Abstract: A reverse flow air filter arrangement is provided. The arrangement includes a filter element having first and second end caps, the second end cap having a central drainage aperture. A funnel shape on an interior surface of second end cap is used to direct moisture flow to the drainage aperture. The arrangement includes a housing in which the filter element is positioned, operatively, during use. Certain features in the housing facilitate moisture withdrawal from the filter element while also inhibiting interference with sealing between the filter element and the housing.

Abstract: Disclosed is a filter assembly for a vacuum cleaner, comprising a dust container having a desired-sized storing space and an upper opening; an inclined guide provided at an upper and outer circumferential surface of the dust container; a cover having a through-hole for sucking external air and disposed to cover the upper opening of the dust container; a fixing lever disposed at an outside of a rim of the cover so as to be slid and having a protrusion protruded toward an inner side of the cover, the protrusion being slid while contacted with the inclined guide, whereby the cover being closely contacted with the dust container; and a filter removably disposed at a filter mounting portion formed by opening a portion of a wall of the dust container. Therefore, it is facile that the cover 120 is closely contacted with the dust container using the inclined guide provided at the dust container and the fixing lever disposed at the cover so as to be contacted with the inclined guide and slid.

Abstract: A foldable filter frame is provided. The filter frame includes a filter media panel and a rectangular support frame surrounding the filter media panel. The support frame included four edge elements. Each edge element has a double-walled construction and is foldable into a position in which a first leg of the respective edge element is generally perpendicular to a second leg of the edge element. An end of at least one of the edge elements that defines a corner of the support frame supports a foldable tab that is receivable in a complementary slot in an end of the other edge element defining the respective corner of the support frame with the tab being arranged in an inner space between the double-walls of the edge element.

Abstract: A draper header includes two side drapers each running from an outer end guide roller at a first end of the header to an inner end guide roller adjacent the discharge location of the header and a central feed draper located at the discharge location and including a front guide roller just behind the cutter bar and running to a rear guide roller in front of the feeder house of the combine harvester. An auger is located between the discharge rollers with a front edge of the flight forward of the rear end of the discharge rollers to feed the material inwardly and underneath the auger to the inlet of the feeder house. The feed draper carries cleats which are angled to the rollers in two sections converging to a central leading apex to reduce forces on the cleat as they pass over the front guide roller which is of reduced diameter to fit within a small space adjacent the cutter bar.

Abstract: Combined thermal and compressed air storage systems are provided that utilize an exhaustless heater, such as a thermal storage unit, to provide power with enhanced efficiency. Compressed air is heated by the thermal storage unit prior to entering a turbine, which powers an electrical generator. In various embodiments, ambient air temperature, turbine exhaust or other types of waste heat are used to preheat the compressed air prior to the compressed air entering the thermal storage unit, thereby further increasing system efficiency.
