FIG. 1 is a front, top and left side perspective view of a programmable scanning radio receiver or the like showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view with the lower right sliding door in closed position; and

FIG. 3 is a right side elevational view.

The rear and bottom of the receiver are substantially plain.
