BEDDING AND BEDDING COVER THEREFOR

Abstract

Provided are a bedding and a bedding cover therefor, the bedding including an upper cover having a first fastening member; a lower cover having a second fastening member; and a bedding insert fitted between the upper cover and the lower cover, and having a third fastening member for coupling to the upper cover and a fourth fastening member for coupling to the lower cover, the upper cover and the lower cover being coupled to each other by the first fastening member and the second fastening member, and being separated from each other by releasing the coupling between the first fastening member and the second fastening member; the upper cover further including a fifth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member; and the lower cover further including a sixth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to bedding and a bedding cover, and more particularly, to bedding and a bedding cover of a comforter, a bedsheet, a pillow, a cushion, or the like.

BACKGROUND ART

Bedding includes comforters, bedsheets, pillows, cushions, and the like and is used while taking sleep or a rest. Bedding generally includes a cover and bedding insert. A bedding insert is batting to be inserted into a cover. As batting for bedding inserts, chemical (artificial) cotton such as polyester batting, polypropylene batting, and the like and natural batting such as cotton, silk batting, wool, feathers (goose down and duck down), and the like are used. A cover is a component configured to surround an outer surface of a bedding insert to prevent the bedding insert from becoming dirty, and a zipper is attached to one side of a general pouch-shaped cover so as to allow the bedding insert to be insertable or separable.

Since a conventional bedding cover has a pouch shape capable of accommodating a bedding insert therein and upper and lower surfaces are formed integrally, when users replace a bedding cover with another in order to wash the bedding cover or to change a mood, it is necessary to separate an entirety of the bedding cover including the integrally formed upper and lower surfaces from a bedding insert and to insert the bedding insert into another bedding cover. Accordingly, it is impossible to wash the bedding cover while separating only the upper surface or lower surface, and a variety of designs and/or patterns such as forming of a bedding cover with upper and lower surfaces having different designs and/or patterns may not be matched.

DISCLOSURE

Technical Problem

The present invention is directed to providing a bedding cover and bedding in which the bedding cover is partially washable and different designs and patterns of upper and lower sides of the bedding cover are used so as to match a variety of designs or patterns.

Technical Solution

One aspect of the present invention provides a bedding cover. The bedding cover includes an upper cover including a first fastening member and a lower cover including a second fastening member couplable to the first fastening member and formed at a position corresponding to the first fastening member. Here, the upper cover and the lower cover are coupled to each other using the first fastening member and the second fastening member and are separated from each other through releasing of coupling between the first fastening member and the second fastening member.

The first fastening member may be provided on an edge portion of the upper cover, and the second fastening member may be provided on an edge portion of the lower cover.

An edge portion of the upper cover and an edge portion of the lower cover may include fabric formed of two or more stacked sheets. Also, the first fastening member and the second fastening member may be provided on fabric located on an innermost side while being coupled in two or more sheets of fabric so as not to be exposed to the outside when the upper cover and the lower cover are coupled.

The upper cover may further include a seventh fastening member which is the same type as the second fastening member, and the seventh fastening member of the upper cover may be disposed at the same position as the second fastening member of the lower cover when the upper cover is disposed as a lower cover. Also, the lower cover may further include an eighth fastening member which is the same type as the first fastening member, and the eighth fastening member of the lower cover may be disposed at the same position as the first fastening member of the upper cover when the lower cover is disposed as an upper cover. Accordingly, the upper cover and the lower cover may be used without distinction between upper and lower sides.

The first fastening member and the second fastening member may be any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

The upper cover may include a plurality of such first fastening members, and the lower cover may include a plurality of such second fastening members. One or more first fastening members may be provided on each side of the upper cover, and one or more second fastening members may be provided on each side of the lower cover. One or more first fastening members may be provided on each corner of the upper cover where two sides meet each other, and one or more second fastening member may be provided on each corner of the lower cover where two sides meet each other.

At least one of the upper cover and the lower cover may include a fastening strap couplable to a fastening ring of a bedding insert which is inserted between the upper cover and the lower cover.

Another aspect of the present invention provides bedding including the bedding cover and a bedding insert which is inserted between the upper cover and the lower cover and includes a third fastening member configured to be coupled to the upper cover and a fourth fastening member configured to be coupled to the lower cover. Here, the upper cover further includes a fifth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member and couplable to the third fastening member, and the lower cover further includes a sixth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member and couplable to the fourth fastening member.

The bedding insert may include a central portion having a first thickness and an edge portion having a thickness smaller than the first thickness and provided on an edge, and the third fastening member and the fourth fastening member may be provided on the edge portion.

The third fastening member, the fourth fastening member, the fifth fastening member, and the sixth fastening member may be arranged to allow the fifth fastening member to be couplable to the fourth fastening member and to allow the sixth fastening member to be couplable to the third fastening member even when the upper cover is coupled to a lower side of the bedding insert and the lower cover is coupled to an upper side of the bedding insert.

The third fastening member and the fifth fastening member may be any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a ring and a strap, a pair of snap buttons, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other, and the fourth fastening member and the sixth fastening member may be any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a ring and a strap, a pair of snap buttons, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

A plurality of such third fastening members, a plurality of such fourth fastening members, a plurality of such fifth fastening members, and a plurality of such sixth fastening members may be provided. One or more fifth fastening members may be provided on each side of the upper cover, and one or more sixth fastening member may be provided on each side of the lower cover.

The upper cover and the lower cover may have a polygonal shape. Here, one or more fifth fastening members may be provided on each corner of the upper cover where two sides meet each other. Also, one or more sixth fastening members may be provided on each corner of the lower cover where two sides meet each other.

Still another aspect of the present invention provides bedding including the bedding cover and a bedding insert inserted between the upper cover and the lower cover and including an opening portion disposed at a position corresponding to the first fastening member and the second fastening member of the bedding cover. Here, the first fastening member and the second fastening member are coupled through the opening portion.

Advantageous Effects

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a bedding cover and bedding may be provided in which since an upper cover and a lower cover are configured to be couplable and separable using fastening members, a part of the cover may be separated to be washed, a variety of designs or patterns may be matched using different designs or pattern of an upper side or lower side of the cover, and a bedding design may be customized according to a user's preference.

Also, according to another embodiment of the present invention, a bedding cover and bedding may be provided in which, since an upper cover and an upper surface of a bedding insert are configured to be couplable and separable using fastening members and a lower cover and a lower surface of the bedding insert are configured to be couplable and separable using other fastening members, the upper cover, bedding insert, and lower cover may be organically and integrally coupled and fastened while the upper cover and the lower cover are couplable and separable.

Also, according to another embodiment of the present invention, a bedding cover and bedding may be provided in which fastening members of an upper cover, bedding insert, and lower cover are arranged in order to use the upper cover and lower cover without distinction between upper and lower sides so that a user may select a cover having a desired design or pattern regardless of upper and lower sides of the cover.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

The embodiments of the present invention are provided to more completely explain the present invention to one of ordinary skill in the art. The embodiments of the present invention may be changed in a variety of shapes, and the scope of the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. The embodiments are provided to make the present disclosure more substantial and complete and to completely transfer the concept of the present invention to those skilled in the art. In the drawings, like reference numerals refer to like elements.

The terms are used herein to explain the embodiments and not intended to limit the present invention. Also, in the specification, singular expressions, unless clearly defined otherwise in context, include plural expressions. Also, it should be understood that the terms such as “comprise” and/or “comprising,” when used herein, specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps, operations, members, elements, and/or a combination thereof and do not preclude the presence or addition of one or more features, integers, operations, members, elements, and/or other combinations thereof.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10 and a lower cover 30 of a bedding cover 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, coupling surfaces of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are illustrated to face a direction opposite the ground. On surfaces opposite the coupling surfaces of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 shown in FIG. 1, certain designs or patterns are formed as in a typical cover, and designs or patterns formed on the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be equal or different.

The bedding cover 1 includes the upper cover 10 including a first fastening member 11 and the lower cover 30 including a second fastening member 12 at a position corresponding to the first fastening member 11 to be couplable to the first fastening member 11. The upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be coupled by the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 and may be completely separated from each other when coupling between the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 is released. The first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 are firmly coupled to the covers 10 and 30, respectively, not to be separated when in use.

A material of each of the covers 10 and 30 may be one of natural materials such as cotton, silk, and the like and synthetic materials such as polyester, nylon, and the like. A bedding insert 20 may include one or more of battings such as silk batting, cotton batting, duck down, goose down, polyester batting, and the like.

The first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 may be any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons (male-female snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female), male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a female snap button is illustrated as the first fastening member 11 and a male snap button is illustrated as the second fastening member 12. In another embodiment, as the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12, two snap buttons without distinction between male and female may be used.

To allow a bedding insert to be inserted between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 and to provide a firm coupling force not to be released when the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are coupled, the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 may be provided on edge portions of the covers 10 and 30, respectively.

Also, at least one of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may include fastening straps 19 and 39 couplable to fastening rings and provided on corners of the bedding insert when the bedding insert is inserted between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30. Since fastening rings are provided on corners or sides of a general bedding insert, the covers 10 and 30 include the fastening straps 19 and 39 couplable to the fastening rings of the bedding insert so as to further improve a fastening ability between the bedding insert and the covers 10 and 30.

The covers 10 and 30 have a polygonal shape such as a quadrangular shape, and one or more first fastening members 11 and second fastening members 12 may be provided on each side and corner (where two sides meet each other). Although the covers 10 and 30 have a quadrangular shape in the embodiment, the present invention is not limited thereto and the covers 10 and 30 may have a variety of shapes such as a polygonal shape, circular shape, elliptical shape, and the like. Although FIG. 1 illustrates the first fastening members 11 are provided at respective sides and corners to be spaced at certain intervals and the second fastening members 12 are provided at the respective sides and corners, the present invention is not limited thereto and a plurality of such first fastening members 11 and a plurality of such second fastening members 12 may be provided at different positions.

According to the embodiment, since the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 20 are configured to be couplable or separable using the fastening members 11 and 12, any one of upper side and lower side of the covers 10 and 20 may be separated and washed, the upper side and lower side of the covers 10 and 20 may have different designs or patterns so as to match a variety of designs or patterns, and a bedding design may be customized according to a user's preference.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10 and a lower cover 30 of a bedding cover 2 according to another embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, coupling surfaces of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are illustrated to face a direction opposite the ground.

The bedding cover 2 includes the upper cover 10 including a first fastening member 11 (female snap button) and the lower cover 30 including a second fastening member 12 (male snap button) at a position corresponding to the first fastening member 11 to be couplable to the first fastening member 11. The upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be coupled by the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 and may be completely separated from each other when coupling between the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 is released.

To allow a bedding insert to be inserted between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 and to provide a firm coupling force not to be released when the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are coupled, the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 may be provided on edge portions of the covers 10 and 30, respectively.

Also, at least one of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may include fastening straps (not shown) couplabe to fastening rings and provided on corners or sides of the bedding insert when the bedding insert is inserted between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30.

Two or more sheets of fabric may be stacked on an edge portion 10a of the upper cover 10 and an edge portion 30a of the lower cover 30. The first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 may be provided on a sheet of fabric of the two or more sheets of fabric which is located on an innermost side so as not to be exposed to the outside when the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are coupled. Since the fastening members 11 and 12 are not exposed to the outside, it is possible to prevent the fastening members from protruding to the outside of the bedding cover and irritating the user's skin directly and to prevent disparate touches from being caused by different materials of the bedding cover and the fastening members 11 and 12. Also, a central portion 10b of the upper cover 10 and a central portion 30b of the lower cover 30 may be formed of one or more sheets of fabric. In this case, boundaries between the central portions 10b and 30b and the edge portions 10a and 30a may be sewed.

The upper cover 10 may further include a seventh fastening member 13 (male snap button) which is the same type as the second fastening member 12 of the lower cover 30, and the lower cover 30 may include an eighth fastening member 14 (female snap button) which is the same type as the first fastening member 11 of the upper cover 10.

The arrangements of the first fastening member 11, the second fastening member 12, the seventh fastening member 13, and the eighth fastening member 14 may be determined so as to allow the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 to be used without distinction between an upper side and lower side. That is, when the upper cover 10 is disposed as a lower cover, the seventh fastening member 13 of the upper cover 10 may be disposed at the same position as the second fastening member 12 of the lower cover 30. When the lower cover 30 is disposed as an upper cover, the eighth fastening member 14 of the lower cover 30 may be disposed at the same position as the first fastening member 11 of the upper cover 10.

When only the female snap button 11 is formed on the upper cover 10 and only the male snap button 12 is formed on the lower cover 30 like the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the upper cover 10 may always be used only as an upper cover and not used while being coupled with another upper cover and the lower cover 30 may always be used only as a lower cover and not used while being coupled with another lower cover. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the seventh fastening member 13 and the eighth fastening member 14 are provided in addition to the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 and disposed without distinction between upper and lower sides so as to allow the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 to be used without distinction between an upper side and lower side.

The covers 10 and 30 have a quadrangular shape, and one or more first fastening members 11, second fastening members 12, seventh fastening members 13, and eighth fastening members 14 may be provided on each side and corner of each of the covers 10 and 30 (where two sides meet each other). A combination of the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 and a combination of the seventh fastening member 13 and the eighth fastening member 14 may be any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons (male-female snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female), male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

According to the embodiment, the fastening members 11, 12, 13, and 14 of the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30 are disposed adequately so that the user may select a cover having a desired design or pattern regardless of upper and lower sides to match designs.

FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10, a bedding insert 20, and a lower cover 30 of bedding 3 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 3 illustrates, to allow components to be easily figured out, that a coupling surface of the upper cover 10 where the upper cover 10 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces a direction opposite the ground and a coupling surface of the lower cover 30 where the lower cover 30 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces a direction opposite the ground. On surfaces opposite the coupling surfaces of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover shown in FIG. 3, certain designs or patterns are formed as in a typical cover and designs or patterns formed on the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be equal or different. The bedding insert 20 is illustrated while a coupling surface with the upper cover 10 faces a direction opposite the ground.

The bedding 3 may include the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30. The upper cover 10 may include the first fastening member 11 (female snap button), and the lower cover 30 may include the second fastening member 12 (male snap button) couplable to the first fastening member 11 and provided at a position corresponding to the first fastening member 11. The upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be coupled by the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 and may be completely separated from each other when coupling between the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 is released.

The first fastening member 11 may be provided at an edge portion of the upper cover 10, and the second fastening member 12 may be provided on an edge portion of the lower cover 30. At least one of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may include a fastening strap (not shown) couplable to a fastening ring (not shown) provided at a corner of the bedding insert 20.

The covers 10 and 30 may have a quadrangular or polygonal shape. One first fastening member 11 and one second fastening member 12 may be provided at each corner (where two sides meet each other). Although FIG. 3 illustrates that a female snap button is provided at each corner as the first fastening member 11 and a male snap button is provided at each corner as the second fastening member 12, the present invention is not limited thereto and the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 may be any one combination of a button and a button hole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons (female and male snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between female and male), male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other and a plurality of first fastening members 11 and a plurality of second fastening members 12 may be provided at other positions other than to the respective corners.

The bedding insert 20 may have a shape and size to be insertable between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30. The bedding insert 20 may include a third fastening member 21 (fastening ring) to be coupled with the upper cover 10 and a fourth fastening member 23 (fastening ring) to be coupled to the lower cover 30. The third fastening member 21 and the fourth fastening member 23 are firmly coupled to the bedding insert 20 not to be separated when in use.

The upper cover 10 may include a fifth fastening member 15 (button) disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member 21 and couplable to the third fastening member 21, and the lower cover 30 may include a sixth fastening member 35 (button) disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member 23 and couplable to the fourth fastening member 23. The fifth fastening member 15 and the sixth fastening member 35 are firmly coupled to the covers 10 and 30, respectively, not to be separated when in use. The button may be fixed to each of the covers 10 and 30 using a thread.

Although a combination of the third fastening member 21 and the fifth fastening member 15 and a combination of the fourth fastening member 23 and the sixth fastening member 35 are illustrated as fastening rings and buttons in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the present invention is not limited thereto and the combination of the third fastening member 21 and the fifth fastening member 15 and the combination of the fourth fastening member 23 and the sixth fastening member 35 may be any one combination of a button and a button hole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons (female and male snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between female and male), male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

The arrangements of the third fastening member 21, the fourth fastening member 23, the fifth fastening member 15, and the sixth fastening member 35 may be determined so as to allow the fifth fastening member 15 to be coupled to the fourth fastening member 23 and to allow the sixth fastening member 35 to be coupled to the third fastening member 21 even when the upper cover 10 is coupled to a lower side of the bedding insert 20 (a surface opposite a surface of the bedding insert shown in FIG. 3) and the lower cover 30 is coupled to an upper side of the bedding insert 20 (the surface of the bedding insert 20 shown in FIG. 3). For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the third fastening member 21 and the fourth fastening member 23 may be disposed at the same positions as those of the bedding insert 20 or at the same positions corresponding to upper and lower surfaces and the fifth fastening member 15 and the sixth fastening member 35 may be disposed at positions corresponding to the third fastening member 21 and the fourth fastening member 23.

One third fastening member 21 and one fourth fastening member 23 may be provided on each side of the bedding insert 20. In another embodiment, one third fastening member 21 and one fourth fastening member 23 may be provided on each corner of the bedding insert 20 or one or more may be provided on each side and each corner.

One fifth fastening member 15 couplable to the third fastening member 21 may be provided on each side corresponding to disposition of the third fastening member 21. One sixth fastening member 35 couplable to the fourth fastening member 23 may be provided on each side corresponding to disposition of the fourth fastening member 23. In another embodiment, one fifth fastening member 15 and one sixth fastening member 35 may be provided on corners of the covers 10 and 30 or one or more may be provided on each side and each corner corresponding to the arrangements of the third fastening member 21 and the fourth fastening member 23.

According to the embodiment, since the upper cover 10 and the upper surface of the bedding insert 20 are configured to be couplable or separable using the fastening members 15 and 21 and the lower cover 30 and the lower surface of the bedding insert 20 are configured to be couplable or separable using the fastening members 35 and 23, the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30 may be organically and integrally coupled and fastened to one another while the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are couplable to or separable from each other.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the bedding insert 20 shown in FIG. 3 which is taken along line B-B. The bedding insert 20 may include a batting portion 20b and a cover portion 20a covering the batting portion 20b overall. Since a central portion of the bedding insert 20 includes the batting portion 20b and the cover portion 20a and an edge part of the bedding insert 20 includes the cover portion 20a, a thickness of the central portion may be thicker than a thickness of the edge part. The third fastening member 21 and the fourth fastening member 23 may be provided on the edge part having a smaller thickness.

FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10, a bedding insert 20, and a lower cover 30 of bedding 4 according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 illustrates, to allow components to be easily figured out, that a coupling surface of the upper cover 10 where the upper cover 10 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces a direction opposite the ground and a coupling surface of the lower cover 30 where the lower cover 30 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces a direction opposite the ground. The bedding insert 20 is illustrated while a coupling surface (upper surface) with the upper cover 10 faces a direction opposite the ground.

The bedding 4 includes the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30. The first fastening member 11 (female snap button) may be provided on each corner of the upper cover 10 where two sides meet each other, and the lower cover 30 may include the second fastening member 12 (male snap button) couplable to the first fastening member 11 and provided on each corner where two sides meet each other and that is a position corresponding to the first fastening member 11.

Also, the upper cover 10 may further include the seventh fastening member 13 (male snap button) that is the same type as the second fastening member 12, and the lower cover 30 may further include the eighth fastening member 14 (female snap button) that is the same type as the first fastening member. The seventh fastening member 13 may be provided on each corner of the upper cover 10 where two sides meet each other, and the eighth fastening member 14 may be provided on each corner of the lower cover 30 where two sides meet each other. When the upper cover 10 is disposed as the lower cover 30, the seventh fastening member 13 of the upper cover 10 may be disposed at the same position as the second fastening member 12 of the lower cover 30. When the lower cover 30 is disposed as the upper cover 10, the eighth fastening member 14 of the lower cover 30 may be disposed at the same position as the first fastening member 11 of the upper cover 10. With this configuration as described above, the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be used as any side without distinction between upper and lower sides.

In another embodiment, one or more first fastening members 11 and seventh fastening members 13 may be provided on each side or each corner of the upper cover 10, and one or more second fastening members 12 and eighth fastening members 14 may be provided on each side or each corner of the lower cover 30. Also, the numbers and arrangements of the first fastening members 11, the second fastening members 12, the seventh fastening members 13, and the eighth fastening members 14 are not limited to the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 and a variety of numbers and a variety of arrangements are possible.

The bedding insert 20 may have a shape and size to be insertable between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30. The third fastening member 21 (button) may be provided on the upper surface of the bedding insert 20 to be coupled to the upper cover 10. The fourth fastening member 23 (button) may be provided on the lower surface of the bedding insert 20 to be coupled to the lower cover 30. Two third fastening members 21 may be disposed on each of an upper side and a lower side of the upper surface of the bedding insert 20 and one third fastening member 21 may be disposed on each of a left side and a right side of the bedding insert. Also, two fourth fastening members 23 may be disposed on each of the upper side and the lower side of the upper surface of the bedding insert 20 and one fourth fastening member 23 may be disposed on each of the left side and the right side of the bedding insert. In another embodiment, one or more third fastening members 21 may be provided on each side or each corner of the upper surface of the bedding insert 20 and one or more fourth fastening members 23 may be provided on each side or each corner of the lower surface of the bedding insert 20. Also, the number and arrangement of the third fastening members 21 and fourth fastening members 23 are not limited to the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 and a variety of numbers and a variety of arrangements are possible.

The upper cover 10 may further include a fifth fastening member 15 (button hole) disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member 21 and couplable to the third fastening member 21, and the lower cover 30 may further include a sixth fastening member 35 (button hole) disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member 23 and couplable to the fourth fastening member 23.

Corresponding to the numbers and arrangements of the third fastening members 21, two fifth fastening members 15 may be disposed on each of the upper surface and lower surface of the upper cover 10 and one fifth fastening member may be disposed on each of the left side and right side. Also, corresponding to the numbers and arrangements of the fourth fastening members 23, two sixth fastening members 35 may be disposed on each of the upper surface and lower surface of the upper cover 10 and one sixth fastening member may be disposed on each of the left side and right side. In another embodiment, corresponding to the numbers and arrangements of the third fastening members 21, one or more fifth fastening members 15 may be provided on each side and/or each corner of the upper cover 10, and corresponding to the numbers and arrangements of the fourth fastening members 23, one or more sixth fastening members 35 may be provided on each side and/or each corner of the lower cover 30. Also, the numbers and arrangements of the fifth fastening members 15 and sixth fastening members 35 are not limited to the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 and a variety of numbers and a variety of arrangements are possible corresponding to the numbers and arrangements of the third fastening members 21 and fourth fastening members 23.

According to the embodiment, since the upper cover 10 and the upper surface of the bedding insert 20 are configured to be couplable or separable using the fastening members 15 and 21 and the lower cover 30 and the lower surface of the bedding insert 20 are configured to be couplable or separable using the fastening members 35 and 23, the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30 may be organically and integrally coupled and fastened to one another while the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 is couplable to or separable from each other.

Also, according to the embodiment, since the fastening members 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 35, 21, and 23 of the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30 are arranged in order to use the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 20 without distinction between upper and lower sides, the user may select a cover having a desired design or pattern regardless of upper and lower sides of the cover.

FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10, a bedding insert 20, and a lower cover 30 of bedding 5 according to another embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 6 illustrates that a coupling surface of the upper cover 10 where the upper cover 10 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces the ground and a coupling surface of the lower cover 30 where the lower cover 30 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces a direction opposite the ground.

The bedding 5 may include an upper cover 10, a bedding insert 20, and a lower cover 30. The upper cover 10 may include a first fastening member 11 and a seventh fastening member 13, and the lower cover 30 may include a second fastening member 12 and an eighth fastening member 14 couplable to the first fastening member 11 and the seventh fastening member 13 and provided at positions corresponding to the first fastening member 11 and the seventh fastening member 13, respectively. Descriptions of the first fastening member 11, the second fastening member 12, the seventh fastening member 13, and the eighth fastening member 14 may refer to descriptions of the first fastening member 11, the second fastening member 12, the seventh fastening member 13, and the eighth fastening member 14 of the bedding 4 shown in FIG. 5.

The bedding insert 20 may have a shape and size to be insertable between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30. A third fastening member 22a (male snap button) may be provided on an upper surface of the bedding insert 20 to be coupled to the upper cover 10. A fourth fastening member 22c (button) may be provided on a lower surface of the bedding insert 20 to be coupled to the lower cover 30.

The upper cover 10 may further include a fifth fastening member 22b (female snap button) disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member 22a and couplable to the third fastening member 22a, and the lower cover 30 may further include a sixth fastening member 22d disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member 22c and couplable to the fourth fastening member 22c. Descriptions of numbers and arrangements of the third fastening member 22a, the fourth fastening member 22c, the fifth fastening member 22b, and the sixth fastening member 22d may refer to descriptions of numbers and arrangements of the numbers and arrangements of the third fastening member 21, the fourth fastening member 23, the fifth fastening member 15, and the sixth fastening member 35 of the bedding 4 shown in FIG. 5.

FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10 and a lower cover 30 of bedding 6 according to another embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 7, the bedding 6 may include an upper cover 10, a bedding insert (not shown), and a lower cover 30. In FIG. 7, coupling surfaces of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 are illustrated as facing each other.

A first fastening member 17 (female zipper) is provided on an edge of the upper cover 10 to be coupled with the lower cover 30, and a second fastening member 37 couplable to a first fastening member (male zipper) is provided on an edge of the lower cover 30. The upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be coupled by the first fastening member 17 and the second fastening member 37 and may be completely separated from each other when coupling between the first fastening member 17 and the second fastening member 37 is released. The bedding insert may be inserted between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30. Descriptions of the first fastening member 17 and the second fastening member 37, unless inconsistent with each other, may refer to descriptions of the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 of the bedding 1 shown in FIG. 1.

At least one of the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may include fastening straps 19 and 39 couplabe to fastening rings and provided on corners of the bedding insert when the bedding insert is inserted between the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30. Since fastening rings are provided on corners or sides of a general bedding insert, the covers 10 and 30 include the fastening straps 19 and 39 couplable to the fastening rings of the bedding insert so as to further improve a fastening ability between the bedding insert and the covers 10 and 30.

FIG. 8 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10, a bedding insert 20, and a lower cover 30 of bedding 7 according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 illustrates that a coupling surface of the upper cover 10 where the upper cover 10 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces the ground and a coupling surface of the lower cover 30 where the lower cover 30 and the bedding insert 20 are coupled faces a direction opposite the ground.

The bedding 7 may include the upper cover 10, the bedding insert 20, and the lower cover 30. A first fastening member 11 (female snap button) and a seventh fastening member 13 (male snap button) may be provided on an edge of the upper cover 10, and a second fastening member 12 (male snap button) and an eighth fastening member 14 (female snap button) may be provided on an edge of the lower cover 30. Descriptions of the first fastening member 11, the second fastening member 12, the seventh fastening member 13, and the eighth fastening member 14 may refer to descriptions of the first fastening member 11, the second fastening member 12, the seventh fastening member 13, and the eighth fastening member 14 of the bedding cover 2 shown in FIG. 2.

Since an opening portion 20a may be included in each corner and each side of the bedding insert 20 and the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12 may be coupled and the seventh fastening member 13 and the eighth fastening member 14 may be coupled using the opening portions 20a, the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be coupled.

FIG. 9 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an upper cover 10, a bedding insert 20, and a lower cover 30 of bedding 7 according to another embodiment of the present invention.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 9, couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female are used as the first fastening member 11 of the upper cover 10 and the second fastening member 12 of the lower cover 30 according to the embodiment shown in FIG. 8. In the embodiment, since the snap buttons without distinction between male and female are used as the first fastening member 11 and the second fastening member 12, the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 30 may be used without distinction between upper and lower sides even when the seventh fastening member 13 and the eighth fastening member 14 like the embodiment of FIG. 3 are not present.

It will be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art that the present invention is not limited to the above-described exemplary embodiments and the accompanying drawings and a variety of substitutions, modifications, and changes may be made herein without departing from the scope of the present invention.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

According to the embodiments of the present invention, a bedding cover and bedding which are configured to allow an upper cover, a bedding insert, and a lower cover to be couplable or separable using fastening members may be provided so that the upper cover, the bedding insert, and the lower cover are organically and integrally coupled and fastened while the upper cover and the lower cover are couplable and separable.

Claims

1. A bedding cover comprising:

an upper cover including a first fastening member; and

a lower cover including a second fastening member couplable to the first fastening member and formed at a position corresponding to the first fastening member,

wherein the upper cover and the lower cover are coupled to each other using the first fastening member and the second fastening member and are separated from each other through releasing of coupling between the first fastening member and the second fastening member,

wherein the upper cover further comprises a seventh fastening member which is the same type as the second fastening member, and the seventh fastening member of the upper cover is disposed at the same position as the second fastening member of the lower cover when the upper cover is disposed as a lower cover, and

wherein the lower cover further comprises an eighth fastening member which is the same type as the first fastening member, and the eighth fastening member of the lower cover is disposed at the same position as the first fastening member of the upper cover when the lower cover is disposed as an upper cover so that the upper cover and the lower cover are usable without distinction between upper and lower sides.

2. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein the first fastening member is provided on an edge portion of the upper cover, and

wherein the second fastening member is provided on an edge portion of the lower cover.

3. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein an edge portion of the upper cover and an edge portion of the lower cover comprise fabric formed of two or more stacked sheets, and

wherein the first fastening member and the second fastening member are provided on fabric located on an innermost side while being coupled in two or more sheets of fabric so as not to be exposed to the outside when the upper cover and the lower cover are coupled.

4. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein the first fastening member and the second fastening member are any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons comprising male-female snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

5. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein the upper cover comprises a plurality of such first fastening members identical to the first fastening member, and the lower cover comprises a plurality of such second fastening members identical to the second fastening member.

6. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein one or more first fastening members are provided on each side of the upper cover, and

wherein one or more second fastening members are provided on each side of the lower cover.

7. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein one or more first fastening members are provided on each corner of the upper cover where two sides meet each other, and

wherein one or more second fastening members are provided on each corner of the lower cover where two sides meet each other.

8. The bedding cover of claim 1, wherein at least one of the upper cover and the lower cover comprises a fastening strap couplable to a fastening ring of a bedding insert which is inserted between the upper cover and the lower cover.

9. A bedding comprising:

an upper cover including a first fastening member;

a lower cover including a second fastening member couplable to the first fastening member and formed at a position corresponding to the first fastening member; and

a bedding insert which is inserted between the upper cover and the lower cover and includes a third fastening member configured to be coupled to the upper cover and a fourth fastening member configured to be coupled to the lower cover,

wherein the upper cover and the lower cover are coupled to each other using the first fastening member and the second fastening member and are separated from each other through releasing of coupling between the first fastening member and the second fastening member,

wherein the upper cover further comprises a fifth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member and couplable to the third fastening member, and

wherein the lower cover further comprises a sixth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member and couplable to the fourth fastening member.

10. The bedding of claim 9, wherein the bedding insert comprises a central portion having a first thickness and an edge portion having a thickness smaller than the first thickness and provided on an edge, and

wherein the third fastening member and the fourth fastening member are provided on the edge portion.

11. The bedding of claim 9, wherein the third fastening member, the fourth fastening member, the fifth fastening member, and the sixth fastening member are arranged to allow the fifth fastening member to be couplable to the fourth fastening member and to allow the sixth fastening member to be couplable to the third fastening member even when the upper cover is coupled to a lower side of the bedding insert and the lower cover is coupled to an upper side of the bedding insert.

12. The bedding cover of claim 9, wherein the third fastening member and the fifth fastening member are any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a ring and a strap, a pair of snap buttons comprising male-female snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other, and

wherein the fourth fastening member and the sixth fastening member are any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a ring and a strap, a pair of snap buttons comprising male-female snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

13. The bedding of claim 9, wherein a plurality of such third fastening members, a plurality of such fourth fastening members, a plurality of such fifth fastening members, and a plurality of such sixth fastening members are provided.

14. The bedding cover of claim 9, wherein one or more fifth fastening members are provided on each side of the upper cover, and

wherein one or more sixth fastening members are provided on each side of the lower cover.

15. The bedding of claim 9, wherein the upper cover and the lower cover have a polygonal shape,

wherein one or more fifth fastening members are provided on each corner of the upper cover where two sides meet each other, and

wherein one or more sixth fastening members are provided on each corner of the lower cover where two sides meet each other.

16. A bedding comprising:

an upper cover including a first fastening member;

a lower cover including a second fastening member couplable to the first fastening member and formed at a position corresponding to the first fastening member; and

a bedding insert inserted between the upper cover and the lower cover and comprising an opening portion disposed at a position corresponding to the first fastening member of the upper cover and the second fastening member of the lower cover,

wherein the upper cover and the lower cover are coupled to each other using the first fastening member and the second fastening member and are separated from each other through releasing of coupling between the first fastening member and the second fastening member, and

wherein the first fastening member and the second fastening member are coupled through the opening portion.

17. The bedding of claim 16, wherein the first fastening member and the second fastening member are any one combination of a button and a buttonhole, a button and a ring, a fastening ring and a fastening strap, a pair of snap buttons comprising male-female snap buttons or two couplable snap buttons without distinction between male and female, male and female Velcro, and a first polarity magnet and a second polarity magnet which have an attractive force so as to be attracted to each other.

18. The bedding of claim 16, wherein the bedding insert comprises a third fastening member to be coupled to the upper cover and a fourth fastening member to be coupled to the lower cover,

wherein the upper cover further comprises a fifth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the third fastening member and couplable to the third fastening member, and

wherein the lower cover further comprises a sixth fastening member disposed at a position corresponding to the fourth fastening member and couplable to the fourth fastening member.
