Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to fastening elements. More specifically, the present invention is a package with one-way lock zip.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In present times, there is a need for a sanitary means of providing a readily close-able and permanent seal for garbage bags. The garbage bags being used presently may leak from the openings and produce a foul smell. Further, the leaking garbage bags may also spill out the liquid waste and pollute the environment. The problem of leaking and spilling out of liquid waste mostly happens with resealable zip locks bags, plastic carryout bags, cinch bags, etc. Therefore, it is an objective of the present invention to solve these problems.

The present invention aims to solve these problems. The present invention features a one-way sealing mechanism installed along the opening of the bag. This allows the user to seal off a garbage bag in a sanitary and secure way for proper disposal. The one-way sealing mechanism prevents leakage of the contents of the garbage bag, therefore, containing the foul smells and pollutants within the bag.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is a packaging with one-way seal. The packaging with one-way seal comprises a packaging body, a first fastening strip, and a second fastening strip. The packaging body comprises a package base, a package opening, a first package flap, and a second package flap. In the preferred embodiment, the package base takes the form of the sealed off bottom of the packaging body, opposite to the package opening. In the preferred embodiment, the package opening takes the form of the access opening of the package body that allows the user to place media inside of the packaging body. In the preferred embodiment, the first package flap and the second package flap take the form of the half-perimeter boundaries of the package opening, where the first fastening strip and the second fastening strip are connected along such that the first fastening strip and the second fastening strip are configured to engage together and conjoin the first package flap to the second package flap in order to close off the package opening.

The package base and the package opening are positioned terminally opposite to each other along the packaging body. The first package flap and the second package flap are connected adjacent to the package opening, opposite to the package base, where the first package flap and the second package flap are configured to serve as mounting portions of the first fastening strip and the second packaging strip. The package opening is positioned between the first package flap and the second package flap. The first fastening strip traverses along the first package flap. The second fastening strip traverses along the second package flap such that the second fastening strip aligns with the first fastening strip. The first fastening strip is operatively engaged to the second fastening strip, where the first fastening strip is configured to engage the second fastening strip to a sealed configuration.
