  • Patent number: 6145440
Abstract: The invention relates to a training weapon system for a portable recoilless anti-armor weapon of the type which comprises a sub-caliber insert barrel (1) arranged in the bore of the launching barrel of the full-caliber weapon. In order to improve the accuracy of the system and make it more safe as well as less expensive when compared to previous systems of this type, the sub-caliber insert barrel (1) has a rifled bore to make the training projectile spin stabilized. The forward aligning member (5) for centering the insert barrel (1) is engaging the ridges of the rifles in the rifled portion of the barrel in the recoilless full caliber weapon. By such an arrangement it can be avoided that length tolerances give rise to undesired radical deviations which might result in a mis-alignment of the insert barrel (1) within the gun bore. This could happen with the forward aligning member engaging the conical, smooth-bored firing chamber in the barrel.

  • Patent number: 6145443
Abstract: The invention is directed to a suspension for the running rail of a lifting mechanism at a girder, with a cable connecting the girder and the running rail. The ends of the cable are detachably connected with one another by a connection element. To prevent tearing of the redundant suspension or to prevent the cable clamps from damaging the cables in the event of sudden loading, for example, if the primary running rail fastening system tears or breaks, the connection element formed of two wedge locks connected to one another are arranged in such a way that one wedge lock is rotated by 180 degrees relative to the other wedge lock. Accordingly, the working directions of the wedges clamping the ends of the cable are oppositely directed. The ends of the cable which run in from opposite directions can be guided back in the direction opposite to their running-in direction after deflection around the wedges of the wedge locks such that they can be clamped by the wedges, at least under load.

  • Patent number: 6145482
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for producing a rotary motion force, using an internal combustion engine, rotary-reciprocal type, consisting of a housing, a piston, a rotor, a shaft, a rotary reciprocal guiding system, fuel intake system and an ignition system. This rotary reciprocal engine is an improvement over known engines of this type, because it has a longer expansion and suction strokes, and a shorter compression and exhaustion strokes, thereby producing more rotary motion per ignition. This internal combustion engine has many uses which are commonly known, but this apparatus may also be used as a compressor, as a pump, as an engine, powered by an expanding heating liquid or gas, or a combination of the above.

  • Patent number: 6145483
Abstract: A two-cycle internal combustion engine includes a control valve disposed in a communicating passage for communicating the combustion chamber to a chamber portion adjacent to the combustion chamber. The control valve controls the opening and closing of the communicating passage. A fuel or an air-fuel mixture is supplied into the combustion chamber through the communicating passage. The fuel injection opening of the communicating passage has a height which is smaller than the distance between outermost side surfaces of the piston rings to reduce the amount of the air-fuel mixture or combustion gas leaking from the combustion chamber into the crank chamber through gaps between the piston and the opening. Therefore, reduction in engine output or seizure of the piston due to local temperature rise is avoided.
