  • Patent number: 7222907
Abstract: A release latch for use with a vehicle seat. A latch plate is rotatably secured to the seat and engages a floor mounted striker. A cam is rotatably secured to the seat and defines a shoulder biasingly seating against a support surface of the latch plate. A lever actuates the cam away from the support surface. A coil spring extends between the cam and a location of the latch plate offset from its pivot point. Forward pivoting of the seat occurs upon the shoulder separating from the support surface, the coil spring causing the latch plate to further rotate in a disengaging direction relative to the striker and upon the coil spring exceeding an over center portion relative to the pivot point of rotation of the latch plate.

  • Patent number: 7222923
Abstract: In a case where one of a left and right pair of drive wheels is a non-controlled wheel to which braking force of a vehicle behavior control is not applied, and the other of the drive wheels is a controlled wheel to which braking force is applied, a detected vehicle wheel speed for the non-controlled wheel is corrected to a smaller value in accordance with increase in the roll angle, and increase in the braking force of the controlled wheel when a roll angle of a vehicle body is larger than a threshold value. In a vehicle behavior control, when lateral G acts upon the vehicle during turning, braking force is applied to the controlled wheel that is at the outside of the turn. This braking force application causes driving force of the controlled wheel to be partially transferred to the non-corrected wheel that is at the inside of the turn, whereby the vehicle wheel speed of the non-corrected wheel is increased. Accordingly, in the present invention, correction calculation is performed.

  • Patent number: 7222928
Abstract: There has been an inefficient respect for printing control in a color printer in which only nozzle columns for black ink are high resolution. For a color printer 17b equipped with a plurality of nozzles arranged zigzag so that dark color ink droplets and light color ink droplets can be squirted onto one pixel at high resolution, resolution reduction to combine adjoining two lines into one line is performed (in step S400) and dark-light color separation is performed (in step S500), and subsequently nozzles for dark color ink and nozzles for light color ink squirt ink droplets for one pixel of pixels of two lines, thereby handling pixels for two lines as one pixel, and hence it is possible to realize high-speed printing mode with reduced scanning number to squirt ink droplets for all pixels of high resolution.

  • Patent number: 7222943
Abstract: There is disclosed an ink jet printhead which comprises a plurality of nozzles and one or more heater elements corresponding to each nozzle. Each heater element is configured to heat a bubble forming liquid in the printhead to a temperature above its boiling point to form a gas bubble therein. The generation of the bubble causes the ejection of a drop of an ejectable liquid (such as ink) through the respective corresponding nozzle, to effect printing. The printhead has a thin nozzle plate structure formed on the silicon wafer substrate to minimise any buckling of the printhead due to differences in the coefficients of thermal expansion. With minimal buckling, further lithographic etching and deposition processes are possible. Conveniently, the nozzle plate is formed by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) for accuracy and cost effectiveness.
