Abstract: A suit garment that is typically manufactured smaller than the correct size for its intended wearer is made from stretchable material so that the suit fits snugly on the wearer. The suit is constructed from a plurality of panels woven from synthetic or naturally occurring fibers joined to one another along their respective edges, usually along seams that are effectively sealed so that the resulting suit covers the entire body of the wearer, excepting extremities, and extends across the various joints of the wearer that would commonly be expected to flex during diving. The garment is additionally provided with at least one panel in the region of one or more joints of the wearer of the same woven material as the remaining materials. However, the panel that is cut from the material on the bias as opposed to parallel to the warp or weft of the weave of that material. In this manner, an exceedingly elastic suit, at least in the region of the joints of the when the suit is correctly worn, is achieved.

Abstract: A knitted collar for a shirt and a method for manufacturing such a collar. The collar includes a knitted collar body having a sewing edge adapted to be attached to the shirt, a finished edge and two selvedges. The body has a pocket at each of the two selvedges. The pocket has first and second ends extending approximately from the finished edge to the sewing edge. The pocket is closed at the first end by the finished edge. A stay is disposed in the pocket of each of the two selvedges. The stay has a first end facing the first end of the pocket and a second end facing the second end of the pocket. A stop stitch formed between the first and second ends of the pocket. The stop stitch closes one of the first and second ends of the pocket for substantially preventing the stay from moving within the pocket. A new type of stay with protrusions is also described.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a unilayer flexible performance fabric which may be fabricated into apparel and articles having high performance fibers, such as high tensile modulus fibers positioned within a base fabric in at least one preselected location only where required to import performance characteristics which are equal to or exceed the specifications for the garment. For example, if cut resistance is a requirement, performance fibers which provide such protection from this hazard would be used. Likewise, if abrasion resistance is intended for an apparel such as coveralls, only the knees and elbows would require the performance fiber. Thus, reducing the amount of expensive fibers normally used. The invented fabric is manufacturede in a method in which the placement of the fabric in preselected locations is computer controlled.

Abstract: Integral complex buffing structure of safety helmet, including a casing, a lining body and a buffing body integrally sandwiched between the casing and the lining body. The casing is made of a hard plastic material. The lining body is connected on inner face of the casing and made of hardened foam material with high density. The buffing body is made of soft shock-absorbent material with low density. The buffing body is able to fully distribute the external concentrated impact to larger area of respective layers so as to reduce the linearly transmitted inertial impact. After the impact energy is fully spread, the instantaneous deformation of the casing and the lining body is reduced, whereby the respective layers of the helmet can naturally automatically restore to their original state and position and thus the helmet is excellently anti-impact with respect to many times of or continuous impact at one point.

Abstract: When a user sets water power using a water power adjustment switch in a remote control device, a controller controls the period of pressure fluctuations, the width of pressure fluctuations, and the central pressure of the discharge pressure of a pump on the basis of a signal transmitted by radio from the remote control device. When the user sets the divergent angle of washing water using a washing area adjustment switch in the remote control device, the controller controls the divergent angle of the washing water sprayed from a posterior nozzle on the basis of the signal transmitted by radio from the remote control device. Consequently, the washing water supplied to a side surface of a cylindrical swirl chamber from a first flow path in the posterior nozzle is sprayed from a spray hole as dispersed spiral flow, and the washing water supplied to a lower part of the cylindrical swirl chamber from a second flow path in the posterior nozzle is sprayed from the spray hole as linear flow.

Abstract: The present invention describes a two-part oxidative hair dye composition which comprises in one or both component parts at least one polyether polyurethane in combination with at least one cationic conditioning agent. The two component parts of the composition comprise a dye component composition, which includes primary intermediates and couplers, and a developing component composition, which includes an oxidizing agent, such as hydrogen peroxide. It has surprisingly been found by the present inventors that nonionic polyether polyurethane polymers and cationic conditioning agents contained in the oxidative hair dye compositions of the present invention impart and significantly enhance additional conditioning and rheological benefits to the hair. Other components commonly used in oxidative hair dye products can be added to one or both component parts of the compositions of the present invention.

Abstract: A launch ramp includes a hollow body having first and second ends and upper and lower walls which converge to a relatively sharp edge at the first end of the body. Support legs are mounted to the body adjacent to the second end thereof, the legs being extendable an appreciable distance from of the bottom wall so that when the edge and the legs rest on a horizontal surface, the top wall is inclined at an appreciable angle relative to that surface. The hollow body defines a fluid-tight chamber which may be filled with a fluid substance to change the weight, inertial characteristic and stiffness of the ramp body.

Abstract: A toothbrush head containing a first tuft block mounted for oscillating about a centrally located axis and an elongated second tuft block mounted for rotational movement about an axis eccentric to its center point. One of the tuft blocks has a recess for receiving an extension of the other tuft block to create a drive connection between the two tuft blocks, such that when one of the tuft blocks is driven by a drive structure the rotational movement of that tuft block causes the other tuft block to oscillate.

Abstract: The head of a powered toothbrush includes a first tuft block mounted for rotational oscillation about an axis generally perpendicular to the outer surface of the head, and a second tuft block having fixed bristles or bristles independently movable by being mounted on an elastomeric base. The second tuft block oscillates perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the head and in an in and out direction perpendicular to the outer surface of the head. A third stationary block may also be mounted on the head of the powered toothbrush. The bristles on the first, second, and third tuft blocks may be of various lengths, colors and stiffness, and may be mounted perpendicularly to or at an angle to the outer surface of the head.

Abstract: A powered toothbrush refill head combines a typical round oscillating or primary tuft block which oscillates in a rotational manner with a secondary tuft block. The secondary tuft block may be oscillated in a rotational manner or may oscillate linearly back and forth in the same direction as the handle of the toothbrush. The secondary tuft block could be in the form of a pair of side by side plates mounted on the head adjacent to the round oscillating block. The invention could also be practice where the secondary tuft block is in the form of a plurality of sets of rows of bristles mounted for back and forth movement in a direction perpendicular to the handle.

Abstract: A dentition cleaning device and system is disclosed for cleaning teeth, gums and dentures. The dentition cleaning device utilizes squeegees that protrude from a cleaning head to provide efficient contact of dentition surfaces during cleaning. The dentition cleaning device is particularly useful for cleaning teeth because the squeegee contact surfaces and remove residues, such as plaque, without causing significant abrasion to surrounding gum tissue which can lead to gum recession. The dentition cleaning device can be configured with bristle sections or with squeegees that are configured to retain water in squeegee channels. The dentition cleaning device is adaptable to water assisted tooth cleaning system and motorized electric teeth cleaning systems. The dentition cleaning device is also particularly useful to be used in conjunction with a low viscosity tooth cleaner that is capable of being delivered through a conventional pump dispenser.
