Abstract: A small self-propelled loader has hydraulic drive motors and at least one work cylinder, and has a hydraulic system that efficiently utilizes the available horse power from an internal combustion engine on the loader. The engine drives a tandem pump and the flows from two sections of the tandem pump pass through a first diverter valve that permits using the flow from each of the pump sections to drive a respective one of the drive motors. The return or drain flow from valves controlling the drive motors is connected to a second diverter valve to selectively direct the drain flow from the drive motors for operating remote work cylinders. Alternately, the first diverter valve directs the output from one pump section to the work cylinders, so that when the loader is standing still or moving very slowly, the work cylinder has adequate flow, and flow from the other pump section is split to power the drive motors.

Abstract: A liquid-containing ornament includes a container containing one single type of liquid or two types of mutually indissoluble liquids having different densities and colors. The liquid flows down from the container into a chamber below the container via a low liquid outlet. A set of rotating blades having magnets attached on one side of the blades is mounted in the chamber, and a rotary disc driven to rotate by a motor and having magnets attached thereto is located outside the chamber corresponding to the set of rotating blades. When the rotary disc is rotated, it magnetically rotates the set of rotating blades to drive the liquid in the chamber into the container via a high liquid inlet, so that the liquid circulates in the container. Different decorations are provided in the container along a path of the circulating liquid flow to create changeful and dynamic scenes.

Abstract: The present invention is a device for detecting the movement of a fish on a fishing line, which comes in two parts: a detecting and transmitting device which can be attached to a fishing rod, and a receiving device which also functions as a storage box. Movement of the fishing line is detected using a piezoelectric crystal or other sensing device. There is a rotatable control for adjusting the sensitivity of the device. The sensing device produces an electric signal which is processed by electronic circuits, encoded, and transmitted as radio waves. The radio waves are received by the receiving device, converted back into an electric signal and decoded. When an appropriate signal is received, either a buzzer or a vibrator is activated to alert the user that a fish is on the line. A toggle switch enables the user to choose whether the buzzer or the vibrator will be activated.

Abstract: The invention relates to a drivable flap hinge for connecting a flap such as a front hood or a trunk lid, to a body of an automobile in an articulated manner. Said drivable hinge comprises a first retaining part (2) for fixing to the flap, a second retaining part (3) for fixing to the body, at least one connecting member (6) which is pivotably arranged on at least one of the two retaining parts (2, 3) with a joint (8, 9); and a driving motor (16) which is drive-connected to a joint pin (17) of the joint (8). The invention provides a flap hinge which advantageously enables a front gate or tail gate of an automobile to pivot in a driven manner as a result of the driven joint pin (17) connecting the first retaining part (2) and the connecting member (6).

Abstract: A power liftgate drive assembly automatically moves the liftgate of a vehicle between its open and closed positions. The drive assembly is secured to the vehicle at a position near the top of the liftgate. The drive assembly includes a motor that drives a sector gear between two positions. A guide rod is secured to the sector gear to translate the rotational movement of the sector gear into the pivotal movement of the ligtgate. A slot extends through the sector gear that allows the liftgate to be moved manually. A latch locks the guide rod in position with respect to the sector gear for automated movement whereas the latch releases the guide rod to move in the slot for manual operation.

Abstract: An automation assembly is adapted to be connected to a door system of a motor vehicle. The automation assembly is modular and includes a frame that is fixedly secured to the motor vehicle. A motor is fixedly secured to the frame and adapted to receive power. The motor converts the power into a rotational output force. The motor includes a non-ferrous core. A set of pulleys and rollers are fixedly secured to the frame at predetermined positions to direct the path of a continuous belt. The continuous belt is fixedly secured to the door system such that the motor moves the continuous belt and the door system bidirectionally between an open position and a closed position. Sensors are used to determine the position of the door, the speed thereof and whether the door is being moved manually.

Abstract: A power sliding assembly for moving a windowpane within a track within a window frame between an open position and a closed position. The power sliding assembly includes a motor fixedly secured to the window frame. The motor generates a rotational force. The power sliding assembly also includes a lead screw that is operatively connected to the motor to translate the rotational force to axial movement. In addition, the power sliding assembly includes a bracket secured to the lead screw and the windowpane. The bracket travels with the lead screw as the lead screw is driven axially along the track to move the windowpane between the open and closed positions.

Abstract: Silica particles for polishing to planarize a surface of a substrate without generating scratches, having the average particle diameter in the range from 5 to 300 nm, carbon content in the range from 0.5 to 5 weight %, and 10%-compressive elasticity modulus in the range from 500 to 3000 kgf/mm2. When the carbon content in the silica particles is less than 0.5 weight %, there is no residual alkoxy group and siloxane bonding proceeds, so that the obtained particles are hard. In that case, although the polishing rate is high, scratches remain or are generated anew after polishing, and planarity of the polished surface is insufficient. On the other hand, when the carbon content is over 5 weight %, many residual alkoxy group are contained in the particles, so that the particles are relatively soft and a sufficient polishing rate can not be achieved.

Abstract: A pedestal head that is sufficiently resilient to allow for alignment of the floor panels during installation of the floor panels and to allow individual access floor panels to maintain their originally-aligned position after having been subjected to a heavy load during use. The pedestal head includes a base and arms extending from and supported by the base for cantilevered movement relative thereto. The base has a first surface, disposed in a first plane, configured to support a first portion of a floor panel. The arm has a second surface configured to support a second portion of the floor panel. The second surface is disposed in a second plane generally parallel to the first plane in a first configuration of the pedestal head. The arm is deflectable by the weight of a panel mounted thereon to define a second configuration in which the second surface is nonparallel to the first plane. The base may include additional arms for supporting additional floor panels.
