Description

FIG. 1 is a front view in elevation of the first embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a rear view in elevation of the first embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a right side view in elevation of the first embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 1;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view of the embodiment of the first antenna for an automobile of FIG. 1;

FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view of the embodiment of the first antenna for an automobile of FIG. 1;

FIG. 6 is a front view in elevation of a second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of the present invention showing the antenna elements in a retracted position;

FIG. 7 is a rear view in elevation of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 6;

FIG. 8 is a right side view in elevation of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 6;

FIG. 9 is a top plan view of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 6;

FIG. 10 is a bottom plan view of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 6;

FIG. 11 is a front view in elevation of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 6 showing the antenna elements in an extended position;

FIG. 13 is a right side view in elevation of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 11;

FIG. 14 is a top plan view of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 11; and,

FIG. 15 is a bottom plan view of the second embodiment of the antenna for an automobile of FIG. 11.

The left side views of the first and second embodiments are respectively mirror images of the right sides shown in FIGS. 3, 8, and 13.
