Abstract: A foundation shock eliminator for buildings or machines to dissipate or eliminate shock energy includes an upper block, a lower stationary base, a roller and an energy damping coating. The upper block and the lower stationary base have respectively a concave inner surface. The concave inner surfaces face each other. The roller is mounted between the concave inner surfaces. The energy damping coating dissipates the shock energy and is covers at least one of the surfaces of the upper block, the lower stationary base and the roller. Consequently, the foundation shock eliminator will aid the buildings or the machines to resist both vertical and horizontal shocks and diminish the shock effects to the buildings or machines. The energy damping coating will keep the entire foundation shock eliminator from being unstable whether or the foundation shock eliminator is subjected to shocks.

Abstract: An access floors for reducing floor impact sound. The access floor system includes a plurality of supports disposed at regular intervals, and upper plates placed on the supports, each of the upper plates including an upper board, a lower board, and a quadrangular reinforcing frame disposed between the upper board and the lower board. By employing the high rigidity sandwich upper plate, the upper plate can be light and the interval between the supports can be widened in comparison with the conventional access floor system, so that the floor impact sound reduction effect is enhanced. Since sound absorbing material or head insulation material is inserted between the reinforcing members, the sound absorption performance or the heat insulation performance can be enhanced. More particularly, the floor impact sound in apartments is absorbed so that comfortable environment without noise can be realized.

Abstract: An adjusting device of a thermo shrinkable film machine includes first and second blocks movably mounted on two rails between two sideswalls on the base of the machine. Each of the two blocks has a wheel for contacting the film on a shaft. Two rotatable rods have two threaded sections of different directions of threads which rotatably extend through the two blocks respectively. The two respective ends of the two rotatable rods are connected to a rotating piece which is rotatably received in a case located between the first and second blocks. A driving wheel drives one of the rotatable rods so as to move the two blocks in opposite directions and to adjust the distance between the two wheels contacting the film of different thickness.

Abstract: The flow of crop material through a harvesting machine, such as a combine, can be described using a wide range of models, providing a relationship between the harvester load u(t), e.g. the mass flow at the inlet, and an effectiveness value y(t), e.g. the grain loss at the outlet. However, prior art models are not applicable to a wide range of harvesting conditions or are very complicated, requiring a multitude of inputs. The invention proposes to use a simple model, comprising a stochastic parameter , which is continuously optimized to adjust the model to the latest prevailing working conditions. Such parameter may be considered to constitute a variable which characterizes the instantaneously prevailing readiness of the harvesting process. Such variable can be used for establishing field maps showing the evolution of the harvesting operation itself. It can also be used in automatic routines which adjust the harvester speed in order to limit the grain losses.
