Description

FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a separable wheel having a double rim for two tires with a protective cover and mechanically operated retractable anti-skid devices of the present invention, showing my new design with only one anti-skid device and a central operating portion over a protective cover; the broken line showing of a handle for turning the central operating portion between the open and closed positions of the anti-skid devices shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 4 and 6-13, is for illustrative purposes only and forms no part of the claimed design;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view of FIG. 1, with a plurality of anti-skid devices shown in the extended or operating position;

FIG. 3 is a left side elevational view of FIG. 2, the right side being a mirror image thereof, without the air holes;

FIG. 4 is a front elevational view of FIG. 1, with a plurality of anti-skid devices shown in the retracted or non-operating position;

FIG. 5 is an exploded left side elevational view of FIG. 4, the right side being a mirror image thereof, without the air holes;

FIG. 6 is an enlarged fragmentary view of one of the extended anti-skid devices shown in FIG. 2;

FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 7—7 of FIG. 6;

FIG. 8 is an enlarged fragmentary view of one of the retracted anti-skid devices shown in FIG. 4;

FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 9—9 of FIG. 8;

FIG. 10 is an enlarged fragmentary view of the central operating portion shown in FIG. 4;

FIG. 11 is an enlarged fragmentary view of the central operating portion shown in FIG. 2;

FIG. 12 is a top plan view of FIG. 10;

FIG. 13 is a top plan view of FIG. 11;

FIG. 14 is a front elevational view of FIG. 1, with some of anti-skid devices shown in the extended or operating position and some of the anti-skid devices having their operating wires removed to allow them to remain in the retracted or non-operating position; and,

FIG. 15 is a left side elevational view of FIG. 14, the right side being a mirror image thereof, without the air holes.

The broken line showing of one inflatable tire in FIGS. 1, 2, 4, 6 and 14 and two inflatable tires in FIGS. 3, 5, 7 and 15, are for illustrative purposes only and form no part of the claimed design.

Claims

The ornamental design for a separable wheel having a double rim for two tires with a protective cover and mechanically operated retractable anti-skid devices, as shown and described.
