Abstract: Multifunctional pocketed heel on footwear and imitations footwear, utilizing the heel as a functional compartment to store items, and/or as a decorative purpose. The heel attached to the footwear and imitations features locking device(s) to secure items within the heel. Heel features a hollow space within in which to store items, hence providing space for contents in addition to the interior of the footwear and its imitations. Case in point, imitations of footwear refers (but not limited to) items such as bag designs in the configuration of a footwear where in the functional heel can provide the additional space to store valuables. As a walking footwear function as a hideaway compartment to hide valuables.

Abstract: A controller tower positioning system for a work vehicle for securing the controller tower to one of at least two positions. The system employs a mounting bracket fixed to the floor or a frame member of the work vehicle, a movable controller tower rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket and a resistive element strategically mounted to the controller tower and the mounting bracket to provide resistance to movement away from either of the two positions and a toggle effect as the controller tower is moved from one of the two positions to the other. The controller assembly is physically restrained at the free end of the controller tower.

Abstract: A tip assembly has a replaceable wear member mounted to an adapter carried on the cutting edge of an implement of an earth-working machine. The adapter has an external surface formed to engage a complementary internal cavity of the wear member and includes a pair of transversely spaced sides at least one of the transversely spaced sides include a guide arrangement and a retainer pocket positioned therein. The wear member has a body with an exterior ground-engaging surface, a mounting end, an adapter receiving cavity and at least one ear extending from the mounting end. The at least one ear is configured to be received by the guide arrangement when the wear member is positioned on the adapter.

Abstract: A reminder card having a printed message is printed directly on the mailing envelope on the rear lower portion of the envelope and is perforated for easy removal. The reminder card is slipped into a window pocket on the front face of the envelope to display the reminder message. A base for forming the envelope into an upstanding display is formed by bending a flap on the bottom rear of the envelope upward into an arc and adhering the flap to a gummed flange formed from the outer edge of the sealing flap of the envelope to create a triangular shaped display capable of remaining upright. A magnetic strip glued to the envelope allows the envelope to be secured to a vertical ferrous surface.

The power can be from the mains, or alternative energy sources such as solar panels or a dynamo. The rotation can be wind-powered, or motorised. Abstract: Disclosed is an adornment for photograph or picture display, which displays a photograph or a picture in a three-dimensional and beautiful space. The adornment includes a draft sheet including a draft with various figures, shapes and colors on a back plate; a plurality of picture sheets including a plurality of pictures with various figures and shapes to be three-dimensionally accumulated on the draft of the draft sheet; and a sticker sheet including a releasable sheet attached to each of both surfaces thereof and a plurality of stickers with various sizes to mediate accumulation of the plurality of pictures on the draft of the draft sheet with predetermined heights. Also, the present invention discloses a method of manufacturing the adornment.

Abstract: A message holder is disclosed comprising a sheet of pliant material whose front surface comprises a first portion at one end, a second portion at the other end, and an intermediate portion, and whose rear surface comprises a first portion at one and a second portion at the other end. With the exception of the second portion of the front surface which is reserved for displaying a desired message, the various portions of the holder are attachable to one another in various ways with all or at least a portion of the holder wrapped around a pipe, cable or other elongated structure. Differing configurations permitting a message to be displayed are possible and users are able to choose the configuration they prefer or the configuration that is best suited for a given task. As well, two or more of such holders may be connected with each other to display two or more messages in close proxity.

Abstract: A mechanism for indexing the movement of a firearm cylinder to load and unload cartridges from a plurality of cartridge-receiving chambers in the cylinder. The firearm may generally comprise a cylinder, a supporting structure rotatably carrying the cylinder and a loading gate cutout. The indexing mechanism may comprise a cylinder indexing member, which in one embodiment may be a stop pin. The cylinder is configured to be stoppingly engaged by the indexing member when the cylinder is rotated in a first direction to align a cartridge-receiving chamber with the loading gate cutout in the frame, thereby creating an indexed position of the cylinder. Preferably, a plurality of indexed positions are created to allow each chamber to be aligned with the loading gate cutout for loading and unloading cartridges. In one embodiment, the cylinder is further freely rotatable in a second direction opposite the first direction without stopping engagement between the cylinder and indexing member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a foot operated fishing net tipping apparatus releasably attached to a fishing boat comprising: a boat-attaching portion, a net-holding portion, a lock portion, a foot pedal portion and connecting members. A conventional fishing net is therefore frictionally attached within an opening of the net-attaching portion, which rotably pivots atop the boat-attaching portion. A foot pedal is linked to the net-attaching portion as such to allow the pedal's motion to be transferred to the net-attaching portion. A fisherman can raise and lower the fishing net with one foot, thereby freeing both hands for the fishing rod.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the manufacture of ferrous picrate and the preparation of fuel additives containing ferrous picrate. A process for producing ferrous picrate includes dissolving picric acid in a mixture of an aromatic hydrocarbon and an aliphatic alcohol in the presence of a trace amount of water and a metallic iron, thus forming a ferrous picrate solution. The ferrous picrate solution is blended with an organic solvent to form the fuel additive. Ferrous picrate produced by the product is also described.

Abstract: An organically clean biomass fuel formed of mixture of a powder, which may be either dried, cellulosic product, wood charcoal powder, and/or a combination of the two, and a fluid, which may be vegetable oil, vegetable alcohol or a combination of the two. A centrifugal machine dries moist, cellulosic product and extracts black liquor. A grinder transforms the dried, cellulosic product into powder. Gum may be extracted from the vegetable oil or vegetable alcohol. A batch mixer or vibrating vessel mixes the powder and the fluid together; the fluid moisturizes the powder. Depending upon the relative amount of the fluid as compared to powder, the mixture will either be in a liquid cream state or a doughy state. If the latter, the mixture may be pressed into briquettes or ingots.

Abstract: A method and system for blending and dispensing fuels that makes it easier for a retail filling station (10) to provide blended fuels to its customers and that more effectively encourages customers to purchase the blended fuels. Gasoline and additives such as ethanol are received and stored in separate tanks (12-18) at the filling station. Customers of the filling station are then allowed to select the amount of additive, if any, to add to their gasoline. Once a selection has been made, a proportioner (40) blends the selected amount of additive with gasoline at the time of purchase and then dispenses the blended fuel to the customer.

Abstract: A protective cover for a vehicle comprising a sheet or a web of a flexible material that possesses a property of buckling or curving in the upward direction from the vehicle with the formation of a canopy-type shield for protecting the vehicle from direct sun rays, birds' droppings, etc. The sheet has a length exceeding the length of the upper surface periphery of the vehicle so that the upwardly curved canopy is formed either by applying two oppositely directed forces to the opposite ends of the sheet or by prestressing the sheet. The sheet can be made from plastic or a fabric that incorporates springing metal strips that tend to curve upward when they are in a free state. The sheet can be conveniently stored in wound state in a cylindrical cassette. Storage of the flexible material in a wound state enhances the property of bucking or curving when the sheet is withdrawn from the cassette.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a roof flashing assembly for use on a sloped roof surface having an elongate projection extending substantially upwardly therefrom in skewed relation thereto. The roof flashing assembly has a resilient, flexible, sleeve sized to fit over, and surround, the projection. The sleeve has a base portion, a neck portion and a passageway defined therebetween for receiving the projection therethrough. A bellows tube is formed on the neck portion to permit the sleeve to flex adaptively to accommodate for the skewed orientation of the projection relative to the sloped roof surface. The roof flashing assembly also includes a grommet which is positionable in surrounding relation with the projection. The grommet has three beveled lip members, which frictionally sealingly engage the exterior surface of the projection when urged in abutting relation therewith. An annular gasket positionable below the base portion of the sleeve, is also provided.

When a tarpaulin is placed on the head support, the retractable rods may extend its length to the degree that the tarpaulin is fully expanded and secured.

Abstract: An elastic supporter, an elastic support unit, and a seismic support unit using the same with a high ability to absorb vertical impacts applied to a seismic isolation guide are provided. The seismic isolation guide 10 includes two sets of upper and lower rolling guide parts 10A, 10B each having track rails 20A, 20B and movable blocks 30A, 30B incorporating therein a plurality of rows of endlessly circulating rolling members 40A, 40B which are in rolling contact with the track rails 20A, 20B, respectively. The two sets of rolling guide parts 10A, 10B are arranged in a vertically opposite relation with respect to each other so as to place the respective track rails 20A, 20B at vertically opposite ends, respectively. The respective track rails 20A, 20B are arranged orthogonal to each other, and the respective movable blocks 10A, 10B are integrally fixed to each other.

Abstract: A hold-down system used to secure a building structure to the foundation, thereby enabling the building to better withstand forces like high winds and earthquakes because these forces may then be distributed to the foundation. The hold-down system is characterized as being continuously threaded and having stackable, individual take-up units. A continuously threaded hold-down system allows the system to compensate for shrinkage or crushing of the building's frame throughout each level of the building because the anchor of the system is always in communication with the foundation of the building. The individual take-up units are stackable allowing each level of the system to compensate for shrinkage or crushing on that level as well as adjacent levels.

Abstract: A toddler stair safety system is taught using a temporary net to allow for reliable hand gripping. The major object of this invention is the use of a heavy net with an optimally sized mesh that provides an easy gripping surface for a toddler hands with no choking or entrapment hazards. A further object of this invention is to provide a method of providing tension securement to a carpeted surface by the use of deep-machined hook surfaces. Another object of this invention is to teach the use of fastening a net to an existing banister by the use of hook and loop fasteners. Another object of this invention is to teach the manufacture of a carpeted stair gripper, which allows objects to be attached, and custom fitted, to the edges of carpeted stair steps with great strength and with no tools or defacement of the stairs.
