Abstract: This invention is a system and a method for styling hair and parting hair according to a predetermined pattern. The invention utilizes a stencil that has a patterned edge. Preferably, the stencil is a flattened elongated stencil device that is formed from a resilient material, such as plastic polyurethane or rubber, and is capable of conforming to the curvature of a human head. In operation the stencil device is placed over the area of hair to be styled and the patterned edge of the stencil device is traced through the hair with a parting device. The hair is then separated along the trace with the parting device to created a hair style with a part patterned substantially similar the patterned edge of the stencil device used. The parting device preferably has a tip portion for tracing the part through the hair and a handle portion for separating the hair.

Abstract: A solids removal system for use in removing sand and silt from well production fluids. The system has a manifold assembly provided with jetting nozzles, which is installed in a liquid- and solids-containing vessel, where solids have settled in the walls. The jetting nozzles deliver, in a pre-determined sequence, a solids-dislodging fluid, causing the solids to become suspended in the fluid. The dislodged solids and fluid are then extracted by pump from the vessel and directed to a solid-fluid separator. Solids-free fluid is returned for re-re-circulation through the vessel, while the solids are moved to a containment location.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of removing an organic material from an electronic device substrate surface. The method is particularly useful when the device substrate includes exposed metal. According to the present method, an electronic device substrate surface is exposed to a solution comprising ozone (O3) at a concentration ranging from about 45 ppm to about 600 ppm in a solvent consisting of pure propionic acid or propionic acid in combination with deionized water or a carbonate having from 2 to 4 carbons. The method is particularly useful in the manufacture of large surface areas covered with device structures, such as electronic TFT flat panel displays, solar cell arrays, and structures containing light-emitting diodes. The released hydrogen gas releases through a vent pipe which exits either through the fill pipe area or through a vent in the top of the automobile. A whistle on the vent pipe informs drivers, passengers and bystanders if the pressure relief valve is allowing the escape of hydrogen gas. A mechanical lever maintains the open position of the pressure relief valve once the airbag signal is received until the driver triggers a mechanical latch similar to a trunk release which returns the pressure relief valve to its normally closed position. The pressure relief valve can also open if for some reason the internal pressure of the hydrogen storage tank exceeds the appropriate safety level due to excess density and or temperature rise.

Abstract: A pressurized fluid line servicing tool assembly consists of a tool insertion adaptor, a cap removal tool and a plug setting tool. The tool insertion adaptor connects to a pipe of a pressurized fluid line and enables tools to be inserted and removed without releasing pressurized fluids, such as natural gas, to atmosphere. It has a tool insertion chamber which is divided into an upstream portion and a downstream portion by a valve. The cap removal tool connects to the tool insertion adaptor to enable service personnel to pass a cap removal wrench through the valve to remove a cap from an end of the pipe of the pressurized fluid line. The plug setting tool connects to the tool insertion adaptor to enable service personnel to pass a torque settable plug through the valve to set a plug into the end of the pipe.

Abstract: An improved valve system is described that comprises a diaphragm (9) and a means (3,4) for transferring a fluid pressure from a head of fluid to the diaphragm. The valve system operates on the principle that the pressure associated with a head of fluid can be transferred to diaphragm and be employed to control the position of the diaphragm. Being able to control the position of the diaphragm allows the valve system to find numerous applications in an environment where action may be required in response to a rising fluid levels e.g. the control of water levels with cisterns or marine vessels, or as a portable flood barrier.

Abstract: A device and apparatus is disclosed for coupling to a conduit, and a method to prevent a pressure within at least a portion of the conduit from increasing above a predetermined value. The device comprises a vent having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The vent is selectively actuable between a first closed configuration and a second vent configuration in which there is fluid communication between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet to thereby vent a fluid. The device also comprises a controller connectable to a hydraulic supply to control selective actuation of the vent. The controller comprises a first surface exposed to fluid from the hydraulic supply and a second surface exposed to fluid from the conduit. The first and second surfaces are arranged such that the vent is actuable into the second vent configuration when the pressure within the conduit increases above the predetermined value.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide one-way valve of a sealed bag to expel the dead air out from the bag with a preferred air-tight effect. The one-way valve comprises a valve seat, a diaphragm mounted inside the valve seat, the diaphragm is also in linear contact with a projected annular ring, a stop device pressed on the diaphragm, a valve cap screwed to the valve seat and pressed the stop device. Said valve cap has hooks adapted to the apertures of the seat, thus keep the cap on the seat not separated from thereof. Moving upward or downward the valve cap, the stop device can be controlled to press onto the diaphragm tightly or loose. An airtight effect is achieved with a pressure exerted between the stop device and the annular ring. Or one-way valve can expel the dead air through the air pores under diaphragm.
