Abstract: An interactive doll is disclosed where the doll is controlled by a remote control. When the user pushes a button on the remote control, it can cause the doll and the remote control to interact via electromagnetic transmissions where both emit sounds simultaneously or at different times. The remote control can represent various items, including mobile phones and birthday cakes.
Abstract: This invention is directed toward a display rack for the sale of removable textured deck applications for miniature skateboards which can also serve as a miniature test course for a prospective purchaser to sample the merchandise before making the decision whether to buy. The display rack has a base heavy enough to keep the display rack upright, with one or more miniature skatepark features such as quarterpipes, grind rails, ramps, steps, or other testing obstacles and surfaces upon which a finger skateboard can be used. Upright members hold horizontal pegs in place from which packaged textured applications can hang.
Abstract: This invention is directed toward a map overlaying a lighted display box. The map has a plurality of magnified eye holes though which a person can view lighted, magnified pictures or photographs. The map can be easily opened such that the pictures can be interchanged, such that a user may begin with a map containing generic, stock photos of various national parks, surf spots, or baseball stadiums, then, over time, as the user physically visits these locations he/she can replace the stock photos with personalized photos. The color of light can be changed as well once a location is visited, to give the user a sense of visual association and accomplishment.
Abstract: A device and method for the sea-based culture of sea urchins and abalones includes two parallel lateral elements, where each one of their ends has a groove and a hole for the installation of four braces. The center areas of the braces have a plurality of parallel and equidistant guides for the installation of a plurality of vertically inserted plates, forming spaces between the plates that permit housing sea urchins or abalones on both faces of such plates. At the bottom of the device a horizontal tray holds algae for feeding sea urchins and the abalones; wherein, both the plurality of plates and the tray are enclosed in an elongated mesh, wherein the ends of the mesh are joined to the ends of the lateral walls of the tray, such that the length of the mesh wraps around the plurality of plates.
Abstract: This invention is directed toward an airtight, refrigerated cosmetics handbag that can be used as a stand alone product or inserted into other, larger handbags. The handbag has a pocket in the top panel into which frozen gel packs can be inserted, so that heat-sensitive cosmetics are cooled from the top. The exterior of the handbag is constructed of heat-shielding and/or heat reflective materials. The inside of the handbag additionally comprises means by which the cosmetics can be retained in a safe but compact form, and, optionally, a bi-directionally modifiable valve through which excess air can be removed subsequent to the cosmetics being placed in the handbag. The handbag can be manufactured in a variety of sizes and shapes, and, preferentially, from recycled materials.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a garment (such as a short, shirt, pants and other garments) having a stretchable section preferably of neoprene, that provides for improved comfort and wearability. The other panels or fabric portions of the garment may be constructed of a relatively less stretchable or even a relatively inelastic material, and the stretchable portion is positioned in an “area of flex” of the garment (so that the stretchable portion can “stretch” when the wearer rotates limbs extending into the garment). Related methods are disclosed for garment fabrication and the like.
Abstract: The Invention provides specific and proprietary means to digitally record CCTV inspection Header Information, Defect Observation Data, GPS information, and Distance Information; combine this data into a single digital file; and store it within single video files preferable over digital video format like MPEG, DiviX, Microsoft Windows Media, DVD, or related formats—from which it may be retrieved by compatible application software and serve as a basis for inspection viewing, reviewing, evaluation, mapping, report generation, and other uses provided or supported by compatible application software features. Formatted media can be played with media player like Microsoft media player, real player, Dix Player, Quick time player like computer based player and/or with any external media player like DVD player which can be connected to system like television for viewing.
