Abstract: A closure arrangement for a reclosable polymeric bag is disclosed, the closure arrangement comprising convex and concave areas that facilitate opening the bag. To initially open the bag, first and second films are separated from each other by tearing perforations. Next, interlocked closure profiles are detached from each other by grabbing onto gripper ridges and pulling the opening of the bag apart. If the first or second film becomes tucked into the groove left by the perforations such that the gripper ridges are difficult to access even after tearing the perforations, then the end of the opening may be flexed up or down, thereby causing separation of the convex area and concave area to provide access to the gripper ridges.

Abstract: The current invention addresses these issues in a simple yet effective way. The engagement between the blade and handle is extremely strong when locked, yet can be easily moved with the tip of a finger when the actuating means is engaged. Thus the blade is held rigidly in both the open and closed positions by the interlock and is easily changed in an ergonomically intuitive flick of one finger. The preferred method is to use a cam or cams to rotate against the frame, pivoting near the center of the blade, perpendicular to the axis of blade rotation. Thus the entire knife is composed of three primary parts: the blade, the frame and the cam. No additional springs are needed to effect the mechanism. Another desired feature is an integrated lanyard clip which is designed into the interface of the cam and blade surfaces. This clip is located in a way that allows the user to “pluck” the knife from a ring or lanyard. A belt clip can also be affixed to the u shaped member.

Abstract: A cleat holder is fixed to an underside of footwear and comprises a base and a hub projecting from. The hub includes a plurality of lobes on an outer periphery thereof and a screw-threaded bore. Grooves are defined in a side of the base, each groove having a portion extending to an indentation between two adjacent lobes. A shoe cleat comprises a cleat body and a screw-threaded spigot projecting from the cleat body. The screw-threaded spigot is releasably engageable with the screw-threaded bore of the cleat holder through rotary insertion. Protrusions are formed on a side of the cleat body and located around the screw-threaded spigot. Each protrusion of the shoe cleat is retained in place by an associated groove and an associated indentation of the cleat holder when the screw-threaded spigot is in the engaged position.

Abstract: A manually operated snow plow includes a V-shaped blade assembly, a pair of end blades, a front pivoting extension, and a handle. A first and second plow blade are fastened to each other on a front thereof to form a V-shape. The handle extends from the V-shaped blade assembly. At least one end blade extends outward from each plow blade. A front pivoting extension is formed on a front of the V-shaped blade assembly and preferably, a rear pivoting extension is at substantially a rear thereof. A curved surface is preferably formed on a bottom of each pivoting extension. In a second embodiment, a manually operated snow plow includes an angled plow assembly and a handle pivotally attached to the angled plow assembly. The angled plow assembly preferably has symmetry about a lengthwise centerline to enable left and right plowing, after flipping the angled plow assembly over.

The pipe trenching plow cuts a pilot hole in the seabed using a cutting apparatus and widens and forms a trench from the pilot hole using expandable spreading side sections. A pipe guiding sled also is used to support and guide the pipe into the trench and a trench box section retains the trench geometry as the pipe trenching plow is continuously advanced in a forward direction. The article of manufacture at least includes a background region and a statue image region. The statue image region is an inverted view of a view of a three-dimensional statue (i.e., a concave outline when viewed from a positive plane). In a preferred embodiment, the statue image region depicts an interpretation of the face of a religious icon, and the effect produced by the novel configuration is that of a normal (i.e., frontal) view being produced even though a viewer's vantage point is lateral to the horizontal normal plane, or azimuthal to the vertical plane.
