Patent number: 6722572Abstract: The present invention has an object of providing a recording medium control method, a data management apparatus, and a recording medium for managing data by duplicating the data in each of a plurality of recording media. Two IC cards are loaded into a data management apparatus. In duplicating data in the two loaded IC cards, the two IC cards store their card characteristic numbers for self-identification and the card characteristic number of each other's pair IC card. If the card characteristic number of the pair IC card stored in one IC card matches the card characteristic number of the other IC card, the two IC cards are controllable.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2002Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Akiko Ono, Hisayuki Nishimura

Patent number: 6722614Abstract: In a solar array paddle having panels which are connected to a main body of a satellite and rotatably connected to one another, elastic insertion members for prevention of vibration are disposed in a clearance between each of the panels and between the main body and the panel adjacent to the main body when the panels are housed, folded, and layered. Each of the insertion members for prevention of vibration is inserted into the clearances and between the main body of the satellite and the panels adjacent to the main body such that one surface contacts a first panel and the other surface is adhered to a second panel.Type: GrantFiled: August 15, 2002Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takuo Ozawa, Tsuyoshi Ozaki

Patent number: 6722615Abstract: The present invention relates to a wing tip extension (7) for a wing, having an upper and a lower surface (10 and 11) and a leading edge and a trailing edge (12 and 13), the geometries of which are such that between a connection region (8), for connection with a wing, and the tip (9) of the wing tip extension (7) there is provided a continuous increase of the local dihedral, a continuous increase both of the sweepback angle of the leading edge (12) and also of the trailing edge (13), and a continuous decrease of the chord of the wing tip extension (7), and in that the wing tip extension (7) in the connection region (8) carries on from the wing in substance continuously. The wing tip extension (7) in accordance with the invention thereby ensures a significant reduction of the overall drag.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2002Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Fairchild Dornier GmbHInventors: Gerd Heller, Manfred Maisel, Peter Kreuzer

Patent number: 6722617Abstract: The invention relates to a musical-instrument stand, in particular for guitars, and comprises a first side and a second side, each of which defines a lower part and an upper part. The lower parts of the first and the second sides each comprises foot elements or setting the stand on a floor surface. In their upper parts, the first and the second sides respectively comprises a first and a second joint element, which together define a pivot joint in order that the sides can be pivoted with respect to one another about a predetermined axis of rotation. A releasable catch is also provided in the region of the joint elements to lock the guitar stand in at least one pivot position.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2002Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Inventor: Hans-Peter Wilfer

Patent number: 6722618Abstract: A foldable support frame for supporting a cutting machine comprises two opposing pairs of leg frames each of which comprises a pair of first crossed legs and second crossed legs that are pivotally connected together. Where the first and second crossed legs cross, two stopper means are positioned for supporting each pair of the first and second crossed legs and limiting the inclination of each of the first and second crossed legs. Each first and second crossed leg comprises an upper slide rod and a support leg, and each slide rod can slide within a respective support leg to adjust the total length of each first and second crossed leg. Thus, the foldable support frame can be easily folded or retracted in for storage and transport and unfolded or extended for supporting the cutting machine or other similar machines.Type: GrantFiled: November 11, 2002Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Chervon International Trading Co., Ltd.Inventor: Shuming Wu

Patent number: 6722619Abstract: A mounting bracket generally comprises a plate and a pair of laterally spaced prongs connected to the plate. Each prong has a first portion extending rearwardly and a second portion extending downwardly. The second portion of each prong has a vertical height less than or equal to a diameter of the mounting apertures, whereby the bracket may be attached to the vertical support without rotating the bracket, thereby saving retail space. An interior chamber is defined by the rear surface of the plate and the inner surfaces of the prongs. The interior chamber has a horizontal width less than or equal to the thickness of the vertical support such that the rear and inner surfaces firmly engage the vertical support and attach the mounting bracket thereto. Preferably, the bracket further includes a second pair of laterally spaced prongs structured similarly to the first pair of prongs but vertically spaced therefrom.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2001Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Southern Imperial, Inc.Inventors: Stanley C.
