Abstract: A sleeve assembly is mounted on a tube having a front through hole and a rear through hole. The sleeve assembly includes a tubular body, a limiting member, and a positioning pin. The tubular body includes a front end proximate to the front through hole, a rear end proximate to the rear through hole, and an inner peripheral wall extending between the front end and the rear end and having a limiting recess proximate to the rear end and a positioning recess proximate to and opening at the front end. The limiting member includes a limiting piece extending outwardly through the rear through hole of the tube and projecting resiliently into the limiting recess. The positioning pin is inserted in the front through hole of the tube and projects into the positioning recess.

A primary seal may be formed between the conduit and the receptacle and a secondary seal may be formed between the retainer and the receptacle. The split flange may be capable of being fitted firmly around the pipe having a flexible pipe body and a flared portion formed at an end portion of the pipe body. The split flange is provided with two or more arcuate flange members and two connecting members located at both end portions of the flange members and projecting outward from outer circumferential faces thereof. The flange members may be connected to each other to form an annular structure. An operation for fitting the flange members firmly around the pipe body is carried out easily.

Each speed-up gear set includes a shaft to which a pinion and a gear are coaxially mounted. The pinion of the first gear set engages the rack. The gear of the first gear set engages the pinion of the second gear set. The gear of the second gear set is drivingly coupled to the generator. Thus, by attaching the system to a wearer by a mounting device, the systems continuously operates by the natural activity of the wearer and the rack drives, through the gear sets, the generator to generate electrical power.

Abstract: An improved system for generating electricity by harnessing natural gravitational forces, wherein a plurality of vessels are placed at the bottom of a deep enclosed chamber of liquid, the vessels being secured around tracking cables which extend within the chamber, and are held in place by the air lock Each vessel also has a retention system that is spun around a crankshaft in a mounted pool, the crankshaft being connected to a transmission, which is in turn connected to a generator via a freewheel. The vessels collect released pressurized air, through bottom openings, the air lock is released, and the vessels rush to the surface of the chamber along the tracking cables. When the vessels are released the collective force of their release rotates the crankshaft to generate electricity.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for generating electric power in freely flowing rivers, comprising a housing consisting of an outside housing (6) and an inside housing (7) having an outlet (10) formed as a suction pipe, with cavities (17) being provided between the outside housing (6) and the inside housing (7) in order to stabilize the apparatus close beneath the water surface, and with at least one turbine (12) arranged in the inside housing (7) which is flowed through axially and is connected with a generator (14), and with a traction means (2) for anchoring the apparatus. A robust apparatus which is especially protected against hazards caused by high water can be achieved in such a way that the traction means (2) consists of at least one longer anchor cable (2a), with the anchor cable (2a) being anchored in the used position in an inclined manner in front of the apparatus in the ground of the river, and of at least one shorter rise-limiting cable (2b).

The door handle extender is offset to clear an adjacent vertical bar and may further include a notch to engage a fifthwheel release handle to facilitate releasing a trailer.

One of the inner lever assembly and the outer lever assembly provides a reinforcing rose liner on which to provide at least two screw holes for screw-connection with the screw members. In installing operation, the screw members are engaged in the screw holes of the reinforcing liner, and then directly engaged on and slightly inserted into a surface of the door plank. Accordingly, the reinforcing liner securely mounts the lever assembly on the door plank when installed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hinge structure of a glove box for a vehicle. When pivot force is induced in the glove box by the weight of the glove box at the time of opening the glove box, the hinge structure provides pivotal frictional force produced hinged areas without employing a separate air damper, so that the pivot speed of the glove box can be reduced. As a result the glove box can be smoothly opened so as to prevent or substantially reduce the noise produced when the glove box is abruptly opened, thereby enhancing the commercial value of the resultant article.

Abstract: A tailgate counterbalancing hinge assembly includes a linear torque rod, a first end assembly and a second end assembly secured to the torque rod. A first end assembly pivotally supports the tailgate while permitting a torque rod end to be rigidly coupled to the tailgate for movement with the tailgate about a pivot axis. A second end assembly also pivotally supports the tailgate and permits the other end of the torque rod to be rigidly connected to the vehicle body. The first end assembly includes a bushing and split pivot body rotatably mounted within the bushing that creates increasing friction between the split pivot body and the bushing as the torque rod is twisted due to the tailgate being opened. The increasing friction creates a progressively increasing braking or dampening effect, which slows the free fall of the tailgate as it is opened.

The four bar link may be rotated to a limited extent when the seat back frame is in its normal seating position to provide a tip and kneel position. In the tip and kneel position the seat is disposed intermediate the seating position and fully stowed position with the seat back upright to provide improved ingress and egress to areas of the vehicle behind the seat assembly.

Abstract: A releasable hinge for attaching tonneau covers to the cargo compartment of pickup trucks. The hinge has a hinge mechanism fastened to the bottom or underside of the tonneau cover. A complementary locking tab is mounted to the cab end of the cargo compartment. The hinge mechanism has a plate with a locking tongue that is received in a locking channel in the locking tab to latch the tonneau cover to the cargo compartment. To remove the tonneau cover from the cargo compartment, the tonneau cover is raised above a predetermined angle which disengages the locking tongue from the locking channel. This allows the hinge to separate from the locking tab. Any gas struts are released from their mounting brackets and the tonneau cover can be removed from the cargo compartment.

The first container has a length similar to the width of the opening of the trunk and is stored in the second container in its storage position. In its operative position, the first container rests on the rear bumper and is anchored relative to the vehicle by straps caught by the second container which is secured inside the trunk compartment of the automobile. The user grasps a handle element to extract and display the cover sheet from the first container without the need of unfolding the cover. The user can also easily uncover the automobile and stuff the cover sheet into the first container, without the need of compactly folding the cover.
