Abstract: A torque limiting coupling defines a longitudinal axis (17) and has a coupling hub (8) with circumferentially distributed through holes. Transfer elements are adjustably held in the holes. A coupling sleeve (6) has first recesses corresponding to the through holes. A switching disk (9) is arranged relative to the coupling hub (8) between a torque transmitting position and a freewheeling position. The switching disk (9) is urged towards the torque transmitting position. This urges the transfer elements in the direction towards the coupling hub (8). The transfer elements engage, for torque transmission, in recesses of the coupling sleeve (6). Coupling sleeve (6), when a predetermined nominal torque is exceeded, is transferable from the torque transmitting position to the freewheeling position. Second recesses, corresponding to the through holes, receive the transfer elements in the freewheeling position.

Abstract: A pair of collar sections 30a, 30b are formed on both ends in the axial direction of the outer ring 29 for the one-way clutch 10 to protrude radially inwards. The inner diameter D30 of the collar sections 30a, 30b is greater than the outer diameter D33 of the axially oppoite ends of the clutch retainer 16 of the one way clutch 10. The diameter (d16) of the inscribed circle on the inner peripheral surface on both ends in the axial direction of the one-way clutch 10 is less than the outer diameter (D19) of both ends in the axial direction of the inner bearing races 19 of the support bearing 9 provided on the both side of the one-way clutch 10 (d16<D19). The inner bearing races 19 are fitted onto and fixed by the outer peripheral surface at the opposite end portions in the axial direction of the sleeve 8.

Abstract: The present invention provides a ratchet one-way clutch comprising inner and outer races disposed on a same axis and in which a pawl member as a torque transmitting member and a biasing member for biasing the pawl member are provided in one of the inner and outer races and a recessed portion into which the pawl member is fitted is provided in the other of the inner and outer races so that torque can be transmitted by engagement between the pawl member and the recessed portion and wherein a first pocket for housing the pawl member is provided in either the outer race or the inner race, and a supporting portion for supporting the pawl member in an axial direction is provided on an inner surface of the first pocket.

Abstract: An anti-cheating device for a gaming machine which prevents or detects the insertion of a cheating device through the coin slot or a coin chute. In a first preferred embodiment, an emitter/detector assembly transmits and detects and energy beam cast across the cross section of the coin chute. The insertion of a cheating device through the coin chute disrupts the beam resulting in a “tilt” of the machine or an alarm. In another preferred embodiment, a coin director prevents access to the coin counter through the coin slot by an elongated cheating device, thereby preventing manipulation of the counter.

Abstract: The invention includes a bill processing unit into which a bill is fed and in which the bill is examined. The bill that has been examined and approved by the bill processing unit is received and stored by a storage unit. The bill processing unit and the storage unit are separated by a partition. A passage opening is formed in the partition through which the bill passes. According to the invention, even if the bill processing unit is destroyed, the bills in the storage unit may not be stolen. That is, protection against theft may be improved.

Abstract: A printed circuit board support comprising a support base, a base extension and a magnetic source. The support base defines a support surface and a lower surface. The base extension is secured to the support base and arranged to define at least a portion of a height dimension of the printed circuit board support. The magnetic source is secured to the base extension and positioned such that the lower surface of the support base is arranged to secure the printed circuit board support to an object under magnetic force. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. Abstract: A car type conveyor includes a guide rail 3 extending along one edge of a running path. The running path is fitted with a friction driver including a frictional wheel 32. A runner 2 is guided by and moves along the guide rail 3. The runner 2 has a frictional surface 29 formed on it for compressive contact with the frictional wheel 32. A carriage 1 includes wheels 8 and 9 and moves along the running path. The runner 2 and one of the right and left sides of the carriage 1 are connected together in such a manner that the top of the runner 2 is higher than the position at which the carriage 1 supports a body. The carriage 1 may be foldable toward the runner 2.

Abstract: Method and device for resetting the position of pins in trays with pins for supporting objects to be clad inside presses, comprising a tray arranged on a substantially horizontal plane and in which there are multiple receptacles having a substantially vertical axis, each receptacle accommodating a pin provided with a head protruding from the upper face of the tray. The pins form with their heads a supporting surface for the lower face of the object to be placed in the press. Each pin has elastic means that keep the pin in a raised position and are flexible so as to allow the pin to pass from the raised position to a lowered position or vice versa. The method consists in making the tray slide along a resetting surface having, along its extension, a region raised with respect to a plane that is parallel to the plane of arrangement of the tray.

Abstract: With a sealing structure for the sliding unit disclosed here, a sealing member of foam rubber is disposed in a way closing a clearance left open between widthwise opposing covering shells installed on a track rail. A covering shell is composed of a covering side secured to a side wall of a track rail, and seal supporters integral with the covering side. A slider is provided with a projection extending through between inside fronts of the sealing members, which come into abutment against one another. Upon the back-and-forward linear movement of the slider relatively to the track rail, the projection moves in a way deforming the sealing members in expansion/collapse fashion, with keeping the close sliding engagement with the confronting fronts of the sealing members so that the sealing members keep constantly closing the clearance left open between the covering shells.

Abstract: A conveyor and fixing unit are provided for fitting in a printing machine, which can be used to apply solder paste to a substrate, for example, a printed circuit board, at predetermined points. The substrate may also be a ceramic object, a flexible tape, a wafer, or other body suitable for the material to be applied. The material may also be an adhesive, silicone or epoxy resin. In order to execute a printing process for the application of solder paste, the substrate to be printed is conveyed by the conveyor unit from a substrate stack to the printing machine, where the substrate is aligned relative to a mask there provided, and solder paste is then applied to the areas of the printed circuit board to be printed by means of a doctor blade.

Abstract: A modular conveyor belt forming a hinge between consecutive belt rows hingedly connected by a two-part hinge pin. Hinge eyes along the forward and rearward ends of each row of belt modules include aligned openings for the hinge pins. The belt rows are arranged end-to-end with the hinge eyes of adjacent rows interleaved. The hinge pins are inserted in the passageway formed by the aligned openings of the interleaved hinge eyes. The hinge pins include first and second hinge pin members, such as flat strips. The openings in the hinge eyes are characterized by a narrow slotted portion for restraining the first hinge pin member against rotation within the slotted portion and a wider sector-shaped portion that allows the second hinge pin member to rotate relative to the first hinge pin member.

The package is formed of a generally planar strip of foldable material having a first and second fold lines forming a front panel, a rear panel, and an intermediate panel. The panels are disposed with respect to each other and foldable along respective fold lines to form an interior space into which the wallet/billfold can be inserted. The rear panel includes a pair of openings through which the band of the wrist-watch can be extended to surround the package with the wallet/billfold therein. At least one of the front and rear panels includes advertising indicia and the front panel includes an opening to suspend the display package.

Abstract: A portable storage container (10) having a base shell (12) and cover shell (14) is disclosed. The shells (12) and (14) are planar and generally circular in shape with the exception of a spine (16) spanning between and integrally joining the base and cover shells (12) and (14). Disc shaped recesses (16) and (18) in combination with tine type gripping components (20) and (22) grip a compact disc within each base and cover shell (12) and (14). A groove (48) located equidistant between the centers of the shells (12) and (14) on the spine (16) forms a live hinge. The cover shell (14) may be bent towards the base shell (12), encasing the compact discs held in the disc shaped recess (16) and (18) of the shells (12) and (14). A locking mechanism maintains the storage container 10 in the closed position until opened by the user. Two tabs (36) with apertures (38) allow the storage container (10) to be removably mounted in a ring binder.

Abstract: A bag having an article display aperture and a folded support surface formed in a front panel thereof for supporting and displaying various types of articles. The bag is formed of relatively stiff material and its front panel is provided with cuts and scored areas defining a tab that is folded to form a generally wedge-shaped support surface for supporting various articles behind the aperture. The bag can be supported on a flat surface such as a counter top or a table top or may be suspended in an elevated position by handles at its upper end for displaying various articles, and may also be used as a conventional gift bag or shopping bag. An insert sheet formed of decorative material may also be inserted in the bag along its back panel to serve as a colorful background.

Abstract: A method of packaging liquid detergent or fabric softener for single load use comprising forming a container from a thermoplastic material such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene and the like, to a size sufficient to contain a 3-4 ounce amount of a liquid bleach or liquid bleaching agent containing detergent in a well thereof. The container comprises an open well with a peripheral lip an open end thereof. A printed foil strip, sized to cover the opening and at least a full circumferential portion of the container lip is heat or adhesive sealed to the plastic after the detergent is disposed therein. The foil and seal are of sufficient strength to retain the 3-4 ounces of liquid bleach or bleaching agent containing detergent even in an obverted position with jostling such as during transport. Because of the nature of the seal, the container is not readily fully reclosable, and the full contents must, as a practical matter, be used once the container is opened, i.e., single use.

Abstract: A wafer container and improved door. The wafer container door has a latch mechanism cover adapted to retain and guide the latch mechanism components. The latch mechanism cover is form fitted to the latch mechanism components and may have apertures, creating a cover with an open architecture. The open architecture is of benefit for making the area under the mechanism cover more easily cleanable.

Abstract: A large percentage of solids are removed from a manure slurry when the slurry is run across a sloped screen separator. The sloped screen on the separator has very small openings. Further, the separator controls the air flow through the sloped screen. In addition, the separator can have a water line with spray heads formed across the sloped screen. The spray heads direct water under pressure on the manure slurry on the sloped screen.

Abstract: A description is given of equipment for filtering liquids, comprising three sections superimposed coaxially and placed above a container with filter walls for collecting the filtered particles. From the top to the bottom, the first section communicates directly with the second, while the second communicates with the third sector, and the latter communicates with the container via two valves. A pump introduces the liquid to be filtered into the first section, inside a filter layer, and another pump projects a quantity of the previously filtered liquid against the filter layer from the inside of the first section. By cyclically operating the valves it is possible to continuously filter the liquid, which flows out in the filtered state from ducts which branch from the first section, even while the particles deposited in the third section are discharged into a container with filter walls which is immersed in a vessel containing the liquid to be filtered.

Abstract: A system for storing equipment in a rack comprises a U-shaped enclosure having two opposing side surfaces perpendicularly coupled to a bottom surface, and an attachment element for detachably coupling the U-shaped enclosure to at least one other U-shaped enclosure to form a plurality of configurations, such that an electronic component storage rack can be constructed incrementally.

Abstract: A merchandise display device for dispensing and displaying digital media cases. Digital media cases are inserted vertically into the opening between the front panel and the lateral supports. This opening limits the number of cases which can be removed and/or inserted at one time. The width of the opening allows only two cases to be inserted or removed at a time, to deter theft. The opening, however, still allows for easy access when removing or inserting the cases. A replaceable pusher is attached to the back wall of the unit to bias the digital media cases toward the front panel. The display units are broken into two separate components, a right and left side. The components allow for flexibility in arranging the display system, depending on the need of the vendor.

Abstract: A frame structure includes a pair of sideboards facing each other, each sideboard having an inner surface provided with a plurality of support grooves for receiving and supporting panel plates, a first joint for fixing one of the pair of sideboards to a base and a second joint for fixing the other of the pair of sideboards to the base and provided with a movement-effecting mechanism. The first and second joints have formed on the facing inner surfaces thereof at substantially the same height steps for contacting side surfaces of the panel plates and supporting the panel plates. At least one of the steps has a surface for contacting at one side surface of one of the panel plates prior to panel plates being received in the plurality of support grooves in order to set a distance between end surfaces of opposed ones of the plurality of support grooves equal to a sum of the width of the panel plates received in and supported by the plurality of support grooves and a predetermined clearance.

The frame is covered with one or more explosion resistant sheets to form the explosion resistant side panels. The explosion resistant panels may also include a sheet of polycarbonate, and may also include padding or insulation placed between layers of the explosion resistant sheets. The side panels and flexible door comprise one or more of explosion resistant sheets, with one or more of the sheets of the plurality of explosion resistant sheets have edges wrapped around and secured to one or more mounting strips, with the edges of the plurality of explosion resistant sheets and mounting strips being bonded together. The mounting strips are currently preferably formed of metal, such as aluminum.

Abstract: The present invention is a container assembly that includes an inner tube formed from a plastic that is substantially inert to bodily fluids and an outer tube that is formed from a different plastic. Collectively, the container assembly is useful for providing an effective barrier against gas and water permeability in the assembly and for extending the shelf-life of the container assembly, especially when used for blood collection. The outer surface of the inner tube and/or the inner surface of the outer tube are provided with a matte finish that forms an array of peaks and valleys. The valleys form circuitous paths that accommodate a flow of air to facilitate insertion of the inner tube into the outer tube. The circuitous paths also allow air to vent during processing to low pressure.

Abstract: A storage box including a body, a lid and an arm member. The body is provided with a storage portion and a guide portion. The lid is provided with a sliding portion engaged with and directed by the guide portion. The arm member is held rotatably by the body at a first end thereof, and is held rotatably by the lid at a second end thereof. This construction accommodates various loads or forces applied to the lid during opening and closing, thereby decreasing overall strain upon the storage box and eliminating the need to reinforce the body, the lid and the arm member. The result is a functionally simplified yet strengthened storage box capable of being manufactured at reduced costs.

Abstract: An adjustable underground utility housing with a lid for access from above ground is disclosed and comprises a housing formed with upstanding wall portions defining a cavity having an upper opening to support a lid and a bottom opening. The housing has utility piping inlet and outlet openings through which the piping enters and exits the housing for servicing a facility. The openings each have flexible closures for preventing dirt from entering the openings into the cavity of the housing. The closures are sufficiently flexible for sliding down over the utility piping yet sufficiently resilient to prevent the dirt from entering the housing cavity. The closures can be formed with overlapping horizontally oriented bristles, with a sheet of rubberized material having a centrally located vertical slit, or with this same sheet of rubberized material with the addition of horizontal slits to form reinforced stiffened fingers.

The napkin includes a generally rectangular body portion and a smaller generally rectangular tab portion connected by a line of weakness. The tab portion is adhered to the holder, preferably on the inner surface of the holder. The line of weakness is positioned at the top edge of the holder sleeve. The napkin body and napkin tab are notched on opposite sides at the line of weakness. The inner surface of the holder has a plurality of discreet, spaced apart, hemispherical-shaped protrusions on the inner surface thereof.

Abstract: A package for dispensing sheet material from a stack includes a novel biasing device for urging the stack of sheet material toward an opening in one side of the package. The biasing device is comprised of a flat sheet of material sized and shaped to be located within the package beneath the stack of sheet material. An elastomeric element having an unstressed length that is less than a diameter of the flat sheet of material is stressed and positioned between opposite edges of the flat sheet of material. As stress is relieved from the elastomeric element, the elastomeric element draws the opposite edges together and elevates a central portion of the sheet of material in the form of an arch to urge the stack toward the opening as the stack of sheet material is depleted.

Abstract: A product dispenser comprising a cover, a slidable push element, a base and a landing is provided. The cover and the base are rotatable with respect to each other about a common axis. The cover comprises a roof opening in which the push element slides in opposing directions, advancing product from the interior of the cover onto the landing. In a preferred embodiment, the dispenser houses miniature zinc air batteries, secured to the base using an adhesive platform. When a cell is advanced from the interior of the cover onto the landing, the cell is separated from the adhesive platform, allowing air to pass into the cell and the cell to be activated. The landing preferably comprises a magnet for releasably securing product. The dispenser is then used as an inserter for orienting and placing the product in position in a device. The product is not directly handled during its removal from the dispenser or during its insertion into a device.

Abstract: A pressurized delivery module having two chambers enables refill of the module while liquid material continues to be supplied to a semiconductor processing tool. Initially, the chambers are in fluid communication with each other through a valve assembly, with positive pressure applied to the module from an inert gas supply. When material in the module becomes depleted, the chambers are isolated from one another to permit refilling. In the refill module state, one chamber remains pressurized, with material remaining therein continued to be dispensed to the semiconductor fabrication tool. The second chamber is vented and placed into fluid communication with the bulk material supply. Once the level of material in the second chamber has been replenished and processing of the remaining wafer has been completed, during transfer of the next incoming wafer to the tool, the second chamber is sealed off from the material supply, repressurized, and placed back into fluid communication with the first chamber.

One or more open-ended slits allow the handle portion to be easily slipped onto the free end of a tube or to be slipped back onto an already curled tube for further ease of manipulation. The toothbrush easily slips off the tube after curling with it, so as to allow the toothbrush to be used for brushing teeth, and allows its use on a plurality of collapsible tubes in various stages of use. The brush head portion can be made detachable so that other attachments made be attached to the handle portion or so that a winding tool remains after the toothbrush head is rendered no longer usable.

The outlet includes a plurality of stepped receptacles for communicably receiving respective sizes of test sample holders. A spring actuated plunger is slidably mounted within the dispenser body between the inlet and the outlet. The plunger includes a reagent accommodating compartment. The spring urges the plunger into a first state wherein the plunger is communicably connected to the inlet for receiving a single dosage of reagent from the container. The user presses the plunger to drive the plunger within the dispenser body so that the compartment is communicably connected to the outlet. As a result, the reagent in the compartment is dispensed through the outlet into the test sample holder.

Abstract: A modified clothes hanger configured to suspend belts from a clothing rod. The device has a hook on its upper extreme, and a transverse beam on its lower extreme. A series of alternating prongs extend outward and upward from the transverse beam. The hook is placed over the clothing rod to install the device in a closet. The belt buckle of each belt to be hung is placed over one of the alternating prongs. The prongs are positioned and oriented so that the resulting weight placed on the hanger is well balanced. A variety of embodiments are described, including a hanger formed as one piece from molded plastic.

Abstract: A lug wrench and spare tire locking assembly that is attached to a motor vehicle or trailer which includes a hollow wrench carrier body (20) having four open-ended slots (22) at right angles to each other that are configured to interface with a four-way lug-wrench (56). The body has a pair of opposed short legs (24) formed between two adjacent slots, and another pair of opposed long legs (26) formed between each remaining slot. The body also includes a shackle lock pin (28) that extends beyond the legs. A slotted flange (38) is joined to a vehicle bracket (44) and threaded shaft (36) connects the body to the flange. A spare wheel is fastened to the vehicle bracket on top of the flange and a four-way lug-wrench (56) is placed over the wheel interfacing with the slots in the body.

Abstract: A strap that can be wrapped around a notebook binder at right angles to its spine and separably attaches to the notebook binder and wraps around the notebook and overlaps itself and separably attaches to itself, and preferably, in its closed position, has carrying means as an integral part of the strap.

Abstract: An apparatus for and method of retaining a beach chair (or other object having metal tubing) on a bicycle (or other wheeled vehicle). The apparatus includes a metal plate, having a hole in its middle, at which it is attached to a bolt extending from the axle of the rear wheel of the bicycle or other vehicle. At one end of the plate is a metallic cylindrical clamp with an interior lining of rubber (or other elastic material). The aluminum tubing of a beach chair may be retained in the cylindrical clamp, to carry the beach chair on the vehicle. The cylindrical clamp has two longitudinal sections, that may opened and securely closed using a lever. There is a notch at the other end of the plate, by which it may be retained on the frame of the bicycle or other vehicle, to prevent it from turning on the axle.

Abstract: A dispenser for a roll of plastic film wrap material, comprising a grooved base (22) defining an elongated trough and having a partial cylinder shaped roll top cover (52), said roll top cover being augmented by a saw tooth cutter (62) and a cutter safety guard (66). The roll top cover (52) is pivotably positioned between parallel end walls, which are constructed of furniture like material and support a space saver shelf (30). An inclined plane (40) stabilizes the roll of plastic wrap, and a static bar (36) holds the loose end of said plastic wrap.

Abstract: A device for regulating the tension of a moving web of material, in particular a web of paper in a paper-working machine such as a corrugating machine, comprises a machine frame; a first roller that is mounted for rotation about a first axis of rotation in relation to the machine frame, taking up a web of material by an angle of contact a; and a supporting device, which supports itself on the machine frame, and which is mounted for pivoting about the first axis of rotation by a pivoting drive, and which supports at least a second roller mounted for rotation about a second axis of rotation that is substantially parallel to the first axis of rotation; wherein the angle of contact a of the web of material on the first roller is modifiable by the at least one second roller being pivoted about the first roller.
