Abstract: The proposed invention is a method of cooling the human body using compressed air in the manner described by U.S. Pat. No. 5,438,707 without the necessity of directing the nozzles of the air jets directly at the body. The proposed invention directs the air jets in a parallel manner to the surface of the body thus cooling by both the expansion of the gas and evaporative cooling enhanced by larger contact with said surface of the body. Said air jets also cool by a coanda effect that entraps large amounts of air and pulls it along the surface of the body thus increasing evaporation. The present invention also entraps the cold air within a wind resistant cover replacing the mesh outer cover design.

Abstract: A pool cover drain substantially completely drains collected rainwater without use of pumps or electrical hookups. The pool cover drain is non-centrally located in a pool cover. It is attached to a flexible hose that directs the water to a swimming pool sidewall drain outlet. A weighted tubular element creates a conical depression in said swimming pool cover. The weighted tubular element is placed atop the pool cover in close proximity to said pool cover drain. Collected rainwater is directed along the outside and, optionally, the inside walls of the weighted tubular element, and into the pool cover drain. Angled weighted projections are located on an end of the weighted tubular element proximate the pool cover drain to facilitate gravity feed of collected rainwater into the pool cover drain. These angled weighted projections are weighted by filling the projection tube with sand, or optionally without sand by slotting the projection tube and allowing rainwater to collect therein and act as a weight.

Abstract: A bath lift for easily transferring a user into and out of a bathtub. The bather inflates the bath lift with liquid from a liquid source in order to raise the bath lift to a height of a chair. By inflating the bath lift with liquid, the bath lift conforms to the sides of the bathtub and provides a safe and secure seat for a bather to sit on. After inflating the bath lift and sitting onto the bath lift, the bather releases the liquid from the bath lift into the bathtub. As a result, the bather is safely and slowly lowered into the bathtub. Once the bather has finished bathing, the bather inflates the bath lift once again to raise the bath lift to the height of a chair. The bather then exits from the bathtub, thereby making the task of bathing oneself simple again.

Abstract: A utility vacuum that may be configured to employ a disposable bag or removable and reusable container for the collection of dirt and debris that are drawn into the utility vacuum. The utility vacuum may employ one or more movable legs that are movable between an extended position, which provides relatively stable operation of the utility vacuum, and a retracted position, which reduces the footprint of the utility vacuum so that it is easier to store.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a first housing defining a cyclonic airflow chamber and a second housing defining a main suction opening that is in communication with an inlet of the cyclonic chamber. A suction source has a suction airstream inlet in communication with an outlet of the cyclonic chamber, and establishes a suction airstream that enters said main suction opening, passes through said cyclonic chamber, and passes to an outlet of said suction source. A substantial portion of particulates entrained in the suction airstream are separated therefrom when said suction airstream moves in a cyclonic fashion through the cyclonic chamber.
