A jet spoiler (20) is positioned proximate the liner (16) of each of the shaped charges (12) to prevent the formation of a jet in the event of an inadvertent initiation of a shaped charge (12). The shaped charges (12) are then oriented in first and second layers such that the jet spoilers (20) positioned proximate the liners (16) of the shaped charges (12) in the first and second layers oppose one another. A shielding panel (22) is disposed between the shaped charges (12) of the first and second layers. The shaped charges (12) including the jet spoilers (20) and the shielding panel (22) are placed within an expandable bag (32) which is in turn enclosed within a transportation container (34).

Abstract: A number of spaced apart first and second cavities are continuously formed in first and second thin sheets of material, respectively. Each of the first and second cavities has an edge at an opening thereof. The formed first and second cavities travel in paths that are downwardly inclined from the horizontal and approach each other. A number of first bodies are fed into the first cavities, respectively, where each of the first bodies has a liquid tight interior cavity that contains a volume of a first liquid. This liquid is one that when mixed with a second liquid starts a chemiluminescent reaction. The edge of each of the first cavities is sealed progressively with the respective edge of a second cavity, while injecting the second liquid into one or both of the first and second cavities that are being sealed. This forms a liquid tight second body that contains the first body and a second volume of the second liquid.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a machine for the packaging of goods in a box. A conveyor receives a designated number of goods between a series of successive flights situated on the top surface of the conveyor. The conveyor transports the goods up an incline and then over a steep decline, or waterfall. The waterfall nests the goods on a surface of the lead flight. The waterfall is covered so that the goods do not fall off of the conveyor as it goes over the waterfall. The conveyor then reaches a belt return, wherein the lead flight moves out from underneath the goods and drops the goods into the box. The box is positioned underneath the waterfall to receive the goods by the action of an intermittent conveyor. A sensor is positioned to verify that the queued box has received the goods. If the sensor does not indicate to the second conveyor that the queued box has not received the goods, the intermittent second conveyor will not move the box.

Abstract: There is disclosed a solid preparation packaging apparatus in which a slip can be prevented from being generated between a packaging paper roll and a rotation shaft with the roll attached thereto by a simple constitution without inhibiting a replacing operation. The solid preparation packaging apparatus comprises: a plurality of tablet cases in which respective types of solid preparations are contained; and a thermally fusible packaging paper wound around in a roll shape, so that the solid preparation discharged from the tablet case is packaged in the packaging paper, wherein the packaging paper is wound around a periphery of a shaft member detachably attached to the rotation shaft to form the roll shape, an engaging portion is formed in the rotation shaft, and an engaged portion attachably/detachably joined to the engaging portion is formed in the shaft member.

Abstract: A portable film wrapping system comprises a push-cart having a vertical mast member and a film roll carriage movably mounted upon the vertical mast member. A lift cable connects the film roll carriage to a lift cable drum which is rotatably connected to a lift sprocket through a clutch mechanism, wherein the lift sprocket is rotatably connected to a drive wheel engaged with a floor surface over which the portable system is movable. When the clutch mechanism operatively connects the lift cable drum to the lift sprocket, the lift cable drum is rotated so as to wind the lift cable thereon and thereby continuously elevate the film roll carriage whereby spiral wrapping is achieved. When the clutch mechanism disconnects the lift cable drum from the lift sprocket, the lift cable is no longer wound upon the lift cable drum whereby the film roll carriage is maintained at a particular elevation so as to achieve concentric reinforcing wrapping.

Abstract: A cyclone dust-collecting apparatus of a vacuum cleaner includes a cyclone body installed at an extension hose for generating air current of vortex from incoming air, a grill for filtering back drafting current of the air current of vortex, and a cyclone cover including a partly blocked plate, which is placed to correspond to the grill, a filth passage for guiding filth to a filth-collecting container, and a first connection member for connecting the cyclone body with the filth-collecting container. The filth-collecting container has second connection member for connecting with the cyclone cover. Accordingly, it can be prevented a grill from being blocked by back drafting of piled filth in the filth-collecting container regardless of the position of a user. When the user eliminates collected filth, breakage of a grill or falling down of the filth clung to the grill, can also be prevented.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an oil separator for separating oil from a gaseous medium discharged by a compressor. The oil separator includes an inlet for communication with the discharge outlet of a compressor, and first and second outlets. The first outlet allows separated refrigerant to escape the oil separator, and the second outlet allows separated oil to escape the oil separator. A tortuous path lies between the inlet and a first outlet, and is comprised of one or more enlarged regions and one or more narrow regions that are angularly situated with each other. The walls of the tortuous path provide surfaces on which the oil contained within the gaseous medium can be impinged, and thereby separated from the gaseous medium. The oil separator may also include a collection chamber and drainage pathways that communicate with the tortuous path. The oil separator can be a separate body that is attached to a compressor, or may be integrally formed by a housing of a compressor.
