Description

FIG. 1 is a side view of a catheter assembly in accordance with the present invention, including the catheter hub and a connector;

FIG. 2 is one end view of the hub of the catheter of the assembly;

FIG. 3 is a side view thereof;

FIG. 4 is the other end view;

FIG. 5 is an end view of the connector;

FIG. 6 is a side view of a second embodiment of a catheter assembly in accordance with the invention, this embodiment including the catheter hub and a rigid cannula;

FIG. 7 is one end view of the rigid cannula;

FIG. 8 is a side view of a third embodiment of a catheter assembly in accordance with the invention, this embodiment including the catheter hub and a flexible cannula or trocar;

FIG. 9 is one end view of the flexible cannula or trocar; and,

FIG. 10 is a side view of a fourth embodiment of a catheter assembly in accordance with the invention, this embodiment including the catheter hub and both a rigid cannula and a trocar.
