Abstract: A method for precisely aligning a product to be stapled in relation to a stapling device in a gatherer stapler, includes the steps of determining an exact position of the product to be stapled, comparing the determined position with an expected position of the product, supplying a determined positional deviation to a drive as a control variable and performing a compensatory movement by controlling at least one of respective drives of the gathering chain and of the stapling device so that the determined positional deviation is compensated for at the start of the stapling operation. A device for performing the method and a gatherer stapler are also provided.

Abstract: In assembling a disk recording apparatus, a spindle motor is driven to rotate disks and with the disk recording apparatus supported by a linear guide mechanism for movement with one degree of freedom of translation in a direction substantially in parallel to surfaces of the disks. A measuring mechanism is used to measure vibration in the direction of the one degree of freedom of translation caused by the rotation of a rotating part of the disk recording apparatus. An angular position detecting mechanism is used to detect the angular position of each disk at which vibration of a maximum amplitude is generated. The eccentricity and the direction of eccentricity of the rotating part are analyzed in accordance with the measured vibration and the detected angular position, and the base and the rotating part are moved relatively to correct the eccentricity in accordance with the result of the analysis.

Abstract: A step-in binding system (20, 220) including a binding (24, 224) and an engagement member (26, 226) for securing a snowshoe to footwear (22). In one embodiment, the binding includes a pivotable latch (78) and a fixed latch (80), each having a pair of catches (116) for engaging a corresponding receiver (110) on the engagement member. The pivotable latch is pivotable between a closed position (CP) and an open position (OP) and is biased into the closed position by a helical rotational spring (100). The binding further includes an adjustment mechanism (32) extending between a toe member (28) and a heel member (30) that allows the distance between the toe and heel members to be selectively changed by a user. In another embodiment, the binding includes a pair of pivotable latches (278, 280), each biased into its closed position by two torsional rotational springs (300).

Abstract: The present invention comprises: a hydraulic motor rotationally driven as pressure oil from a hydraulic pump is supplied by way of a control valve; a remote control valve adapted to switch the control valve; a bypath line connected to both hydraulic lines of the hydraulic motor; a communicating valve having a position for closing the bypath line and a position for opening the bypath line; and a throttle valve for controlling the communicating valve, wherein the throttle valve is adapted to set the communicating valve to a closed position at the time when said remote control valve is operated for rotating, and to set the communicating valve to an open position at the time when said remote control valve is returned to a neutral position, as well as to allow the pressure oil of deceleration side to be released by a predetermined time, whereby the flapping of the machine which may be caused such as at the time when the rotation is stopped in the hydraulic excavator can be avoided.

Abstract: This invention is a moving-character sound structure, involving mainly a mechanical unit. On the surface of the mechanical unit is an animal character. The eyes and mouth of the character are movable. The eyes and mouth of the character are connected to a transmission mechanism composed of a swing rod, a spring and a motor. Inside the mechanical unit are various circuits for radio, tape recorder, vocal IC, karaoke, and a driving circuit. When the push keys on the mechanical unit are pushed to select specific sound function giving off sound, the driving motor analyzes the specific frequency and activates the motor to rotate intermittently, causing the eyes and mouth of the character to open and close intermittently.

The reason for the name “Bumper Buddy” is because it helps protect the bumper of your Automobile from unsightly, hard to remove parking lot stickers or decals. This new device attaches to the license plate of a car and you can apply parking lot stickers, business, school and military decals to this device without having to attach them to your automobile's bumper. The “Bumper Buddy” is a small aluminum or plastic plate that is attached to the two bottom holes of the license plate of a car. The “Bumper Buddy” is available as a blank plate or a logo or name can be printed on the plate.
