DRAINAGE DEVICE
The present invention discloses a of drainage device comprising a drainage device main body, a filter, a seal member and a fixing member, characterized in that, several protrusions are provided in equal interval around an outer circumferential surface of the drainage device main body. The fixing member is a circular ring that corresponds in shape with the drainage device main body. An annular groove is provided along a circumference of a back side of the circular ring. Notches in number corresponding to that of the protrusions are provided in equal interval around an inner circumferential surface of the circular ring. Several locking slots each in shape of an arc and continuously arranged one by one in the same direction are provided around the inner circumferential surface of the circular ring along each of the notches. Several self-locking pins are also provided on the circular ring. The drainage device according to the present invention changes the traditional way of installing a drainage device by threaded connection; instead, it utilizes locking connection attainable by coordination between protrusions, locking slots and self-locking pins and such connection is high in reliability, simple to assemble and convenient to disassemble.
The present invention relates to sanitary wares and more particularly pertains to a drainage device used on a washing basin.
A common washing basin (such as a vegetable washing basin used in a kitchen) is provided with a drainage hole in the middle of the basin. A drainage device (drainer) is sealingly installed inside the drainage hole and it is also sealingly connected to a drainage pipe. Sealing between the drainage device and the drainage hole is very important, otherwise, waste water in the basin would leak out easily. In the prior art, installation of a drainage device is generally attained by threaded connection: outer screw threads are provided around the drainage device's outer surface while inner screw threads are provided on a fixing member of the drainage device, and by fitting a seal member such as a seal ring, sealed installation would be attained. However, a drainage device installed in this way would get loose easily during the course of use, thereby causing problems such as leakage.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the aforesaid disadvantages now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a structurally improved drainage device which attains sealed connection between a drainage device and a drainage hole and which is also high in reliability and convenient to install.
Accordingly, the present invention adopts the following technical proposal: A drainage device which comprises a drainage device main body, a filter, a seal member and a fixing member, characterized in that, several protrusions are provided in equal interval around an outer circumferential surface of the drainage device main body.
Each of the protrusions is in shape of a water droplet.
The locking slots provided along each of the notches are three in number and they extend from an edge of the corresponding notch to a bottom edge of the inner circumferential surface of the circular ring and are arranged in an oblique line.
The protrusions and the notches are both three in number.
The self-locking pins are three in number.
The drainage device according to the present invention changes the traditional way of installing a drainage device by threaded connection; instead, it utilizes locking connection attainable by coordination between protrusions, locking slots and self-locking pins and such connection is high in reliability, simple to assemble and convenient to disassemble.
A preferred embodiment of the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. For the parts of the present invention which are technically the same as the prior art, reference is drawn to the prior art.
As shown in
As shown in
Since each of the notches 51 is provided with several locking slots 52 continuously arranged one by one in an oblique line, a suitable locking slot could be selected during use according to the width of a gap between the drainage device and the drainage hole, thereby fulfilling the installation requirements pertaining to washing basins 8 with different thickness.
The present invention could have many other embodiments. A person skilled in the scope of art of the present invention could make various changes and alteration to the present invention correspondingly as long as they do not deviate from the spirit and essence of the present invention and all these corresponding changes and alteration should also fall within the scope of protection according to the claims of the present invention.
