Abstract: Reactive protective armors for diverting hitting bullets, shrapnel and small shells away from a trooper's helmet, vest and/or away from the skin of vehicles, planes, helicopters or marine vessels are described. The protective armor consists of multiplicity of reactive units, which cover the protected object like tiles. Each reactive unit includes tiny explosives on one side and parallel hinges opposite to the explosives. The hitting armament detonates the explosive, which in turn rotate the plate, thus diverting the bullet away from the protected object. Another embodiment of the reactive-protective unit is a pressurized cell full with noninflammable fluid or gel. In this case the protected object is covered with multiple pressurized cells. When a bullet or shrapnel punctures the skin of the cell the fluid or gel bursts and pushes the bullet away from the protected object. It is important to mention that the bullet activate only one unit, living the other units intact and ready to take other hits.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a coloring method of a natural leather and a colored natural leather using the same. The coloring method includes the steps of: putting the natural leather having a colored layer formed on one face thereof together with a releasing paper having an aqueous polyurethane layer and an adhesive layer sequentially coated thereon so that the colored layer and the adhesive layer are faced to be in contact with each other; and removing the releasing paper from the aqueous polyurethane layer. The colored natural leather includes an aqueous polyurethane layer; an adhesive layer formed on an upper surface of the aqueous polyurethane layer; a colored layer having various colors of pattern, formed on an upper surface of the adhesive layer; and a natural leather formed on an upper surface of the colored layer.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for altering the appearance of a section of fabric or garment to provide a naturally distressed and vintage appearance. The method includes providing a section of fabric having a contact area located on the exterior surface thereof and rubbing an abrading member across the surface of the fabric. In a preferred embodiment, the abrading member is comfortably fitted to the hands of a user and comprises a polyurethane foam block and an abrasive layer composed of a polyurethane elastomer and aluminum oxide particles. The apparatus may optionally include a rigid template or stencil positioned beneath the surface of the section of fabric which is abraded causing the shape of the stencil to be abraded on the outer surface of the fabric.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for finishing woollen textiles. According to the method, the woollen textile in an aqueous solution is brought into contact with protease enzyme in a large amount of water so that the woollen textile is moved as little as possible or not at all, at a temperature of about 60° C. or less for 10 to 90 min. The enzyme is inactivated and the woollen textile is taken to dry in mechanical drying at a temperature of about 60° C. or less to reach residual moisture content of 10 to 45%, and the final drying is carried out without mechanics.

Abstract: A ramp for a vehicle comprises an elongated track with a leading end and a trailing end. The leading end engages a flatbed platform of a vehicle, and the trailing end engages a ground surface so that there is a slope between the leading and trailing ends when the ramp is in a first usage. The elongated track is constituted by multiple engaging elements. The elements are movable relative to each other so that the elements are capable of being packed in a stack to define a platform for a wheel of a vehicle. This permits raising of the wheel of a vehicle above the ground level. There is a hinge between adjacent elements, and the elements of the ramp are hinged at opposite ends for relative folding to permit for a stacked relationship about adjacent ends.
