Abstract: A visor structure with an elastic band connecting in a bevel mode, it comprises a peak, a front panel and a band; the band is made of elastic fabric (such as elastic terry or elastic fleece); the front panel and the band are both cut in a distinctive bevel mode to connect with each other to thereby form the visor with a perfect streamline. When the visor is worn on, the band is pulled out and its elastic fabric can be stretched out horizontally to suit the different head sizes of the wearer, to make the band look quite even, tidy and not being crimpled to influence the entire appearance of the visor structure. The visor provides comfort no matter it is worn normally or in a reverse way by virtue that the ears of the wearer always contact the soft band.

Abstract: In a protective glove having a wristlet and having a back face adapted to cover a back face of a wearer's hand, the back face has a thumb-covering portion and four finger-covering portions, which include an index finger-covering portion adjacent to the thumb-covering portion, and the back face has an inner liner and an outer shell, wherein the outer shell of the back face is folded and is sewn where folded so as to define inner ribs, which point toward and are able to touch the inner liner and which when touching the inner liner define pockets containing air providing thermal insulation. In one contemplated embodiment, the ribs include a rib terminating approximately where the thumb-covering portion and the index finger-covering portion meet and three other ribs, each terminating approximately where two of the finger-covering portions meet. In an alternative embodiment, in which the ribs extend across the protective glove, the ribs include ribs extending across the finger-covering portions.

The strips generally comprise a liquid permeable outer sheet, an absorbent medium, and a backsheet. Applied to the backsheet can be a fastening adhesive. A peel sheet can be attached to the backsheet that can be removed immediately prior to attaching the strip on a article. Other embodiments include attaching multi-use strip to a Velcro strip. In addition, embodiments include the distribution of a roll of material that can be cut to a desired length or provided in pre-cut stacks of the absorbent strips.

The sleeve is preferably fabricated of the same material as the foam fabric used in the fabrication of a SCUBA diver's suit, specifically, a closed cell foam. A transmitter sends a radio frequency signal to a receiver if the processor detects the low water. The receiver turns on a valve to add water to the pool. A main power switch is located internally in the housing, and moves between on and off positions by inverting the housing. A wave filter timer within the processor turns on for a selected interval when the processor detects low water. The processor delays the transmitter from sending the signal until the end of the selected interval. Also the processor causes the transmitter to send the signal at the end of the selected interval only if the processor continuously detects low water during the selected interval.

Abstract: A hand tool is usable as a wrench and a hook. One end of the tool has a hand grip and the other end a hook. The hook has a pry tip usable to pry open service vault lids. A wrench socket is disposed on the hand grip. The hook is usable as a handle to rotate the wrench socket on the opposite end of the tool. Maintenance crews can use the built-in wrench to remove bolts from vault lids without kneeling down. The tool can then be reversed and used as a hook to lift the vault lid without bending down to grasp the edge of the vault lid. This can reduce back injuries to maintenance crews. In addition, injuries from snake and spider bites are reduced because maintenance crews need not use their hands to pry open the vault lids.

The invention herein described effectively overcomes the problem of the adjacent first bridge approach obstructing the sliding movement of a sliding drawbridge. This is achieved by an initial vertical motion lifting the bridge deck until it effectively clears the first adjacent bridge approach thereby allowing the sliding the bridge deck to slide over said first adjacent bridge approach. A lifting mechanism and a sliding mechanism are included in the design to provide the apparatus the means to move the bridge deck vertically and horizontally.

The replaceable bristle unit consists of a rotary bristle element and a stationary bristle element that has an opening for the flow of dentifrice material through the drive head. The bristle unit is snap-on latched to the side walls of the drive head. Opposing tabs which also function as pressure sensors on the bristle unit are pressed toward each other to release the bristle unit. A linkage is used to convert the rotation of the drive shaft to a planar oscillation that enables a compact drive head configuration. The dentifrice dispensing is accomplished by using a rotary solenoid for actuating an internal button that applies pumping pressure to the dentifrice material.
