Abstract: A device for processing wallpaper bonded to a surface, includes a rotatable, motor-driven carrier, on which the processing tools are provided; with a holder for the rotatable carrier, where the free ends of the processing tools act on certain areas of the wallpaper to be processed, and where the processing tools and the carrier are surrounded by a protective part. The processing tool is a perforating tool. After the perforating tool has been set against the wallpaper, the distance between the protective part and the wallpaper to be perforated can be adjusted. For this purpose, the holder of the carrier is constructed in the form of an adjusting sleeve with a clamping ring and by mounting the holder on the protective part, wherein the clamping ring mounted on the protective part surrounds the adjusting sleeve.

Abstract: The inventive clamping member is a rigid clamp having a generally “U”-shaped configuration the base of which is defined by two arms each terminating in an upwardly directed clamping finger adapted to engage the rim of a bottom of a violin or the like at opposed sides of the body of the instrument. A pivot, usually in the form of a threaded stem projects from the base of the “U” in a direction opposite to that of the projection of the clamping fingers. It normally secures free pivotal mounting of the clamping members at the ends of a shoulder rest bridge. The stem defines an axis of pivot of the clamping member which is offset to one of the clamping fingers, whereby the two arms are of uneven length. The shorter arm is relatively proximal to the tail of the instrument, while the longer arm is relatively distal from the tail.

Abstract: Many kinds of dispensing devices for drinks or similar fluid foodstuffs, especially for coffee and/or milk are already known. Said devices comprise supply means for supplying at least two different hot drinks, filling outlets for dispensing hot drinks into at least one cup and valve means for stopping and releasing drink pipelines between the supply devices and the filling devices. According to the invention, in order to improve hygiene and product quality, the valve means are embodied in such a manner that additional pipelines for supplying and/or discharging flushing agents for cleaning, hot water or steam for preheating or other similar fluids, can be connected to the valve means instead of to the drinks pipelines in order to treat the valve means in the areas through which hot drinks flow. As a result, a rinsing process can be automatically controlled between two dispensing steps.

The guide includes an elongated flexible spine formed from a plurality of hinged elements. Each of the elements is hingedly connected to and independently movable relative to each adjacent element. The elements define a central channel therein defined by a contiguous inner periphery. A hollow tubular element is positioned within the flexible spine and is flexible with the spine. The tubular element defines a pathway for movement of the strapping material therethrough between feed head and the strapping head.

Furthermore, a counter pressure device in the area of the discharge end of the circular gap is provided. To reduce the space requirement in the discharge area at the discharge end of the circular gap, which makes it possible to reduce the size of the discharge casing and cut costs due to a less complicated design, the counter pressure device has a counter pressure surface, the radius of which is decreasing in the conveying direction of the solid liquid mixture.

Abstract: A printing unit consists of at least two printing groups, which are placed vertically above each other, in a printing machine. Each of the printing groups includes a printing cylinder, an inking unit with at least one inking roller, a dampening unit with several dampening rollers arranged in a line, and a transfer cylinder that cooperates with the printing cylinder. The inking cylinder and the dampening roller, in an operational state in which they are adjacent the printing cylinder, form an obtuse opening angle with the printing cylinder. The rollers of the dampening unit are arranged with at least the first and last rollers in the roller train arranged inside an acute angle depending from the transfer cylinder. A horizontal line extending from the transfer cylinder defines an opening angle of less than 45° with the rollers of the dampening unit. Abstract: An apparatus for applying a conditioning solution, a rubber-covering solution, or a medium for producing an image-differentiating layer, to a surface to be coated, in particular to a rewritable and erasable printing forme positioned on a forme cylinder of a press, includes a coating roller which applies the fluid to the surface to be coated. The coating roller rolls on the surface to be coated and simultaneously executes a translational movement along an axis of rotation of the coating roller relative to the surface to be coated.
