On the other hand, there is an enlargement of the surface area, at least in the area adjacent to the crank mechanism, for purposes of heat dissipation, specifically through cooling ribs (12).

A break-away tendon or tendons attach the wedge to the tab portion or portions and break to allow wedge movement for achieving the locked position when the blade is driven into the slot. Alternatively, a wedge is pre-positioned in an housing in the indent whereby blade tab portions move into a locked position upon contact with the wedge. The mold is engraved, and the blade is formed by laser or water jet cutting.

The grate can be used in a system that includes valving, a source of fluid, and, if needed, a source of vacuum to help facilitate venting by drawing atmosphere out of the cavity during molding. The grate can also be used to introduce fluid into the mold that can be foaming moldable material or a heat transfer medium.

The station conveyor returns the form to the form loading station to manufacture more unitary concrete blocks. For increased production, multiple forms can be conveyed between stations simultaneously. Additionally, a metering ingredient assembly may be used to deliver appropriate amounts of desired ingredients to a mixer for producing the lightweight concrete composite.

    Abstract: A low profile board-to-board connector assembly includes a receptacle and a detachable plug. The receptacle has a receptacle housing with a plurality of arrayed first contacts mounted therein. Each first contact has a base portion, a first solder tail portion extending outwardly from one end of the base portion for connection with a first PCB, a retention portion perpendicular to the base portion, and a free first spring contact portion bent from the other end of the base portion and extending parallel to the retention portion. The plug has a plug housing with a plurality of arrayed second contacts mounted therein. Each second contact has a U-shaped portion with a pair of legs one of which is a free second spring contact portion and the other of which is a locking portion, and a second solder tail potion bent from an end of the locking portion and extending outwardly for connection with a second PCB.

Both connectors have electrical conductors for communicating electrically with each other. The assembly also includes a yoke pivotally coupled to the housing. The yoke is engagable with the second connector to move the second connector into full mating engagement with the first connector as the yoke is pivoted to its closed position. A latching device is coupled to the yoke, and the latching device is releasably engageable with the housing to releasably hold the yoke in its closed position. The latching device is operable to unlatch and permit the yoke to be pivoted to its open position and allow the second connector to be disconnected from the first connector if sufficient tension is applied to the second connector in a direction to pull the second connector away from the first connector.
