    Abstract: At the front waistband of a feminine undergarment, a clip holding band is equipped by sewing horizontal and vertical threads in a grid form, and below the clip holding band, a date portion is located in which numerals and heart shapes are printed in two lines. Both edges of the clip holding band are designed to be sewn as to extend from the date portion. At first, a gold heart-shaped clip is hooked on the right end portion and a silver heart-shaped clip is hooked on the left end of the clip holding band with a vertical pin and a horizontal pin. Moving the clip on to the clip holding band above the date of the date portion below and allowing the vertical pin tip end to protrude from the clip holding band enables the clip to indicate the date below. This enables the recording of the date when the period began and allows for the computation of the time until the next period begins.

A crank arm or other wind-up device is provided to be connected at least to one end of the flexible shaft for applying torque to the flexible shaft. The flexible shaft can transmit the torque through the length thereof to roll up the swimming pool cover on the flexible shaft. The flexible shaft and swimming pool cover are adapted to float on the surface of the water, and when it is necessary to store the rolled-up swimming pool cover, it is removed completely from the swimming pool and stored remote therefrom.

In another embodiment, a hinge assembly is connected between the base member and the clamp assembly.

    Abstract: A fixing device with a locking mechanism includes a bolt having a hexagonal head, a seat attached to the bottom face of the bolt head, and a washer to be fit onto the threaded shaft of the bolt. The seat has an engagement portion which is raised from an outer edge of the seat along a side face of the bolt head to restrain the free rotation of the bolt with respect to the seat, and an elastic engagement pawl outwardly extending from a lateral end of the engagement portion. The washer has a plurality of engagement grooves which are engagable with the engagement pawl, and an antislipping means provided on the side which contacts the surface of a member to be fastened. When the bolt is fastened, the engagement pawl engages with one of the engagement grooves of the washer. This prevents the hexagon-head bolt from turning in a loosening direction. A locking function can be added to the fixing device without additionally machining the bolt or a member to be fastened.

The inflatable sacs are pressurized and maintained at a predetermined pressure. This predetermined pressure may be a patient height and weight specific pressure profile. A vibrating component is provided separate from the apparatus for pressurizing and maintaining the air sacs at the predetermined pressure. The vibrating component vibrates at least a portion of the patient support surface at a predetermined frequency.

    Abstract: A roller brush and method of making same for sweeping machines for cleaning streets and roads. The brush includes cassettes arranged in brackets around the periphery of a roller and extending in the longitudinal direction of the roller. The cassettes receive spring members, such as radially projecting bristles, the ends of which are brought in contact with ground when the brush is used for cleaning. The cassettes are received in grooves in the brackets. The spring members are bent double around a locking wire which acts to hold the members in the cassettes and which passes through holes in connecting cross walls extending from facing long sides of the cassettes. The connecting cross walls are provided at spaced locations along the cassette thereby defining cells on the cassette. The spaced connecting cross walls act to increase the rigidity of the cassette.

The hand grip has a multiply-angled surface, in which the primary hand can assume a substantially straight-angled position (180.degree. angle) with respect to the axis of the wrist. The correct hand position varies with each tool and with each work surface. The proper grip angle for a particular task allows the hand to maintain a straight angle with respect to the wrist axis, while also imparting the driving force of the arm into the shaft of the tool.

    Abstract: A buckle device for shoes includes a base member secured on a first upper side portion of a shoe upper, a detent device pivotally and resiliently mounted on the base member having at least a pawl formed on a bottom portion of the detent device for locking a ratchet toothed strap secured to a second upper side portion of the shoe upper with the strap insertable through the base member, and an adjusting device resiliently secured on at least a cantilever mounted on the base member to be normally separable from the ratchet toothed strap for a fastening of the strap on the base member as locked by the detent device, and the adjusting device operatively driving the ratchet toothed strap step by step for microscopically adjusting the tightness of the strap and the shoe to be worn by a user.

The cutters cut the inner corrugations or the valleys of the pipe as the pipe is passed over the perforating device. Pipe is perforated by advancing it over a perforating device, and curing the pipe from the inner pipe surface to the outer pipe surface.

The rolling mill also cracks the scale on the surface of the final gauge thickness strip. An annealing section anneals the final gauge thickness strip received from the rolling mill. A pickling section pickles the annealed strip from the annealing section and removes the scale from the surface. Preferably, a molten salt bath section provided between the annealing section and the pickling section conditions the scale cracked in the cold rolling section and passes the conditioned stainless steel to the pickling section.

The liquid pressure driver apparatus is adapted to pass liquid material therefrom which is sprayed from the sub-miniature aerosolizer.
