Description
BACKGROUND

The present invention relates to a multi-purpose casing having a heavy-article support tray integrally formed therewith, which is moveable horizontally in a state of accommodating a plurality of bowling balls and is capable of reliably supporting heavy articles by integrally forming a plurality of space support trays for supporting heavy articles with a body defining the external appearance of the casing.

In general, a case-type bag refers to a bag that is formed by attaching an outer cover to a frame forming a standardized framework and is mainly used for travel. Recently, as medium- and long-term travel has increased, demand for bags has increased rapidly, and the shapes and materials of bags have been increasingly modernized and diversified.

In addition, such a bag is formed in a substantially hexahedral box shape by attaching or connecting an outer cover made of cloth, leather, synthetic leather, or synthetic resin to an outer surface of a frame made of metal such as aluminum or synthetic resin such as polyethylene (PE), and is provided on one surface thereof with an entrance that is openable and closable by means of a zipper.

A bag configured as described above is applied to a case for transporting travel goods or sporting goods, and is used as a carrier for accommodating and carrying goods related to sports such as golf or bowling.

In relation to this technology, Korean Patent No. 755393 discloses a conventional travel bag, which is configured, as shown in FIG. 1, such that an entrance that is openable and closable by means of a third zipper (190) is provided on a front surface of the travel bag in order to expose an article storage space to the outside and a handle (192) is provided on a top surface that is located at the highest position among four side surfaces (116, 118, 120, and 122) of the travel bag.

In addition, a cart-type handle (194) may be provided on a rear surface (114) of the travel bag so as to be expandable and contractible in a vertical direction substantially perpendicular to the first side surface (116), which is the top surface among the side surfaces (116, 118, 120, and 122), and at least two casters (200) may be mounted on the third side surface (120), which is located at the lowest position among the four side surfaces (116, 118, 120, and 122) so as to be oriented toward the ground.

Further, the caster (200) is configured such that a wheel (202) is capable of rotating about a rotary shaft (204) and the rotary shaft (204) is also capable of rotating in a state of extending parallel to the ground, and three edges of the second side surface (118) and three edges of the fourth side surface (122), which are oriented in a lateral direction, are connected to edges of one of the front surface (112) and the rear surface (114) and to edges of the first and third side surfaces (116 and 120) adjacent thereto by means of first and second zippers (172 and 182).

However, the above-described bag, which is configured such that the casters are mounted on the third side surface (120) and the first and second zippers (172 and 182) are provided along the edges of the first and third side surfaces (116 and 120), has a shortcoming in that it is difficult to support heavy articles and thus it is impossible to simultaneously transport heavy articles such as clothes or sporting goods.

In addition, there is a shortcoming in that, when heavy articles such as sporting goods are supported and transported, the sporting goods move inside the bag and are damaged due to falling and that, when articles are stacked in the bag, articles located at lower positions are wrinkled.

In addition, there is a shortcoming in that, because the side surfaces are respectively manufactured and then are connected to each other using the zippers, a manufacturing process is complicated.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, a thread is formed on the fixing boss, and the coupling member (160) supporting the caster of the present invention is implemented as a nut and is assembled to the support hole.

However, a configuration in which an elastic hook is formed on the upper end of the fixing boss and is assembled to the support hole, a configuration in which a pin hole is formed through the fixing boss and a fixing pin is inserted into the pin hole to be assembled to the support hole, and a configuration in which a ring hole is formed in the fixing boss and a fixing ring is fitted into the ring hole to be assembled to the support hole may be selectively used.

Operation of the present invention configured as described above will be described.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 17, in the casing (100) of the present invention, the body (110), the one or more space support trays (200) disposed in a space to support a heavy article, the support base (600) provided on one side thereof with the caster support portions (330) to which the casters (170) are assembled, and the handle support portion (800) to which the handle (850) is assembled are integrally formed with each other using a combination of molds moving in the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis directions.

In this case, since the handle support portion (800) is formed so as to abut the inner side surface of the body (110) or the outer side surface of the body, the handle (850) assembled to the handle support portion (800) facilitates transportation of the casing while reliably supporting load applied to the body (110).

In addition, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 15, a separate knob (not shown) is mounted to the case (100) when the body is formed or when the casing is completely manufactured so as to protrude outward or to be located in the body, and a user may transport the casing using the knob.

Deleted

In addition, the space support tray (200) interconnects the inner side surfaces of the body (110) formed in a rectangular shape, and includes the cavity portion (220) integrally formed therein. Therefore, the space support tray may reliably support a heavy article such as a bowling ball (B) loaded thereon without being deformed, and may be manufactured through one injection-molding process.

In addition, the caster support portion (330) formed on one side of the body so that the caster (170) of the present invention is assembled thereto is integrally formed so as to protrude outward from the lower portion of the body (110), as shown in FIG. 2, or is provided at a corner of the inner side surface of the support base (600) located at the lower portion of the body, as shown in FIG. 3, thereby reliably supporting load applied to the body (110) on the ground.

In this case, due to the handle (850) connected to the body (110) and the caster (170) provided on the lower surface of the body (110), the casing (100) is movable in a horizontal direction or an inclined direction in a state of simultaneously storing clothes (C), shoes (S), bowling balls (B), and the like in the storage spaces (120) in the body (110).

In addition, as shown in FIG. 15, according to the present invention, the storage spaces (220) are separated from each other by the space support trays (200), and clothes (C) are stacked on each of the space support trays (200). In this state, it is easy to check the loaded clothes and take the clothes out by opening the door (500), and the clothes are prevented from being pressed and thus wrinkled.

In addition, when the hexahedral body (110), which is made of plastic, has a predetermined thickness, and includes the upper and lower surfaces (111) (113), both side surfaces (112) (114) connected thereto, and open front and rear surfaces (not shown), is formed, the one or more space support trays (200) disposed in the storage space (120) in the height direction and the caster support portion (300) to which the caster (170) is mounted are integrally formed with the body using the X-axis mold (410), the Y-axis mold (430), and the Z-axis mold, which are combined with each other as shown in FIG. 6. Therefore, the casing (100) is easily manufactured through one process.

In this case, the space support tray (200) includes the first support surface (210) extending to inner sides of both side surfaces of the body and the cavity portion (220) integrally formed therein so as to be connected to outer sides of both side surfaces of the body, and thus is connected to the body while having predetermined strength in the storage space (120).

In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, when the body (110) is formed, the cavity portion (220) forming the space support tray (200) and one side of the third support surface (190) are exposed on each of both side surfaces of the body (110).

In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, general rib-shaped support pieces (not shown) are integrally formed with the cavity portion (220) in the horizontal or vertical direction so as to interconnect the first support surfaces (210), thereby easily dispersing load applied to the upper surface to the lower surface, and the cavity portion (220) is formed so as not to abut edges of both side surfaces in the width direction on the outer sides of both side surfaces, thereby reinforcing the connection.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, the bracket member (145) is connected to the front side of the space support tray so as to form the same plane as an edge of one side of the body when the casing (100) is completely manufactured, thereby facilitating coupling of the door.

In addition, the lattice-shaped ribs (119) are integrally formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the body (110), thereby increasing the strength of the body (110).

In addition, the first support surface (210) formed at the space support tray (200) includes the first round portion (211) formed on at least one side thereof so as to contact one side of a bowling ball located thereon or one side of a bowling ball located thereunder, thereby preventing movement of the bowling ball.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, the fixing section (310) of the caster support portion (300), through which the bolt hole (311) having a section having a predetermined depth and a predetermined thickness is formed, is integrally formed with the body at a position abutting the inner side or the outer side of the body (110). Therefore, when the caster supports load applied to the casing (100), the fixing boss (173) of the caster is always oriented in the vertical direction.

Further, the casing (100) including the body (110) described above is movable horizontally in an upright state due to the caster connected thereto, and supports a bowling ball in a stopped state so that the bowling ball is not moved from the loading position thereof by the round portion and the movement prevention member when the door is opened, thereby enabling storage and withdrawal of articles without falling of the articles.

In addition, since the caster (170) having the brake (175) is fixed to the caster support portion (300), it is possible to take a heavy article such as a bowling ball (B) out after stopping the casing at a certain position, thereby preventing accidents.

In this case, as shown in FIG. 2, the caster (170) is mounted such that the positioning projection (174) provided on one side of the fixing boss is supported in the positioning hole (178) formed in one side of the bolt hole (311) and thus the fixing boss is prevented from rotating when the drive wheel (175) rotates freely and such that the outer diameter portion of the fixing boss is supported in the bolt hole (311) via the metallic guide ring (176), whereby, when the fixing boss is coupled to the coupling member (160), damage to the coupling member (160) due to friction with the bolt hole is prevented, and thus the durability thereof is improved.

In addition, according to the present invention, a thread is formed on the fixing boss, and the coupling member (160) supporting the caster is implemented as a nut and is assembled to the support hole.

However, a configuration in which an elastic hook is formed on the upper end of the fixing boss and is assembled to the support hole, a configuration in which a pin hole is formed through the fixing boss and a fixing pin is inserted into the pin hole to be assembled to the support hole, and a configuration in which a ring hole is formed in the fixing boss and a fixing ring is fitted into the ring hole to be assembled to the support hole may be applied in various manners.
