Abstract: A nozzle configuration and control methodology adapted to provide a compact means for configuring and operating an industrial gas turbine on either gaseous or liquid fuel while utilizing fuel staging to achieve very low emissions. More specifically, the outer fuel nozzles are used for delivery of a portion of the premix gaseous fuel and all liquid fuel, but not diffusion gaseous fuel. Water injection for emissions control on liquid fuel and atomizing air for the liquid fuel are also supplied entirely by the outer fuel nozzles. The central fuel nozzle is thus used for the supply of both premix gaseous fuel and all diffusion gaseous fuel. The disclosed configuration reduces the number of required fluid passages thus simplifying the endcover structure while enabling fuel staging to achieve very low emissions on gaseous fuel.

The gas cooling means causes cooling gas to flow through the milling chamber to remove a quantity of heat (Q2) during the ball mill operation. The generated quantity of heat (Qo) can be counterbalanced with the sum of the removed quantities of heat (Q1) and (Q2) so as to prevent the inside of the milling chamber from overheating, so that the ball mill can operate in the condition of Qo/V≧0.

Abstract: Rhythm sensations can be represented in time to music by using the entire body and to create powerfulness and rhythm sensations. Stepping position indication data which is set by a rhythm setting section is read from a stepping position indication data memory, and the stepping position instruction contents are scrolled and displayed on a monitor by a scroll display control section, thereby performing instructions of the stepping position and the stepping operation timing. When the fact that a player steps on a step-on base section in accordance with the display contents of the monitor is detected by a cable switch and this is input from a stepping operation monitor section, a score proportional to the timing deviation is calculated by an amount-of-deviation detection/totaling section, and next, an evaluation is performed by the rhythm setting section. Then, the next stepping position indication data is set according to the evaluation result.

The supporting cylinder is driven by a motor. The apparatus allows the supporting cylinder to be exposed at an end opposite the motor by its journal together with the mounting accommodating the journal. Thus, the supporting cylinder is capable of being moved away from the frame at one end, which makes it possible to draw the printing plate axially off the supporting cylinder. The apparatus can be used to produce a variety of printing plates, including: a relief printing plate, an off-set printing plate, a sleeve-like printing plate, and a gravure printing plate.

A Ferris wheel mechanism is provided, having a plurality of evenly spaced carriers mounted a predetermined radial distance from and parallel to the axis of rotation for the Ferris wheel mechanism, each carrier for rotatably holding a synthetic cork stopper. An indexing drive system controls incremental rotation of the Ferris wheel mechanism through a predetermined sequence of steps, and a cork feeder introduces a single synthetic cork stopper into each of the carriers as empty ones of the carriers are presented one-by-one at the cork feeder. A corona discharger treats the surface of each synthetic cork stopper prior to being printed with sufficient energy to alter the surface energy of the cork sufficiently to permit receptivity of printing ink. A rotary printing system rotatably imprints with ink the surface of each held synthetic cork stopper with an image.
