavy weight of the fake-hair bundles. As a result, the real hair may break or fall off easily when being pulled.

The present invention intends to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art by providing a method of quickly connecting the fake-hair bundles onto the user's real hair at a time based on the user's head circumference, so that the user will have an appropriate hair volume after the hair extension is completed, and the real hair will not be broken or fallen off easily, and the hair extension can be connected quickly and securely to the connecting structure.

The hair extension method of the hairpiece of the present invention is based on the aforementioned hairpiece structure and a hair extension can be achieved by this method which comprises the following steps:

Step (a): In FIG. 4, a head caliper 40 is used to measure a head circumference of a user in a hair extension range A1 of a row, wherein the head caliper 40 is a soft tape measure, and the head caliper 40 measures the head circumference in a first-row hair extension range A1 from positions approximately 2˜3 cm above both ears of the user and transversally around the back of the user's head; when the head circumference in the first-row hair extension range A1 is 35˜40 cm, it means that the user has a large head, so that the hair extension spacing B2 can be larger; when the head circumference in the first-row hair extension range A1 is 28˜35 cm, it means that the user has a medium sized head, so that the hair extension spacing B2 can be controlled to be moderate; when the head circumference in the first-row hair extension range A1 is smaller than 28 cm, it means that the user has a small head, so that the hair extension spacing B2 must be reduced. By the aforementioned measurement of the head circumference, the required hair volume can be estimated in order to apply a suitable amount of hairpieces to the user's head.

Step (b): A plurality of equal-division marks B1 is marked in the hair extension range of the row based on the head circumference measured in the step (a) by using a calibration of the head caliper. In other words, when the head circumference in the first-row hair extension range A1 is 35˜40 cm, each of the equal-division marks B1 has a spacing B2 of 1 cm; when the head circumference in the first-row hair extension range A1 is 28˜35 cm, each of the equal-division marks B1 has a spacing B2 of 0.8 cm; when the head circumference in the first-row hair extension range A1 is smaller than 28 cm, each of the equal-division marks B1 has a spacing B2 of 0.6 cm; and the equal-division marks B1 are pigments (such as water-based or oil-based ink) dotted onto the user's scalp in order to pre-set the positions for the hair extension.

Step (c): In FIG. 2, a real-hair bundle 100 at the spacing B between two adjacent equal-division marks B1 in the hair extension range A1 is grabbed, and combed, and then coupled to a hairpiece, so that the hairpieces of each row have a spacing B2 (as shown in FIG. 6).

Step (d): In FIGS. 2 and 3, the fixing strip 10 and the thermosetting adhesive layer 30 of the hairpiece are folded altogether, so that the thermosetting adhesive layer 30 covers both upper and lower sides of the real-hair bundle 100, and each hairpiece has an equal-division mark B1.

Step (e): A heater is used to heat the fixing strip and the thermosetting adhesive layer, so that after the thermosetting adhesive layer is melted, and then solidified, the thermosetting adhesive layer is fixed to the real-hair bundle, wherein the heater is a conventional ultrasonic heater.

Step (f): In FIG. 5, the steps (b) to (e) are repeated for the plurality of hair extension ranges A2˜A14 of each row disposed at a spacing below the hair extension range A1 of the row after the hair extension is completed, wherein there are a total of 14 rows in this embodiment, and the hair extension steps are repeated until the hair extension of all these 14 rows is completed. In FIGS. 5 and 6, the equal-division marks B1 in the hair extension range A1˜A14 of each row and the equal-division marks B1 in the hair extension range A of the row above or below are situated at staggered positions with respect to each other, so that the hairpieces are arranged in a staggered shape and coupled to each real-hair bundle of the user's hair.

The aforementioned positions for the hair extension include four rows on each of the left and right sides of the user's head, and 14 rows (A1˜A14) at the back of the user's head. Among the 14 rows at the back of the user's head, the first-row hair extension range A1 preferably has 14 equal-division marks B1, the second-row hair extension range A2 preferably has 13 equal-division marks B1, the third-row hair extension range A3 preferably has 12 equal-division marks B1, and so on and so forth.
