    Abstract: The bracket includes an inner body having a hook on one end and arranged to slide within an outer body having a hook on one end to provide a variable bracket length. A pair of springs located between overlapping portions of the bodies biases the bracket towards its longer uncompressed length. After the bracket is mounted to a support surface, a wall of the headrail is hooked onto the hook of the inner body. The headrail is then advanced to compress the springs and shorten the bracket length so that an opposite wall of the headrail can catch on the hook of the outer body. Removing the compression force on the springs biases the bracket toward its longer length to capture the second wall of the headrail with the hook of the outer body. By this arrangement, an easily applied pushing force installs and attaches the mounting bracket to the headrail.

    Abstract: A mounting arrangement includes a multi-functional arm mounted in a mounting receiver. The arm includes a forward enlarged section, an intermediate recessed section, and a rearward enlarged section. The mounting receiver includes a forward mounting portion, an intermediate open portion, and a rearward mounting portion. The arm is mounted by aligning the intermediate recessed section of the arm over a top opening in the forward mounting portion, lowering the arm and sliding it rearwardly. A pair of pins on the arm engage a pair of aligned apertures on the front surface of the forward mounting portion to minimize looseness between the arm and the mounting receiver. A latch mechanism engages the arm to secure the arm in the mounting receiver and provides a visual indication that the arm is properly engaged. When the latch mechanism is pivoted by an operator inwardly, the latch mechanism disengages the arm, allowing removal of the arm from the mounting receiver.

As the mast is retracted, the adapter (14) engages with isolation assembly (16) and disengages from the mast latch assembly. This attaches the sensor platform to the isolation assembly which now protects the sensors from vibrations produced by the vehicle and any shocks created by the terrain over which the vehicle travels. It also allows the sensors to be used for surveillance during vehicle travel. When the vehicle stops and the mast is again extended, the adapter (14) re-engages with the mast latch assembly and is disengaged from the isolation assembly.

When the solenoid is energized, the pilot piston is moved to permit fluid to flow from the primary to the pilot chamber, producing an increase in the differential pressure in the regions of the primary chamber. The differential pressure then forces the primary piston to move, exposing the outlet to fluid flow from the gas inlet.

The first piece of surface merges into a channel in which the liquid is guided downwards. In this the wall of the second piece of surface divides the channel off from the mouth region.

    Abstract: In order to securely prevent or detect overlap feeding of sheet materials, there is provided a sheet material feeding mechanism which deforms the sheet materials on a feeding line so as to form a gap between the overlapping sheet materials which firmly cling to each other. For preventing the overlap feeding of the sheets, the drive relationship between a feeding roller and a pair of a parting roller and a retarding roller located on the downstream side from the feeding roller is optimized to form the gap between the sheet materials. Further, for detecting the overlap feeding of the sheets, bending correction ribs are provided on guide plates formed on the upper and lower sides of the feeding line of the sheet materials so as to deform the sheet materials fed in the overlapping condition, thereby the gap is formed between the overlapping sheets.

The discharge magazine further includes an article face support member, wherein a face of one of the flat articles abuts the article face support member, and a segmented roller for receiving and aligning the flat articles for insertion into the on-edge stack. The segmented roller includes a rotatable segmented cylinder having a longitudinal central axis.

    Abstract: A sheet path assembly having two mating components which are pivotally attached to one another so that they may be opened in the case of a sheet jam. One of the mating assemblies is a turnover component, which is torsionally weak about an axis in the direction of the sheet path. This is done so that the turnover component will conform to the mating component when they close. A stiffening member is mounted to the turnover component, such that when the stiffening member is engaged, the turnover component is then torsionally stiff. When the turnover component is conformed to the mating assembly, the stiffening member is engaged, locking the turnover component into the conforming position.

The gasket includes an integral heat insulating sleeve for reducing thermal stresses on cylinder head port and gasket body, and is comprised of first and second metal layers fixedly secured together along a unitary plane. An aperture through the gasket provides for passage of high-temperature exhaust gases, wherein the first and second layers define at least one full sealing bead disposed about the circumference of the aperture. The second layer includes a plurality of circumferentially disposed leg portions symmetrically disposed about the exhaust aperture. The leg portions are adapted to receive the attached sleeve, which is positioned orthogonally to the unitary plane and adapted to extend into the exhaust port. The sleeve forms an insulating air gap between its exterior circumference and the interior circumference of the exhaust port.

The inwardly projecting arms form a first seal around said hole, and the outwardly projecting arms form a second seal around said hole. Each arm extends from a junction (22) with the remainder of the gasket to a tip (24) of the arm which engages one of the bodies. Each arm has its greatest thickness at said junction (22) and its smallest thickness at a point adjacent to or at said tip (24), the arm continuously reducing in thickness between said junction and said point. The gasket can yield from the tips of the arms inwardly as the pressure on the gasket increases.

The body includes a thrust bearing ring received by the nut so that the thrust ring holds the nut against forward and rearward axial movement with respect to the body.
