Abstract: A diving vest with adjustable buoyancy mainly has a back pad filled with a soft polyurethane gel body therein and disposed additionally on a back portion on an inner side of a regular vest; two left and right sides at the lower ends of the back pad extend respectively to form lashing waist bands; the protruding back pad leans against a human body's concave waist spine portion for obtaining a good ergonomic support and protecting the waist spine portion; the lashing waist band penetrates through a ring band on a waist bag of the vest thereby linking the waist bag to tightly lash a diver onto the vest. The lashing waist band lashes from the back pad as the beginning point such that it is more capable of tightly pulling the vest from the rear to the front for lashing the diver.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a process for producing a powder free natural latex article and the articles produced by the process. In one embodiment, the process of the present invention may be used to form a powder free natural latex glove which has very low levels of extractable protein without being subjected to a halogenation processes. The process includes forming a natural rubber article on a former and then, either before or after stripping the article from the former, contacting the article with a rinse solution comprising the ionic species of a disassociated metal salt. In one embodiment, the metal salt may be sodium chloride. Contact with the rinse solution may lower protein levels in the latex. When the article is stripped from the former prior to contact with the rinse solution, the rinse solution may also remove any residual powders from the glove in order to produce a powder free natural rubber article.

  • Publication number: 20040031087
Abstract: An elastomeric glove that contains zones of differing water vapor transmission rates is provided. The glove contains at least one liquid and vapor impermeable zone, i.e., “moisture-impermeable” zone. Such moisture-impermeable zones generally have a WVTR of less than about 1500 g/m2/24 hours. Further, the glove also contains at least one liquid-impermeable, but vapor-permeable zone, i.e., “breathable” zone. Such breathable zones generally have a WVTR of at least about 250 g/m2/24 hours. As a result, the glove may sufficiently inhibit liquids and moisture from contacting the hand during use, and allow water vapor that would otherwise accumulate on the skin of a user to escape from the glove, thereby enhancing the comfort of the user's hands during long periods of use.

The first bladder is located against the user's back that covers the entire dorsal region. Located behind the first bladder is a second bladder that acts as an insulation layer when submerged under water. Both the first and second bladders are filled with fibrous filler material to provide insulation and allow exhaled air to flow freely therein. An air conduit extends from the user's mouth to the second inner bladder. Formed between the first and second bladders is an air passageway that delivers air from the second bladder into the first bladder. Air outlet ports located on the first bladder allows exhaled air to escape into the body cavity and that completely surround the user. Abstract: A tableware washing apparatus is adapted to allow garbage deposited to tableware to be washed off by washing water injected toward the inside of a shower sink, and the garbage dropped into the inside of the shower sink to be washed out with the washing water. A cross-sectional shape of the shower sink includes a bottom wall having a large curvature, a first sidewall rising substantially vertically from one of opposite ends of the bottom wall, and a second sidewall rising from the other end of the bottom wall and having a curvature smaller than that of the bottom wall. A sectional area of a flow path at the bottom wall is small, as compared with a shower sink having a quadrilateral section or a circular section. Therefore, even if the flow rate of the washing water is reduced to save water, the flow speed of the washing water flowing on the bottom wall can be raised to effectively wash out the garbage.

Abstract: A refill is designed for use with a cleaning tool, such as a mop or a cleaning mitt. The refill includes a mopping sheet, formed from a water absorbing material, and a dusting sheet. In one example, the dusting sheet is removed from the refill after dusting a surface to expose the mopping sheet. A single refill allows a surface to be dusted and then mopped using the same cleaning tool.

Abstract: A dust collecting device is disclosed for use with cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner. The device is a disposable dust ruffle made of an electet material. The ruffle prevents the equipment from spreading dust and itself acts as a dust magnet, both with respect to dust agitated by the machine and with respect to dust present in confined areas such as corners.

Abstract: This invention relates to a multi-purpose position sensitive floor cleaning device having two separate and distinct selective modes of operation whereby 180° longitudinal rotation of the floor cleaning device selectively activates one of the two separate and distinct selective modes of operation. The two separate and distinct selective modes of operation are, for example, a scrubbing mode for scrubbing an associated floor and a suctioning mode for suctioning associated liquid from the associated floor.

Abstract: A brush roller assembly for a vacuum cleaner includes a rotatable spindle having a longitudinal axis, a first end, a second end and a central portion. A first airflow enhancing device (“AED”) is positioned, by being molded onto or operationally attached to, the first end of the rotatable spindle. The first AED includes a central portion, which is positioned substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rotatable spindle when the first AED is positioned on the first end of the rotatable spindle. The first AED includes at least one fan blade projection outwardly extending from the periphery of the central portion of the first AED. The fan blade projection facilitates the movement of debris directly or indirectly from the first end of the rotatable spindle toward the central portion of the rotatable spindle. A second AED device may be positioned on the second end of the rotatable spindle, wherein the second AED has similar structure to and attaches in similar fashion as the first AED.

Abstract: An improved swing away style door hinge utilizing at least four hinge members attached to each other about four pivot points. The new hinge allows greater access through a doorway wherein the door is positioned outside of the doorway clearance space when the door is opened 90 degrees. The hinge may also limit the opening movement of the door. The hinge is an aesthetically pleasing hinge with a relatively small footprint compared to other swing away style hinges.

Abstract: A handle grip structure includes an elastic tube, and a slender strip mounted on the elastic tube. The slender strip includes a foamed layer having an inner surface wrapped and bonded around an outer surface of the elastic tube, and a polyester layer coated on an outer surface of the foamed layer. Thus, by provision of the foamed layer having a determined elastic restoring force, the handle grip structure has an excellent shock absorbing effect, thereby decreasing the sport damage applied on the user.
