Truck bed shell
FIG. 1 is a front view of a truck bed shell showing my new design;
FIG. 2 is a back view thereof;
FIG. 3 is a front and top perspective view thereof; and,
FIG. 4 is a left side view thereof.
The application relates to the design of a uniquely shaped shell for the bed of a truck,specifically a pickup truck, made from fiberglass and reinforcing materials laid into a mold in the shape of the eventual product. The fiberglass and reinforcing materials are sprayed into the mold and allowed to dry, then removed from the mold, fitted with bolt holes for attachment to the truck bed, finished and painted. The lower, flat part of the invention covers the bed of the truck, with a handle that allows the user to open a hatch built into the bed cover portion of the invention to access the interior of the truck bed, and allow the user to lock and secure the interior of the truck bed after accessing it. The upper portion of the invention is an aesthetically attractive tunnel-shaped member which, in addition to its aesthetic qualities, aids in the aerodynamic shape of the invention and facilitates its securing to the truck.
The unique design and appearance of this device are illustrated in the drawings.
