Abstract: The present invention generally relates to stabilization straps, and is more specifically concerned with a helmet stabilization strap apparatus. The stabilization strap apparatus provides connectors so configured and sized as to be mountable on the helmet, and each include a first pivotal interconnecting element and a first interlocking element. The stabilization strap apparatus further includes a strap member having ends connectable to a respective connector. Each of the ends includes a second pivotal interconnecting element and a second interlocking element, such that the second pivotal interconnecting element is mountable in a pivotal connection to the first pivotal interconnecting element and the second interlocking element matingly corresponds to the first interlocking element. Each ends of the strap member is pivotable around the pivotal connection and lockable at various strap positions with respect to the connectors when the second interlocking element engages the first interlocking element.

Abstract: The present invention relates to symmetrical cationic diazo compounds of formula (I) below, their resonance forms, and also their acid addition salts and their solvates: in which W1 radicals, which are identical, represent a halogen atom or an —NR4—Ph—NR5R6, —NR4—Ph—OR7, —O—Ph—OR7 or —O—Ph—NR5R6 group; L, a cationic linker connecting the two identical azo chromophores represents a C2-C40 alkyl radical which carries at least one cationic charge and is optionally substituted and/or optionally interrupted by one or more, saturated or unsaturated (hetero)cycles; the linker L containing no azo, nitro, nitroso or peroxo bond. The invention further relates to dyeing compositions comprising such compounds as a direct dye in a medium appropriate for the dyeing of keratin fibres, and also to a method of colouring keratin fibres that employs this composition, and a device having a plurality of compartments.

Abstract: An object is to provide a main tower of a bridge having a rectangle-shaped cross section which can effectively reduce oscillation for wind blowing in the direction normal to the bridge axis. A cross sectional shape of a tower column is a rectangle shape with a direction normal to the bridge axis dimension smaller than a bridge-axis direction dimension. A slit passing through in the direction normal to the bridge axis is formed in a substantially central position, and a ratio of the bridge-axis direction dimension of the slit with respect to the bridge-axis direction dimension of the cross section is between 0.2 and 0.3.

Abstract: Portable wheel chair ramps consist of a platform and ramp sections. The platform and ramp sections are sandblasted. Ramp sections have an extended adjustable legs, (U.S. Pat. No. 6,810,995.). Ramp sections have an extruded locking mechanism underneath that connect one section to others using a specifically designed tube and a configurated J hook. Rails are then connected to extended adjustable legs of ramp sections and secured to each other with an end post and an angle piece of aluminum, then bolted together, insuring the rigidity of the railing system to comply with codes. Bolting the rails together with an inner handrail gives a continuous railing system for the purpose of individuals using a wheel chair to traverse the ramp. Inner rails are secured to the railing system and the leg posts with a bolt, this rail runs the entire length of the ramp on both sides.

Abstract: An electric toothbrush is provided. The electric toothbrush has an elongate body having a handle, a head, and a neck extending between the handle and the head. The body has an interior chamber with a motor. A shaft is operatively connected to the motor. A first movable bristle carrier is disposed on the head. The shaft is operatively connected to the first bristle carrier to impart motion thereto. The first bristle carrier has a first composite tuft formed from a plurality of closely spaced bristle tufts and a plurality of second bristle tufts. The second tufts have a height that is greater than a height of the first composite tuft. The bristles of the first composite tuft having free ends and the bristles of the second tufts having free ends.

Abstract: An interdental treatment device, such as a toothbrush, includes a handle configured to accommodate an electric power source, a head carrying an interdental treatment tool, and a neck between the handle and the head. The head or neck includes a mechanical motorized vibratory device, including a drive which causes the head to vibrate. Electrical connections are operably connected to the mechanical vibratory device and the electric power source to power the mechanical vibratory device via the electrical connections. In various embodiments, a switch may be operably connected to at least one of the electrical connections to interrupt power from the power source to the mechanical motorized vibratory device. In various embodiments, a vibration-damping structure dampens vibration transmission from the head to the handle.
