FIG. 1 is a top plan view of a dinner plate or similar article showing our new design, it being understood that the pattern disclosed is continuous about the entire periphery in the path included within the borken lines;

FIG. 2 is an enlarged fragmentary sectional view taken along the line 2--2 of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a partial top plan view on an enlarged scale; and,

FIG. 4 is a front elevational view, the rear, left and right side elevational views being a mirror image.

The bottom of the dinner plate or similar article is of conventional configuration.
