FIG. 1 is a front elevational view of a surgical instrument for suturing showing our new design, shown in open position, the rear elevational view being a mirror image thereof;

FIG. 2 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a lefthand end elevational view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a righthand end elevational view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a front elevational view thereof, shown in closed position, the rear elevational view being a mirror image thereof;

FIG. 7 is a front elevational view at an enlarged scale showing the distal end of the surgical instrument in open position;

FIG. 8 is an enlarged fragmentary elevational view of the distal end of the instrument shown in closed position; and,

FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the distal end of the instrument in the open position to receive a suture.

The broken line showing of the handle and suture in FIGS. 1-6 and 9 is for illustrative purpose only and forms no part of the claimed design.
