DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new drink holder device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 6, the cooling drink holder assembly 10 generally comprises a sleeve 12 that has a compartment 14 integrated inside of the sleeve 12. The sleeve 12 has an open end 16 to insertably receive a beverage container 18. Additionally, the sleeve 12 is comprised of a thermally conductive material such that the sleeve 12 is in thermal communication with the beverage container 18 when the beverage container 18 is inserted into the sleeve 12. The sleeve 12 has a bottom end 20 and an outer wall 22 that extends between the bottom end 20 and the open end 16. The open end 16 is open into an interior of the sleeve 12 and the compartment 14 is integrated within the outer wall 22 and within the bottom end 20. The compartment 14 contains a cooling gel 24 and the cooling gel 24 is comprised of a freezable material. In this way the cooling gel 24 can be frozen thereby cooling the beverage container 18 when the beverage container 18 is inserted into the sleeve 12.

A first ring 26 is coupled to the sleeve 12 such that the sleeve 12 hangs downwardly from the first ring 26. In this way the beverage container 18 is extended through the first ring 26 when the beverage container 18 is inserted into the sleeve 12. The first ring 26 has a bottom surface 28 and a top surface 30, and the open end 16 of the sleeve 12 is coupled to the bottom surface 28. A plurality of couplers 32 is each coupled to and extends upwardly from the first ring 26. Each of the couplers 32 comprises a stem 34 and a head 36 that is attached to the stem 34. The stem 34 extends upwardly from the top surface 30 of the first ring 26 having the head 36 lying on a plane that is oriented parallel to the top surface 30. Additionally, the couplers 32 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed around a full circumference of the first ring 26.

A second ring 38 is provided and a plurality of engagements 39 is each integrated into the second ring 38. The second ring 38 is positionable on an arm rest 40 of a chair 42 such that the second ring 38 surrounds a hole 44 extending through the arm rest 40. In this way the beverage container 18 can be extended through the second ring 38. Each of the couplers 32 on the first ring 26 releasably engages a respective one of the engagements 39 for suspending the sleeve 12 on the arm rest 40. In this way the sleeve 12 can store the beverage container 18 when the beverage container 18 is extended through the second ring 38.

The second ring 38 has a lower surface 46 and an upper surface 48, and each of the engagements 39 comprises a slot 50 that extends through the lower surface 46 and the upper surface 48. The slot 50 comprises an elongated section 52 and a rounded section 54. The rounded section 54 has a diameter that is sufficient to facilitate the head 36 of a respective one of the engagements 39 to pass through the rounded section 54. The elongated section 52 has a width that is less than a width of the head 36 of the respective engagement 39. In this way the respective engagement 39 is inhibited from passing out of the slot 50. Moreover, the lower surface 46 rests on the arm rest 40 of the chair 42.

In use, the sleeve 12 is placed in a cooler, a refrigerator or other cold location to cool the cooling gel 24 in the sleeve 12. Each of the couplers 32 on the first ring 26 is engaged to the respective engagement 39 on the second ring 38 when the sleeve 12 is sufficiently cooled. In this way the beverage container 18 can be stored in the sleeve 12 in the conventional manner of a drink holder. Additionally, the cooling gel 24 in the sleeve 12 keeps the beverage container 18 at a chilled temperature. In this way a beverage contained in the beverage container 18 is always cold and refreshing. The first ring 26 can be uncoupled from the second ring 38 at any time to facilitate the sleeve 12 to be repositioned in the cooler or refrigerator to re-chill the cooling gel 24 in the sleeve 12.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
