ELASTIC MODULE AND ELASTIC MATTRESS
An elastic module comprises a plurality of first springs. The plurality of first springs are arranged in an array or staggered, and a first one of the plurality of first springs and a second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs contact or approach. Each of the plurality of first springs is a single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by a flexible material, and upper parts of the plurality of first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the plurality of first springs. Multiple first springs of the plurality of first springs on an outer periphery of the elastic module are connected by one or more connectors or connecting parts extending from the flexible material.

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSUREThe present disclosure relates to the field of the furniture, and in particular relates to an elastic mattress for the furniture.
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURESprings are basic elements of various elastic mattresses to provide elasticity for a support body. The springs are not easy to assemble, and a bottom or a top of the springs are usually connected, resulting in simultaneous interlocking movement between the springs. An elasticity of the elastic mattress is not easily and accurately adjusted. In particular, with respect to a spring bed, the spring bed consists of a bedstead, the elastic mattress, and a cover (i.e., a bedspread). The existing elastic mattress usually consists of a sponge and the springs. Although each of the springs is independently set, the springs are fixed on a rigid base plate and will shake left-right when the springs are compressed. In order to prevent the springs from getting entangled, the springs are arranged in a low density, and the springs are rigidly connected with each other. A sponge is overlapped on the springs to enable the springs to form an integral structure. The sponge needs to have a certain hardness and thickness to play a supporting and connecting role. The sponge is not easily handled, is large, and is not environmentally friendly. For a common mattresses, only the bedspread can be detached, while the sponge cannot be detached and cannot be easily cleaned. Even in a case where the latex may have some anti-mite effects, the elastic mattress may be usually used for several years, and the sponge being not easily cleaned causes great health risks.
Therefore, a design of the elastic mattress needs to be improved, so that use of the sponge can be reduced or not even be used. The elastic mattress prepared by the springs has better integrity, is easily cleaned, and has better comfort due to a reasonable setting of the springs.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSUREA first objective of the present disclosure provides an elastic mattress in which each of one or more first springs provides elasticity independently. Adjacent first springs of the one or more first springs rarely interfere with each other or do not interfere with each other, and tops of the one or more first springs need to be connected and fixed.
The elastic mattress of the present disclosure does not need foam with high cooperating strength or thick foam. Top surfaces of the one or more first springs can be lapped with a soft mattress, or no soft mattress needs to be added. The soft mattress can be springs wrapped with traditional face cloths and traditional bottom cloths or can be flexible materials, such as goose down, duck down, latex, etc.
A first technical solution of the present disclosure is as follows. An elastic module comprises a plurality of first springs. The plurality of first springs are arranged in an array or staggered, and a first one of the plurality of first springs and a second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs (e.g., adjacent first springs of the plurality of first springs) contact or approach. Each of the plurality of first springs is a single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by a flexible material, and upper parts of the plurality of first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the plurality of first springs. Multiple first springs of the plurality of first springs on an outer periphery of the elastic module are connected by one or more connectors or connecting parts extending from the flexible material.
In a preferred embodiment, the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs on the outer periphery of the elastic module are connected from top to bottom.
In a preferred embodiment, the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs on an inner periphery of the elastic module are connected by the one or more connectors (e.g., one or more elastic connectors) at any position except at upper ends of the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs. The upper ends of the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs range from top ends of the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs to ¼ length of the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs.
In a preferred embodiment, the single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by the flexible material is a cloth sleeve that sleeves a side surface of a spring and part or all of a top surface and a bottom surface of the spring to achieve a pre-compression of the spring, and the cloth sleeve does not need to completely cover all surfaces of the spring. For example, the spring can be wrapped by a flexible net or wrapped by a woven tape.
In a preferred embodiment, the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs are adjacent first springs of the plurality of first springs in a same row or in different rows. The same row can be understood as an X-axis direction, and the different rows can be understood as the X-axis direction and a direction excluding the X-axis direction, including a Y-axis direction.
A second objective of the present disclosure is to provide a structure for elastically limiting lateral movement due to a combination of one or more first springs and one or more second springs with various sizes and complementary shapes to achieve independent elastic supporting.
A second technical solution of the present disclosure is as follows. An elastic module comprises a plurality of first springs, one or more second springs, and one or more connectors. The plurality of first springs are arranged in a lateral array, and adjacent first springs of the plurality of first springs contact or approach. Clearances between the plurality of first springs are filled using the one or more second springs, and each of the plurality of first springs is a single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by a flexible material. Upper parts of the plurality of first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the plurality of first springs, and a movement of part of (e.g., most of) the plurality of first springs disposed below the upper parts of the plurality of first springs is limited by springs of the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs adjacent to the plurality of first springs. Multiple first springs of the plurality of first springs on a periphery of the elastic module are connected by one or more connectors.
In a preferred embodiment, the plurality of first springs are aligned in parallel in a lateral direction and a longitudinal direction. Four adjacent first springs of the plurality of first springs are filled with a corresponding second spring of the one or more second springs. The lateral direction can be understood as an X-axis direction, and the longitudinal direction can be understood as a Y-axis direction.
In a preferred embodiment, the plurality of first springs are connected by the one or more connectors at any position from upper ends of the plurality of first springs to bottoms of the plurality of first springs, or the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs are connected by the one or more connectors at any position from the upper ends of the one or more first springs to bottoms of the plurality of first springs, and the upper ends of the plurality of first springs range from top ends of the plurality of first springs to ¼ length of the plurality of first springs.
In a preferred embodiment, each of the one or more second springs is a single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by a flexible material. The plurality of first springs are irregular springs. Lower sections of the irregular springs define tapered shapes, and upper sections of the irregular springs define inverted tapered shapes. Top surfaces of the irregular springs protrude outward. Bottom parts of the plurality of first springs are large and stably placed, and the tapered shapes enable a hardness of waists of the plurality of first springs to be increased. The top surfaces of the irregular springs are spherical shapes and are easily compressed, and an elastic touch is good. Upper covers can be added to the top surfaces of the irregular springs to enable the top surfaces of the irregular springs to be uniformly pressed, and the upper covers are preferably made by elastic materials.
In a preferred embodiment, the one or more connectors disposed on an outer periphery of the plurality of first springs are a fixed belt, buckles, or glue to bind the plurality of first springs disposed on the outer periphery in series.
A third technical solution of the present disclosure is as follows. An elastic module comprises one or more first springs, one or more second springs, and one or more connectors. The one or more first springs and the one or more second springs are arranged in sequence, and adjacent springs of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs contact or approach. The one or more first springs and the one or more second springs are compressed to generate a pre-stress force and wrapped by flexible materials. The one or more first springs are slim-waisted shapes, and the one or more second springs are shaped as waist drums. Upper parts of the one or more first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs. A movement of part of (e.g., most of) the one or more first springs below the upper parts of the one or more first springs is limited by springs of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs adjacent to the one or more first springs and are connected by multiple connectors of the one or more connectors disposed on a periphery of the elastic module. Therefore, shapes of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs are fitted, and the one or more first springs are limited by the one or more second springs. However, only the waists of the one or more first springs are limited, and a limitation to the waists are elastic and are not rigid, so that the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs provide good comfort and independence.
The elastic mattress of the present disclosure comprises one or more aforementioned elastic modules.
The one or more first springs (or the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs) of the elastic module of the present disclosure provide elasticity independently, have little influence with each other, and have little interference with each other. A first embodiment of the present disclosure achieves a close arrangement of the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs in the elastic mattress due to different sizes of the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs. The one or more second springs limit swinging of the one or more first springs in a direction of the side surfaces of the plurality of first springs. The one or more second springs are used to prevent the swinging of the plurality of first springs to avoid a rigid discomfort feeling from being generated. A second embodiment of the present disclosure provides a staggered arrangement of the plurality of first springs to enable the plurality of first springs to be densely arranged. At the same time, the waists of the plurality of first springs are connected by elastic parts, and the upper ends (or the upper parts) of the plurality of first springs are not limited by the one or more connectors, so that the plurality of first springs define an integral structure without a rigid frame. At the same time, independence of each of the plurality of first springs is rarely or not affected. An overall elasticity of the elastic mattress can be achieved without a thick sponge layer or other soft pads. Therefore, T the elastic mattress of the present disclosure does not require the thick sponge layer of a traditional spring mattress to enable the elastic mattress to have integrity. A flexible mattress can be added to the elastic mattress of the present disclosure, such as duck down, goose down, latex, etc., to be used as a spring bed mattress. A thickness of the flexible mattress is no more than 10 cm, generally 5-6 cm. As a replacement, no flexible mattress is added to the elastic mattress.

The arrangement and the one or more connectors 5 in the embodiments do not limit the elastic module 4 of the present disclosure and the elastic mattress made by the elastic module 4. A person of skill in the art may combine the elastic module 4 through other arrangements. The one or more connectors 5 are not only those specified in these embodiments, as long as the waists of the plurality of first springs 1 or the one or more first springs 21 and the one or more second springs 2, 22 can be connected together using the one or more connectors 5. The elastic module 4 can form the elastic mattress in alternative ways.
Claims
1. An elastic module, comprising:
- a plurality of first springs, wherein: the plurality of first springs are arranged in an array or staggered, a first one of the plurality of first springs and a second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs contact or approach, each of the plurality of first springs is a single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by a flexible material, upper parts of the plurality of first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the plurality of first springs, and multiple first springs of the plurality of first springs on an outer periphery of the elastic module are connected by one or more connectors or connecting parts extending from the flexible material.
2. The elastic module according to claim 1, wherein the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs on the outer periphery of the elastic module are connected from top to bottom.
3. The elastic module according to claim 1, wherein the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs adjacent to the first one of the plurality of first springs on an inner periphery of the elastic module are connected by the one or more connectors at any position except at upper ends of the first one of the plurality of first springs and the second one of the plurality of first springs.
4. The elastic module according to claim 1, wherein:
- the plurality of first springs are irregular springs,
- lower sections of the irregular springs define tapered shapes, and
- upper sections of the irregular springs define inverted tapered shapes.
5. The elastic module according to claim 2, wherein:
- the flexible material of the plurality of first springs are sleeved by the one or more connectors,
- the one or more connectors comprise connecting parts,
- the one or more connectors are buckled with each other or lapped by third pieces, and
- a connection between the one or more connectors is an elastic connection.
6. An elastic module, comprising:
- a plurality of first springs,
- one or more second springs, and
- one or more connectors, wherein: the plurality of first springs are arranged in a lateral array, adjacent first springs of the plurality of first springs contact or approach, clearances between the plurality of first springs are filled using the one or more second springs, each of the plurality of first springs is a single spring that is pre-compressed and wrapped by a flexible material, upper parts of the plurality of first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the plurality of first springs, a movement of part of the plurality of first springs disposed below the upper parts of the plurality of first springs is limited by springs of the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs adjacent to the plurality of first springs, and multiple first springs of the plurality of first springs on a periphery of the elastic module are connected by the one or more connectors.
7. The elastic module according to claim 6, wherein:
- the plurality of first springs are connected by the one or more connectors at any position below upper ends of the plurality of first springs, or
- the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs are connected by the one or more connectors at any position below the upper ends of the plurality of first springs.
8. The elastic module according to claim 6, wherein:
- the one or more second springs are pre-compressed and wrapped by flexible materials,
- the plurality of first springs are irregular springs,
- lower sections of the irregular springs define tapered shapes, and
- upper sections of the irregular springs define inverted tapered shapes.
9. The elastic module according to claim 6, wherein:
- the flexible material of the plurality of first springs is sleeved with the one or more connectors,
- the one or more connectors comprise connecting parts, and
- the one or more connectors are buckled with each other or lapped by third pieces.
10. The elastic module according to claim 9, wherein:
- waist rings are sleeved on the plurality of first springs or the one or more second springs,
- the one or more connectors comprises two pins, and
- the two pins are respectively disposed in the waist rings of one or more cloth sleeves of adjacent springs of the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs to connect the plurality of first springs and the one or more second springs together.
11. The elastic module according to claim 9, wherein:
- waists of the plurality of first springs comprise one or more elastic connectors,
- the one or more elastic connectors define ring shapes,
- the ring shapes comprise expandable notches,
- the expandable notches are configured to be embedded in the plurality of first springs,
- the one or more connectors extend out to define lapping parts disposed on the ring shapes, and
- the one or more connectors connect two adjacent first springs of the plurality of first springs.
12. The elastic module according to claim 6, wherein:
- one or more connectors of the one or more connectors disposed on an outer periphery of the plurality of first springs are a fixed belt, buckles, or glue to bind the plurality of first springs disposed on the outer periphery in series.
13. An elastic module, comprising:
- one or more first springs,
- one or more second springs, and
- one or more connectors, wherein: the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs are arranged in sequence, adjacent springs of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs contact or approach, the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs are compressed to generate a pre-stress force and wrapped by flexible materials, the one or more first springs are slim-waisted shapes, the one or more second springs are shaped as waist drums, upper parts of the one or more first springs have swingable spaces on side surfaces of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs, a movement of part of the one or more first springs below the upper parts of the one or more first springs is limited by springs of the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs adjacent to the one or more first springs, and the one or more first springs and the one or more second springs adjacent to the one or more first springs are connected by the one or more connectors.
14. The elastic module according to claim 13, wherein the upper parts of the one or more first springs range from top ends of the one or more first springs to ¼ length of the one or more first springs.
15. An elastic mattress, comprising:
- one or more elastic modules according to claim 1, and
- the one or more elastic modules cooperate to be connected with each other.
16. The elastic mattress according to claim 15, comprising:
- a flexible mattress, the one or more elastic modules are combined under the flexible mattress, and the flexible mattress wraps an upper side of the one or more elastic modules or an upper side and a periphery of the one or more elastic modules.
17. The elastic mattress according to claim 15, comprising:
- a bottom part, wherein: at least one of the plurality of first springs or one or more second springs in the one or more elastic modules are connected to the bottom part by bonding or clamping.
18. The elastic module according to claim 1, wherein the flexible material comprises a cloth sleeve.
19. The elastic module according to claim 6, wherein the flexible material comprises a cloth sleeve.
20. The elastic module according to claim 13, wherein the flexible materials comprise a cloth sleeve.
