Abstract: A mobile communication terminal device of the present invention includes: a voltage detector for detecting a battery voltage at the time of a voltage drop; a correction phase storage section for storing pieces of correction phase information each having a characteristic opposite to that of a phase error in a carrier wave produced due to a drop in the battery voltage; a correction phase outputting section for selecting correction phase information based on the battery voltage at the time of the voltage drop and outputting the selected correction phase information to a baseband modulator to change phase information in a baseband signal; and a modulator for modulating a carrier wave according to the baseband signal output from the correction phase outputting section so as to cancel the phase error included in the carrier wave.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a private microcellular telecommunications network comprising a number of network nodes (10,20,30,40) serving as home location nodes for a number of cordless telephones respectively and also keeping information relating to identity (authentication) and current location for the respective cordless telephones. Each network nodes serving as a home location node uses a distributed database function for the home location node functionality which is distributed among the network nodes when needed and it comprises means for using a separate connection (25) for sending enquiry messages and receiving reply messages. The invention also relates to a method of managing mobility in a microcellular private telecommunications network and to a network node in such a network.

Over the communication channel, a first local PLMN transmits a position request to a second remote PLMN covering a remote service area within which a roaming mobile station is positioned. In response to the position request, the second PLMN transmits position information related to the roaming mobile station to the first PLMN, preferably, over the same communication channel.

Abstract: On the basis of the fact that short messages are sent by a communication terminal of a mobile subscriber into a mobile radio network and are routed to a switching facility responsible for the mobile subscriber, the short message together with an address which identifies a service facility responsible for dealing with the short message service for the mobile subscriber is received by the switching facility. The short messages are routed for temporary storage in the service facility and for transmission to a communication terminal of another subscriber if the received address is contained in an address table of the switching facility.

Abstract: An individual parameter with respect to a required receptivity is determined for at least one service, and is sent by a base station, in a radio communications system which offers a number of services for mobile stations via a radio interface in a radio cell. A mobile station receives and evaluates the parameter, then compares the current receptivity of emissions of the base station with the parameter. The service is requested by the mobile station in dependence on the result of the comparison. The invention is suitable for use in TDMA and CDMA transmission systems.

A unique identification code is assigned to a mobile telephone located in the cell. A signal having a unique identification code is generated for identifying the mobile telephone. The signal is coupled to the zones. A combiner is also provided for combining signals from all of the zones in the cell. The vehicle control system of the invention is provided with a motor generator capable of transmitting the torque to rear wheels without passing through the transmission, and is structured so as to increase the torque transmitted from the motor generator to the rear wheels upon gear shifting of the transmission. According to this control system, a decrease in torque to be transmitted from the motor generator to the rear wheels is able to be suppressed during gear shifting with no need for an additional drive source.
