Abstract: A sealing structure for a rock drill bit includes an elastomeric diaphragm for installation in the drill bit so as to separate grease from drilling mud. The diaphragm has an aperture extending through it, and a plug is disposed in the aperture so as to form a mechanical seal with a wall of the aperture. The plug has a channel therethrough which is normally held sealed by a face of the aperture in the diaphragm. If the pressure of the grease exceeds pressure in mud on the other side of the diaphragm by more than a critical value, the diaphragm aperture deforms and allows grease to move through the plug channel and escape. The critical value can be varied by using, with the same diaphragm, plugs having different numbers, sizes and axial positions of plug channels.

Abstract: A torsion damping mechanism with a torsion damper with an input side and an output side, where the input side and the output side are connected elastically to each other by spring-type stored energy elements for rotation in common auxiliary mass which can rotate coaxially to the torsion damping mechanism is connected frictionally to the torsion damping mechanism by way of a friction area, where the frictional connection between the torsion damping mechanism and the auxiliary mass has a predetermined frictional moment. When this moment is exceeded during the occurrence of peaks in the torque being applied to the torsion damping mechanism, the auxiliary mass can slip or slips.

These production lines are coupled to an automatic depot with a carriage system. This keeps the rate of operation of production lines high, so that useless increase in cost for equipments can be prevented. Moreover, this production system allows a production line or an equipment to be easily added in accordance with variation in the production rate or the type of products.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a device for singulating individual logs from groups of logs for linear or transverse processing. The present invention discloses a log singulator having a fully rotatable lifter arm member, i.e., 360 degrees rotatable, which is used to singulate logs from groups of logs. The rotatable axle of the lifter arm may be located above the upstream “V” of the log cradle member. Furthermore, the lifter arm of the present invention will positively push the logs over the top point of the log cradle because it is rounded at the top point, thereby allowing the tip of lifter arm to remain in contact with the log. Lifter arms with 1 to 4 lifter arm tips are disclosed.

The upper clamp member (52) is within the conveyor slat (70) and its side portions are above the conveyor slat flanges (78, 80). The lower clamp member (54) is welded or otherwise secured to a transverse drive beam (56). Its side portions are below the conveyor slat bottom flanges (78, 80). Bolts (164) project upwardly through openings in the transverse drive beam (56) and the lower clamp member (54) and thread into threaded openings (160) in the upper clamp member (52). Or, bolts (170) extend downwardly from the upper clamp part (52) through openings in the lower clamp part (54) and openings in the drive beam (56), to nuts (170) that are below the drive beam (56).
