The microprocessor also compares the maximum pressure signal value generated therefrom, under certain conditions, to a threshold value indicative of the trash compactor having a substantially empty compactor and to a threshold value indicative of the trash compactor having a substantially full container.

The rear end of the casing is formed with an axial bore wherein a hard dense penetrator rod is received, preferably made of tungsten or tungsten carbide. Behind the penetrator rod, the casing has an enlarged bore wherein an incendiary pellet is received, preferably comprising zirconium crystals molded in an epoxy matrix. A massive closure plug closes the enlarged bore behind the incendiary pellet. Upon impact with a target, the frangible casing disintegrates into granular fragments while the penetrator rod punches a hole in the target through which the fragments are propelled.

The flotation levels of the cylinders may be adjusted by varying the amount of water in the internal cylinders. The buffer may be thereby adjusted to optimally dampen the noise from water lapping against the hull for various different hull designs and shapes.

A flexible netting connects the two pieces of material on three sides to form an enclosure that slides over the animal's snout. An adjustable strap is attached to the open end of the enclosure and extends from a point near the animal's throat to a point behind the animal's ears to form a collar around the animal's head and neck. A suitable fastener is affixed to the strap so that the length of the strap can be adjusted for maximum comfort and fit on the animal's head. The resultant muzzle allows the dog complete breathing ability while restricting dog bites and is almost impossible for the dog to pull off.
