Cover and Water Container Using Same

This disclosure relates to a cover and a water container using the cover. The cover comprises a cover body, a blocking member and a sealing assembly. The cover body is provided with a water outlet. The blocking member is slidably arranged on the cover body and provided with a blocking portion for blocking the water outlet. The sealing assembly is arranged on an inner side of the cover body and comprises a force-bearing member and a sealing sheet connected to the force-bearing member and moving with the force-bearing member. The force-bearing member is in contact with the blocking member. When the blocking member slides back and forth along the cover body, the force-bearing member moves accordingly toward the inner side of the cover body or toward an outer side of an upper end surface of the cover body, respectively. The sealing sheet widens a gap of a fluid channel communicated with the water outlet when the force-bearing member moves towards the inner side of the cover body, and the sealing sheet gradually narrows the gap of the fluid channel to a sealed state when the force-bearing member moves towards the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body. In this way, the user can open or close the water outlet by sliding the blocking member simply.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Technical Field

This disclosure relates to the field of water containers, in particular to a cover and a water container using the same.

2. Description of Related Art

In daily life, water containers such as drinking cups and thermos cups have become commonly used products in people’s lives. The water container includes a cover and a container body for containing water or beverages, and a water outlet is formed in the cover. Users can drink water or other beverages in the water container at any time according to their needs when they are at home, at work, or when they go out.

However, these current water containers have some problems: the cover and the container body are mostly fastened together by means of threads. Once the user wants to drink water, the user has to hold the container body with one hand and unscrew the cover with the other hand, and then the user can open the cover to drink the water in the container body. After drinking the water, the user also has to screw the cover onto the container body with both hands. It is difficult for such a cover structure to meet the actual needs of users who want to drink water with simple operations.

In view of the prior art, a first technical problem to be solved by this disclosure is to provide a cover with a water outlet capable of being opened or closed by users with a simple operation.

A second technical problem to be solved by this disclosure is to provide a water container using the cover.

A technical solution adopted in this disclosure to solve the first technical problem is: a cover, comprising:

  • a cover body with a water outlet;
  • a blocking member slidably arranged on the cover body and provided with a blocking portion for blocking the water outlet; and
  • a sealing assembly arranged on an inner side of the cover body;
  • wherein the sealing assembly comprises:
  • a force-bearing member in contact with the blocking member, when the blocking member slides back and forth along the cover body, the force-bearing member moving accordingly toward the inner side of the cover body or toward an outer side of an upper end surface of the cover body, respectively; and
  • a sealing sheet connected to the force-bearing member and moving with the force-bearing member, the sealing sheet widening a gap of a fluid channel communicated with the water outlet when the force-bearing member moves towards the inner side of the cover body, the sealing sheet gradually narrowing the gap of the fluid channel to a sealed state when the force-bearing member moves towards the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body.

As an improved implementation, in the cover, the cover body is provided with a groove that allows the blocking member to slide back and forth; or/and, the cover body is provided with a sealing ring.

As a further improved implementation, in the cover, the sealing assembly further comprises:

  • a fixed base provided with a water inlet, the sealing sheet being arranged on an inner side of the fixed base in a manner of moving up and down; and
  • an elastic member located on the inner side of the fixed base and arranged under the force-bearing member, the elastic member being in contact with the force-bearing member;
  • wherein a first end of the force-bearing member passes through the sealing sheet and comes into contact with the blocking member in the process that the blocking portion opens the water outlet, and a second end of the force-bearing member is arranged on the inner side of the fixed base.

Further, in the cover, the elastic member is configured as a spring, and the spring is fitted over the outside of the second end of the force-bearing member; alternatively, the elastic member is configured as a spring, and the second end of the force-bearing member is arranged on the elastic member.

As a further improved implementation, in the cover, the cover body is provided with an opening that allows the first end of the force-bearing member to move up and down.

As a further improved implementation, in the cover, a lower end surface of the blocking member is provided with an open groove and an inclined surface is formed in the open groove; wherein the force-bearing member comes into contact with the inclined surface in the process that the blocking member opens the water outlet in the cover body; the force-bearing member is in contact with the blocking member at the inclined surface.

As a further improved implementation, in the cover, a limiting structure for position limiting is arranged between the upper end surface of the cover body and the blocking member. For example,

As a first arrangement mode of the limiting structure, at least one limiting groove is formed in the upper end surface of the cover body, and the blocking member is provided with at least one protrusion that is locked in the corresponding limiting groove.

As a second arrangement mode of the limiting structure, at least one protrusion is formed on the upper end surface of the cover body, and the blocking member is provided with at least one limiting groove for locking the protrusion.

As a further improved implementation, in the cover, the fixed base is mounted on the cover body.

Preferably, the fixed base is mounted on the cover body in a detachable manner.

Further, in the cover, the fluid channel is formed by the sealing assembly and the cover body.

A technical solution adopted by this disclosure to solve the second technical problem is: a water container, comprising a container body using the cover described in any one of the above.

Compared with the prior art, this disclosure has the following advantages:

Firstly, in this disclosure, the blocking member is slidably arranged on the cover body of the cover and provided with a blocking portion for blocking the water outlet in the cover body, the cover body is also provided with a sealing assembly on the inner side, the sealing assembly is internally provided with the force-bearing member and the sealing sheet, the sealing assembly and the cover body form the fluid channel communicated with the water outlet, the upper end of the force-bearing member is in contact with the lower end surface of the blocking member, and the sealing sheet can move up and down with the force-bearing member. When the user toggles the blocking member to open the water outlet, the blocking portion opens the water outlet, the lower end surface of the blocking member applies a downward pressure to the force-bearing member, and the sealing sheet moves downwards with the downward movement of the force-bearing member until the fluid channel of the cover is completely opened, and in this case a channel by which water flows through the fluid channel to the water outlet of the cover body is completely opened. When the user conducts an opposite operation, the parts of the cover move in the opposite direction, so that the channel by which water flows through the fluid channel to the water outlet of the cover body is completely closed and the blocking portion of the blocking member also closes the water outlet. In this way, the user can simply toggle the sliding member to slide back and forth on the cover body to open or close the water outlet in the cover, which facilitates the user’s operation.

Secondly, by detachably mounting the fixed base on the cover body, the sealing assembly can be detachably mounted on the cover, thereby facilitating disassembly and removal of the dirt on the sealing assembly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

This disclosure is described below in further detail with reference to accompanying drawings and an embodiment.

This embodiment provides a cover, in particular, it can be used in cooperation with a container body such as a cup body. Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the cover 1 of this embodiment includes a cover body 11, a blocking member 12, a sealing assembly 13 and a sealing ring 14, the blocking member 12 is slidably arranged on the cover body 11, the sealing assembly 13 is arranged on the inner side of the cover body 11, and the sealing ring 14 is configured as a silicone ring.

Specifically,

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 4, the cover body 11 of this embodiment has a water outlet 110, a groove 111 and an opening 112, and the lower end of the cover body 11 is provided with a circle of steps 114 that cooperate with the sealing assembly 13, as shown in FIG. 7, and there are also catches or threads on the steps 114.

The blocking member 12 is provided with a toggle portion 120, a blocking portion 121 for blocking the water outlet 110, an open groove 122 formed in the lower end surface of the blocking member, and a sliding snap-in portion 124 that can be fitted and locked in the groove 11 to allow the blocking member to slide. The toggle portion 120 is located on the upper end surface of the blocking member 12, and an inclined surface 123 is formed in the open groove 122. An angle formed between the inclined surface 123 and the lower end surface of the blocking member 12 is an acute angle. The inclined surface 123 has an inclined shape extending from the lower left side of the open groove toward the upper right side of the open groove. For example, the lowest point of the inclined surface 123 is located near the lower end surface of the blocking member, and the highest point of the inclined surface 123 is located at the upper right side of the open groove 122. The structure of the blocking member 12 is shown in FIGS. 3 and 5.

In order to facilitate the user to perceive the specific sliding formation of the blocking member on the cover body, two limiting grooves 113 are formed in the upper end surface of the cover body 11 in this embodiment. One of the limiting groove 113 is arranged at the position where the blocking member just blocks the water outlet 110, and the other limiting groove 113 is arranged at the position where the blocking member completely opens the water outlet 110. The blocking member 12 is provided with a protrusion 125 which is locked in the corresponding limiting groove 113. The protrusion 125 may be a protrusion capable of being locked in the limiting groove113 and removed from the limiting groove 113. In this way, after the blocking member 12 slides for a certain distance, the protrusion 125 will be locked in the limiting groove 113 in the upper end face of the cover body, and in this case the hand will have the feeling of “snap-in”. After the blocking member 12 slides in the reverse direction for a certain distance, the protrusion 125 will be locked in the other limiting groove 113 on the upper end surface of the cover body, and in this case the hand will have the feeling of “snap-in”. In this way, it is convenient for the user to know whether the blocking member completely opens or blocks the water outlet of the cover body by hand. It should be noted that, according to actual needs, the upper end surface of the cover body 11 may be provided with at least one protrusion, and the blocking member 12 may be provided with at least one limiting groove for locking the protrusion.

FIGS. 2, 3 and 6, the sealing assembly 13 of this embodiment has a force-bearing member 131, a sealing sheet 132, a fixed base 133 and an elastic member 134. The sealing sheet 132 is in the shape of a trumpet with a large upper end and a small lower end. The sealing sheet 132 of such a structure facilitates the formation of an effective seal with the steps on the cover body 11. A through hole 1320 is formed in the middle of the sealing sheet 132, and the sealing sheet 132 is connected to the force-bearing member 131 and moves with the force-bearing member 131. The fixed base 133 is directly or indirectly fixed on the cover body 11. The “fixed” here is preferably “detachably fixed”. For example, a hook 1331 can be formed on the fixed base 133, and then the hook 1331 can be assembled on the circle of steps 114 on the inner side of the cover body 11, so as to achieve the effect of fixing the fixed base 133 on the cover body 11. Certainly, the fixed base 133 may also be provided with a thread, and the thread is in tight fit with the thread formed on the steps 114 of the cover body 11, so as to form thread fit between the fixed base 133 and the steps of the cover body 11. The fixed base 133 is provided with a water inlet 1330, through which the external water flow can flow into the entire sealing assembly 13, and the sealing sheet 132 is arranged on the inner side of the fixed base 133 in a manner of moving up and down. The elastic member 134 is located on the inner side of the fixed base 133. The elastic member 134 is configured as a spring. The elastic member 134 is located under the force-bearing member 131 and is in contact with the force-bearing member 131. In this embodiment, the fluid channel 10 that communicates with the water outlet 110 is formed between the sealing assembly 3 and the cover body 11, and the water flow contained in the container body can flow through the fluid channel 10 to the water outlet 110, and then flows out to the outside of the cover through the water outlet 110. For example, the water outlet 110 is a drinking port that is convenient for the user to drink water.

After the first end of the force-bearing member 131 passes through the through hole 1320 of the sealing sheet 132 and in the process that the sealing member 12 opens the water outlet 110 of the cover body 11, the first end of the force-bearing member 131 comes into contact with the inclined surface 123 formed on the sealing member 12, and the inclined surface 123 serves as a part where the force-bearing member 131 comes into contact with the sealing member 12. The second end 1310 of the force-bearing member 131 is arranged on the inner side of the fixed base 133, the second end 1310 of the force-bearing member 131 is in the shape of a base, and steps are formed on the base. Specifically, the second end of the force-bearing member 131 is fixed on the bottom of the inner side of the fixed base 133, and the spring serving as the elastic member 134 is fitted over the outside of the second end of the force-bearing member 131. The first end of the force-bearing member 131 can move up and down at the opening 112 of the cover body 11, that is, the first end of the force-bearing member 131 moves out to the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body 11 through the opening 112 and moves into the open groove 122 to come into contact with the inclined surface 123, and the first end of the force-bearing member 131 moves out from the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body 11 to the inner side of the cover body 11 through the opening 112. Certainly, in the actual production process, the second end of the force-bearing member 131 can also be arranged on the elastic member 134 as required, and likewise, the elastic member 134 can not only provide an upward elastic resilience to the sealing sheet 132, but also can fix the second end of the force-bearing member 131 on the inner side of the fixed base 133.

In this embodiment, the force-bearing member 131 moves toward the inner side of the cover body or toward the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body respectively when the blocking member 12 slides back and forth along the cover body 11. The sealing sheet 132 widens the gap of the fluid channel communicated with the water outlet 110 when the force-bearing member 131 moves towards the inner side of the cover body 11, and the sealing sheet 132 gradually narrows the gap of the fluid channel 10 to a sealed state when the force-bearing member 131 moves towards the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body.

This embodiment further provides a water container, specifically comprising a cover 1 and a container body 2. The cover 1 and the container body 2 are fastened and assembled together in a detachable manner.

In conjunction with FIGS. 7 to 10, the opening and closing process of the cover of the water container in this embodiment is described as follows:

Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, if the water outlet 110 of the cover 1 needs to be closed, the user toggles the toggle portion 120 on the blocking member 12 so that the blocking member 12 on the cover body 11 slides toward the water outlet 110 until the blocking portion 121 of the blocking member 12 blocks the water outlet 110. During the sliding process of the blocking member 12, with the sliding of the blocking member 12, under the action of the elastic resilience of the elastic member 134, since the lower end surface of the blocking member 12 is provided with the inclined surface 123, the first end of the force-bearing member 131 will gradually move upward to the outer side of the upper end surface of the cover body 11 through the opening 112 until the first end of the force-bearing member 131 touches the highest point of the inclined surface 123 (i.e., the highest point of the open groove 122). In this case, the sealing sheet 132 also moves upward with the force-bearing member 131 until the sealing sheet 132 completely closes the fluid channel 10 that is originally in the open state, and then the water in the container body 2 cannot enter the sealing assembly 13 through the fluid channel 10, and since the water outlet 110 is also blocked by the blocking portion 121, the water in the container body 2 cannot flow out through the water outlet 110.

Referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, if the water outlet 110 of the cover 1 needs to be opened, the user toggles the toggle portion 120 on the blocking member 12 in the reverse direction so that the blocking member 12 slides on the cover body 11 away from the water outlet 110 until the blocking portion 121 on the blocking member 12 opens the water outlet 110. During the sliding process of the blocking member 12, with the reverse sliding of the blocking member 12, the inclined surface 123 provided in the open groove 122 of the blocking member 12 will always press down the first end of the force-bearing member 131 until the lowest point of the inclined surface 123 comes into contact with the first end of the force-bearing member 131, so that the first end of the force-bearing member 131 gradually moves downward to the inner side of the cover body 11 through the opening 112. The sealing sheet 132 moves downward with the force-bearing member 131, and the elastic member 134 is also compressed to produce elastic deformation due to the downward movement of the sealing sheet 132. Due to the downward movement of the sealing sheet 132, the fluid channel 10 originally closed by the sealing sheet 132 is gradually opened. The water in the container body 2 (the direction of the arrow in FIG. 10 is the direction of the water flow) can enter the sealing assembly 13 through the fluid channel 10, and then flow to the water outlet 110 through the sealing assembly 13, and finally water inside the container body 2 flows out through the water outlet 110 on the cover body 11.
