FIG. 2 is a rear elevatiional view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a left side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view thereof with the handset telephone unit removed;

FIG. 5 is a front elevational view of the answering instrument with the handset unit removed;

FIG. 6 is a right side view of the instrument elevational shown in FIG. 4;

FIG. 7 is a bottom plan view of the combined instrument shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 8 is a bottom plan view of the handset instrument unit thereof;

FIG. 9 is a top plan view of the unit showing in FIG. 8;

FIG. 10 is a left side elevational view of the handset telephone unit;

FIG. 11 is an end elevational view of the handset telephone; and

FIG. 12 is an elevational view of the other end of the handset telephone unit shown in FIG. 8.

The coiled electric cord shown in FIG. 1 is omitted in the other eleven figures for facility of clarification and illustration.
