Abstract: A gas manifold that provides an uninterrupted supply of gas and automatically switches between at least two gas sources. This gas manifold couples to a on-line gas source and a reserve gas source. A pressure transducer at the inlet to the manifold reads the pressure of the gas source. Completely protecting the mirror from dust, ice, fog, frost, and birds. Paint the cover to match the automobiles color and you can also put the automobiles emblem on the cover. Will make a fine dress up for an automobile in a car show. If the cover is tinted, it can be used at all times. The cover will stop the sun glare from the late day sun making a safety feature as well. Covers are made entirely of plastic.

Abstract: A component placement machine is provided with an activator application station for application of an adhesive activator to an appropriate surface of a surface-mount component. The application station includes an activator reservoir and wick that provide activator to a porous pad by capillary action. The reservoir and wick are substantially sealed from the environment to prevent unnecessary evaporation of the activator. The component placement machine operating program is modified to include the steps of bringing a component to the applicator station, dabbing the component surface against the applicator pad and returning the component to its installation path. A second adhesive component may be pre-applied to the PCB by an adhesive dispenser as is known in the art. The two-part chemically activated adhesive permits rapid low-temperature curing. The invention allows cost-effective fixture of temperature-sensitive surface-mount components to a PCB.

Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus conveying a roll of liner stock bearing removably adhered components such as labels. The liner is pulled through the feeder by a capstan drive having opposed fluted nip rollers driven by a stepper motor. Advance of the stepper motor is controlled by a programmable electronic controller. The linered labels are led through a tensioner and around an acute-angle peeler edge which separates the labels from the liner. The peeling action advances a label onto a platform comprising a bed of rollers having an inherently low-adherence surface. Preferably the rollers are undercut to form circumferential ridges and reduce the surface area in contact with the label adhesive and to minimize adherence thereto. When peeling of a label is completed, the label has been advanced onto the roller bed to precisely the proper location for acquisition by a pick-and-place machine.
