A grip exerciser has a first handle, a second handle, a connecting member and a spring. The first handle and the second handle both have a pivoting portion and a holding portion, a pivot is disposed through the pivoting portions of the first handle and the second handle to assemble the first handle and the second handle together; the first handle further has an escaping space at an inner edge for accepting the connecting member, and the second handle further has a closed surface at an inner edge; the closed surface further has a plurality of positioning protrusions located along a continuous line and capable of engaging with one end of the spring;

BACKGROUND of INVENTION Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a grip exerciser having different resistance.

Description of the Related Art

Currently. Common grip exercisers have obviously problems such as many components and complicated assembly actions, and its production cost is relatively high, which is not conducive to the competition among the same industry. Also, the breakage of the connection part of the common grip exerciser between the main rod and the sub-rod can cause the spring to pop out which can be a safety hazard.

Therefore, it is desirable to provide a grip exerciser to mitigate and/or obviate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of present invention is to provide a grip exerciser.

In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, a grip exerciser has: a first handle, a second handle, a connecting member and a spring.

the first handle and the second handle both have a pivoting portion and a holding portion, a pivot is disposed through the pivoting portions of the first handle and the second handle to assemble the first handle and the second handle together; the first handle further has an escaping space at an inner edge for accepting the connecting member, and the second handle further has a closed surface at an inner edge; the closed surface further has a plurality of positioning protrusions located along a continuous line and capable of engaging with one end of the spring.

Also, the connecting member has a connecting column with an enlarged stopper at an end and pivoted in the escaping space, and another end of the spring is sleeved onto the connecting column that is pushed by the stopper.

Other objects, advantages, and novel features of invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Please refer to FIG. 1-3. A grip exerciser comprises: a first handle 10, a second handle 20, a connecting member 30 and a spring 40. The first handle 10 and the second handle 20 both have a pivoting portion 1121 and a holding portion 1222, and a pivot 50 is disposed through the pivoting portions 1121 of the first handle 10 and the second handle 20, to assemble the first handle 10 and the second handle 20. The first handle 10 further has an escaping space 13 at an inner edge for accepting the connecting member 30, and the second handle 20 further has a closed surface 23 at an inner edge. The closed surface 23 further has a plurality of positioning protrusions 24 further located along a continuous line and capable of engaging with one end of the spring 40. Furthermore, the connecting member 30 has a connecting column 31 with an enlarged stopper 32 at an end and pivoted in the escaping space 13, and another end of the spring 40 is sleeved onto the connecting column 31 that is pushed by the stopper 32.

Moreover, the closed surface 23 is an arced surface on the inner edge of the second handle 20, which is corresponding to the rotation of the connecting member 30 driven by the spring 40 so that the free and of the spring 40 is capable of align with each positioning protrusion 24.

In addition, the positioning protrusions 24 are integrally formed with the second handle 20, and the positioning protrusions 24 are hemispherical, as shown in FIGS. 1-5.

Besides, each positioning protrusion 24 has a smaller top portion and a larger lower portion, and the larger portion is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring 40, as shown in FIG. 6.

Alternatively, each positioning protrusion 24 has a larger top portion and a smaller lower portion, and the larger portion is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring 40, as shown in FIG. 7. Otherwise, each positioning protrusion 24 is a tapered conical frustum, and a larger portion thereof is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring 40.

Alternatively, wherein each positioning protrusion 24 is a conical frustum, and a larger portion thereof is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring 40, as shown in FIG. 8.

Also, a padding member 1425 is located at an outer edge of each holding portion 1222, and the padding member 1425 is softer than the holding portion 1222.

Moreover, the padding member 1425 has a plurality of anti-slip patterns, and each anti-slip pattern is a groove.

Furthermore, the second handle 20 has corresponding indicating symbols 26 adjacent to the positioning protrusions 24.

In addition, the stopper 32 of the connecting member 30 is pivoted in the escaping space 13 via the pivot 50.

Back to FIG. 4, for actual operation, a user uses one palm to grasp the holding portions 1222 of the first and second handles 1020 and repeatedly clench and loosen. The purpose of exercising the grasping power of the hand can be achieved by the resistance of the spring 40 that needs to be overcome. Since the connecting member 30 is pivoted, the connecting member 30 and the spring 40 are driven together, and the spring 40 can be changed to engage with the different positioning protrusions 24 at different positions, as shown in FIG. 5, which is capable of achieving adjustable training resistance and the adjustment of the resistance is gradually increasing from top to bottom.

By the structure of the above-mentioned specific embodiment, the following benefits can be obtained: since the positioning protrusion 24 is integrally formed on the second handle 20, the second handle 20 needs no other components to interact smoothly with the spring 40, so the grip exerciser is benefit of less components, easy assembly and low production cost; also, the positioning protrusion 24 is integrally formed in the on the second handle 20, there is no need to use a clip as a clamping structure; and, the spring 40 only needs to be moved to engage with a different positioning protrusion 24 to adjust to different resistances.

Although the present invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

1. A grip exerciser comprising: a first handle, a second handle, a connecting member and a spring; wherein:

the first handle and the second handle both have a pivoting portion and a holding portion, a pivot is disposed through the pivoting portions of the first handle and the second handle to assemble the first handle and the second handle together; the first handle further has an escaping space at an inner edge for accepting the connecting member, and the second handle further has a closed surface at an inner edge; the closed surface further has a plurality of positioning protrusions located along a continuous line and capable of engaging with one end of the spring;
wherein the connecting member has a connecting column with an enlarged stopper at an end and pivoted in the escaping space, and another end of the spring is sleeved onto the connecting column that is pushed by the stopper.

2. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein the closed surface is an arced surface.

3. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein the positioning protrusions are integrally formed with the second handle.

4. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein the positioning protrusions are hemispherical.

5. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein each positioning protrusion has a smaller top portion and a larger lower portion, and the larger portion is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring.

6. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein each positioning protrusion has a larger top portion and a smaller lower portion, and the larger portion is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring.

7. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein each positioning protrusion is a tapered conical frustum, and a larger portion thereof is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring.

8. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein each positioning protrusion is a conical frustum, and a larger portion thereof is capable of engaging with the free end of the spring.

9. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein a padding member is located at an outer edge of each holding portion, and the padding member is softer than the holding portion.

10. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 9, wherein the padding member has a plurality of anti-slip patterns, and each anti-slip pattern is a groove.

11. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 9, wherein the padding member has a plurality of anti-slip patterns, and each anti-slip pattern is protruding.

12. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second handle has corresponding indicating symbols adjacent to the positioning protrusions.

13. The grip exerciser as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper of the connecting member is pivoted in the escaping space via the pivot.
