Patent number: RE36663Abstract: In an improved selection tungsten metallization system, a plurality of orifices (20) are cut into a first level dielectric layer (18). A nucleation layer (52), preferably Ti-W alloy, is then formed in each orifice (20) and on the outer surface of the first dielectric layer (18) in a second-level metallization pattern. A second dielectric layer (30) is deposited over the first dielectric layer (18) and the nucleation layer (52), and a reverse second level metallization pattern is used to etch slots (58) back down to the nucleation layers (52) and into orifices (20). Thereafter, tungsten is deposited by selective CVD to fill the first level orifices (20) and the second level slots (58) until the upper surfaces (62) of the tungsten conductors (60) are substantially coplanar with the upper surface (38) of the second dielectric layer (30).Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 1995Date of Patent: April 18, 2000Assignee: Texas Instruments IncorporatedInventors: Gregory C. Smith, Thomas D. Bonifield

Patent number: RE36664Abstract: Manually segmenting animal carcasses into primary cuts involves an enormous amount of manual labor and attendant expense. However, known automated systems for segmenting carcasses cannot match the accuracy of expert butchers. The apparatus for segmenting animal carcasses disclosed herein provides an imaging station having a vision system that determines parameters of the interior and/or exterior of the carcass. Using these parameters, a computer determines a cutting path or a plurality of cutting paths for segmenting the carcass. A mounting vehicle, which securely holds the carcass, transports the carcass from the imaging station to a cutting station. In the cutting station, electrically controlled cutting implements, such as high-pressure water jets or lasers, segment the carcass along the determined cutting path or paths.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 1996Date of Patent: April 18, 2000Assignees: Texas Beef Group, William H. Patent number: RE36665Abstract: The present invention comprises novel preparations of polyoxypropylene/polyoxyethylene copolymers which retain the therapeutic activity of the commercial preparations, but are substantially free from the undesirable effects which are inherent in the prior art preparations. Because the preparations of polyoxypropylene/polyoxyethylene copolymers which comprise the present invention are a less polydisperse population of molecules than the prior art polyoxypropylene/polyoxyethylene copolymers, the biological activity of the copolymers is better defined and more predictable.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 1998Date of Patent: April 18, 2000Assignee: Cytrx CorporationInventors: R. Patent number: 6049910Abstract: A training glove which degrades the athlete's sense of touch in certain areas of his hand ("no touch areas"), to thereby encourage and train the athlete to control the ball with his finger tips. The glove includes padding on the palm, the thumb and fingers, except for the thumb tip and finger tips. The padding insulates the athlete's sense of touch in the no touch areas. Because the glove is light weight and preserves the full flexibility of the hand, the glove may be worn in competition. Thus, the glove is useful both as a training device and a performance enhancement device in competition.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 1999Date of Patent: April 18, 2000Inventor: Andre McCarter
