Abstract: A toilet bowl includes a toilet seat, a seat cover and connections which are to be operated by mutually connecting backward tail ends of the seat and backward tail ends of the cover. The toilet seat is integrally formed with egg shaped twin protrusions on a backward tail end central region of the seat by an injection molding process. The twin protrusions include a left protrusion and a right protrusion, top surfaces on the protrusions, a front groove and a rear groove, and a boundary surface formed between the protrusions by grooves. By repeated rocking type motions for the compression and relaxation motions of each of the gluteal muscles of the user on the top surfaces of the seat having the twin protrusions, the user massages lower regions of the rectum of the user in cyclic motions of the rectum as in a conventional massage mode.

Abstract: A neck massage apparatus for use in a spa hot tub system. The massage apparatus includes a pair of rotating jet nozzles located at a height near the neck of a user thereof sitting in the spa, wherein the jet nozzles are coupled to a source of water and air, respectively. A pliable membrane is disposed over the jet nozzles for restraining the water and air and for imparting a massage sensation to the user in response to movement of the water and air. Controlled size orifices are placed in the back of the apparatus to allow the water and air to escape. The size of these orifices are controlled to be slightly greater in area than the area of the combined air and water source pipes, thereby placing adequate pressure on the membrane to adapt to the shape of the user's neck and to impart a massage sensation.

Abstract: A system for use in a spa for controlling air flow to jets of the spa having a water pump directing water to a water input of a jet nozzle; and a valve directing exhaust air from the water pump to an air input of the jet nozzle, the valve being operated by a vacuum generated at the intake of the water pump, whereby when the water pump is operating and pumping water to the jet nozzle, the valve is opened for directing the exhaust air from the water pump to the jet nozzle. The valve is an air-check valve that has a piston for closing the valve under spring pressure and operative in response to a vacuum for overcoming the spring pressure so as to open the valve.

Abstract: The invention consists of an inflatable toilet seat shaped tube that is vulcanized to a nylon (or similar material) partial bed sheet. The sheet has two ropes or cords on each side to attach to the bed frame to keep the tube centered on the bed. A hose connects the toilet seat tube to a compressed air reservoir. A valve on the reservoir allows compressed air to inflate the tube raising the patient about 4 or 5 inches (the height of a bed pan). The bed pan can then be placed under the patient through the open end of the tube. After the bed pan is removed, the compressed air valve can be actuated to deflate the tube to a flat configuration. This invention will greatly reduce the pain and suffering of patients. This mechanical process replaces a manual process thereby reducing back strain and fatigue for nurses and caregivers.

Abstract: A replaceable cartridge (20) is provided suitable for use with a rotary handpiece that is particularly adapted for shearing sheep. The cartridge (20) is provided with a plurality of radially directed projections (24) with which are associated a plurality of aligned recesses (26) for releasably receiving cutting elements in the form of elongate chips (22) preferably having a V-shape with a centrally located longitudinal groove. The replaceable cartridge allows for the quick and easy replacement of blunt or damaged cutting chips by either allowing individual chips to be replaced within the cartridge or by replacing the cartridge with a fresh cartridge having new chips.

Abstract: The disposable cutting head is basically a four element clip together assembly with a base, lower and upper cutting blades, and spring. The base serves as the support for the entire assembly and incorporates the attachment elements for retention to a clipper. The spring holds the elements together, forces the cutting blades together and includes the runner under which the upper blade slides. The entire assembly is such that the head assembly with blades is of the disposable type, but uses metal blades. If desired the blades alone may be disposed and the head assembly reused; however, the structure is not intended for long wear and use. The head and blades are constructed such that the common problems encountered with existing removable/disposable heads and blades as for example heat retention in the blades and head and the catching and pulling of hair are minimized. Use with clipper comb elements is also accommodated.

The invention is a square of thick aluminum plate in the shape of a right isosceles triangle with a handle fitted and perpendicular to the hypotenuse. A rabbet cut is made in the edges of equal sides of the triangular carpenter's square. A second embodiment employs adjustable feeler bars in place of the rabbet cut for checking the square of window and door jambs. Also, the miters or feeler bars facilitate the laying out of short points on the jams for miter cutting.

Abstract: An article of footwear with a bladder system providing cushioning and dynamic motion control in a multi-bladder system. The bladder system gives the needed amount of motion control by stiffening a portion of the footwear in response to the individual user's side-to-side motion. When used in the heel, the bladder system takes into consideration a center-of-pressure pathway of the foot to increase medial stiffness in response to lateral-to-medial rotation of the foot, so the more a user pronates, the stiffer the medial portion of the footwear is made. The bladder system provides comfort and control without the extra weight and bulk of prior art support structures. The bladder system dynamically changes the stiffness of a portion of the footwear when pressure is applied thereto, and returns to equilibrium when the pressure is removed.

Abstract: A skid-steer loader implement or bucket having a hydraulically actuated grapple component. The skid steer loader includes a hydraulic cushioning mechanism at one or both ends of the hydraulic cylinder such that the grapple component does not come to a hard stop when it impacts against the implement bucket. The cushioning mechanism comprises a fluid restriction that diminishes return fluid flow as piston nears the end of its stroke thereby slowing the movement. The skid-steer also includes a cylinder guard secured to the end of the actuation rod of the hydraulic cylinder to protect the actuation rod from damage. A widened pivot shaft is provided at the pivot structure between the grapple component and bucket implement for filling the gap therebetween and acting as a barrier to objects that would otherwise be forced therethrough.
